In Gingst, there’s a supermarket with an on-site bakery where you can get fresh breakfast rolls and other groceries. A small garden café (Wusse No. 11) invites you to enjoy homemade cakes and pastries.

The best way to explore the island of Ummanz is by bike (a rental shop is right next door) or on foot

The island of Rügen offers a wide variety of sights and excursions. For example, be sure to plan a visit to the Stubbenkammer (the Königsstuhl chalk cliffs in Jasmund National Park), take a ride on the Rasender Roland (a historic narrow-gauge railway), and experience the fascinating Störtbekerfestspiele at the Ralswiek Open-Air Theatre.
A day trip by ferry to the car-free island of Hiddensee will be a memory you’ll cherish forever.

Want to get active? Within easy reach, you can go surfing, kitesurfing, biking, horseback riding, and golfing.

You can go swimming just 400 metres away. Here you’ll find a small natural beach.
Or visit the beautiful sandy beach at Prora and enjoy a nice, long swim there.

The kids won’t get bored either. Within walking distance, there’s an adventure farm with a petting zoo, and the Lange Farm is about 2.5 km away. In Gingst, you’ll find Rügenpark (a miniature and adventure park covering 40,000 square metres), Abenteuerland Rügen, and much more.

Smoking is not permitted inside the house; pets (up to two dogs) are allowed.

On the day of arrival, the holiday home will be available to you starting at 4:00 PM.
On the day of departure, the house must be left clean and swept by 10:00 AM.
