"Underwater Love"
The large mural in the living area, depicting a wondrous underwater world, gives the room a special character. Those who aren’t so fond of sea creatures can watch the clouds and seagulls drift by through the skylight from the cosy and comfortable corner couch and spend relaxing hours in front of the wood-burning stove.

Kitchen & Dining Area:
The kitchenette opens onto the living room and is equipped with everything you need, including an induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and a Nespresso coffee machine.
The dining area, with its round table and two comfortable chairs, is ideal for cosy breakfasts and shared dinners.

Bedroom & Bathroom:
The bedroom features a 160-cm bed. A sliding door leads to the adjacent bathroom with natural light and a spacious shower. A hair dryer is provided. Towels and bed linens are included.

Apartment No. 6 is located on the 1st floor of House West and, with a living area of approx. 45 square metres, accommodates up to 2 people.

Please note that Apartment 6 is unfortunately not suitable for small children. However, children ages 12 and older are welcome.

The Outdoor Area:
TIDE4 is situated on slightly elevated ground on a 2,000-square-meter property. In 2024, we began redesigning the area around the house and transforming it into a natural dune garden. Sand, dune grass, and pine bushes. In between, boardwalks and beach chairs. By the way, each apartment has its own beach chair available.

The Location:
Our guesthouse is located on a quiet side street in Wittdün. Wittdün is like a small corner at the southern tip of the island. This is where the ferries from the mainland and from Föhr arrive. And nowhere else on the island is the sea as close as it is here. This location “between the seas” is what makes it so special. On one side, barely 100 metres away, lies the Wadden Sea; on the other, the expansive Kniepsand and Amrum’s endless dune landscape. But the small town centre of Wittdün—with all the shops for daily needs, restaurants, and our favourite beach bar overlooking the vast beach—isn’t far either.

The Island:
Amrum is synonymous with peace and relaxation. The endless beaches, the vast horizon, and the unspoiled natural beauty are good for the soul and guarantee a relaxing holiday. Yet life on this small island in the heart of the UNESCO Wadden Sea World Heritage Site is anything but boring. You can set out on wonderful walks right from the house. The Wadden Sea and the expansive Kniepsand—one of Europe’s largest sandy beaches—are just a few minutes’ walk away. This is also where the Dune Nature Trail begins—one of the many boardwalks that branch out across Amrum’s unique dune landscape. You can also enjoy a long walk through the woods, as Amrum, with approximately 200 hectares of forest, is actually the most forested island on the North Sea coast. Those who’d like to explore Amrum by bike can cycle all the way around the island via the well-developed network of bike paths. One of the highlights is undoubtedly a mudflat hike. On guided tours from Amrum to Föhr, you can explore the fascinating world of the Wadden Sea and perhaps even spot a seal or two.

On Amrum, a visitor’s tax applies to all guests aged 18 and older; this tax is calculated based on the travel season and is charged by us as an additional fee. Children and teenagers under 18 travelling with their parents or a legal guardian (except on group tours) do not have to pay anything. In addition, individuals with a “B” on their disability ID card and their accompanying person are exempt from the visitor’s tax.
