Cherners on Lake Chautauqua

Great weekend with children and grandchildren. Too hot to stay outside for long periods, but we enjoyed the lake views, did puzzle and games, read, rented a pontoon and grilled out. Very relaxing.

Excellent place to stay

The house was perfect! Everything we needed was readily available and easily accessible! The property is right on the water and has a gorgeous view of the sunrise. The property is also dog friendly which is amazing! We took our dogs and they had a blast and so much was provided for not only the humans but the dogs as well! We definitely plan to come back and stay here again! I highly recommend staying here!!

Another wonderful stay on the lake

This is our third time staying at the Castaray House and it was a beautiful week with three generations of family. We all love the great variety of water crafts and the beautiful view from the sunroom. We were thrilled to see a bald eagle fly right over the house and over the lake. It’s always a pleasure to spend our family vacation here!

Loved the lake life

My husband, son, daughter-in-law and 10 -month old grandson had a relaxing week. We loved the deck and outside patio area and sitting around the fire pit. The house is well stocked and very comfortable.

Beautiful Home

Really loved our vacation here. The outdoor space is amazing and the firepits really add to the evening fun. I would not recommend renting from Ashville marina as the boat we rented was old and had many repair issues.

We purchased this property to relax, slow down & truly enjoy what the outdoors have to offer, both young & old!
It is also, in honor of my father Dennis (64), who lost his life to lung cancer in 2011. He taught,us,how to hunt,fish,boat,shoot,camp & slow down. It's what, we want to leave, as our LEGACY!
