In the building, which has three apartments, the approximately 70-square-meter WALLI holiday rental is located on the ground floor.
The well-equipped kitchen features:
a dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, oven with 4 ceramic burners, and a large fridge-freezer combo.
In the hallway, there is a practical coat rack with a small shoe cabinet.
The bright living-dining room offers:
A 65-inch TV, a comfortable sofa set, and a dining table that seats up to 6 people, a recliner with an electric massage function, as well as a furnished balcony with a beautiful panoramic view.
Bedroom 1:
A double bed (1.80 m x 2 m), nightstands, a closet, and storage space. The room has two large windows overlooking the cable car, the Bocksberg with its summer toboggan run, and the historic Stabskirche.
Bedroom 2:
Two single beds, each 0.90 m x 2 m, nightstands, a closet, and a large window overlooking the Bocksberg and the cable car.
The bathroom with a window:
It features a spacious corner shower and a large towel warmer. There is a new hair dryer and plenty of storage space.
Hahnenklee is a paradise for hikers, mountain bikers, dog owners, families, and those looking to relax. The town offers many activities and events, suitable for every season.
The nearby Kuttelbacher See (about a 15-minute walk) is ideal for swimming, paddle boating, and sunbathing.
The spa park, with the beautifully landscaped shores of the Kranichsee, offers relaxing walks and a creative playground for children.
There are many hiking trails and mountain bike routes around the Hahnenklee.
The cable car operates not only in winter for skiers and hikers but also during other holiday seasons.
The town has various restaurants and a bakery for breakfast rolls or afternoon coffee.
Hahnenklee is a perfect starting point for day trips throughout the Harz Mountains. To the Brocken, the narrow-gauge railway, the mining museum, mine tunnels, charcoal burners, glassblowers, fantastic summer toboggan runs, the world’s longest suspension bridge of its kind in the heart of the Rappbode Valley, or the double-cable slide; the historic towns of Goslar, Wernigerode, Bad Harzburg, and much more.
So many possibilities—you’ll have to come back for holiday more than once!!!
