The beautiful and modern villa complex, which includes Villa Strandläufer, is located in the Baltic Sea resort town of Baabe on Strandstraße, right next to the kilometer-long Baltic Sea beach. The complex is right on the beachfront. From here, it’s just 100 metres to the beach, and the spa gardens are also right next door. On the balcony, you can start or end your day in peace and quiet surrounded by beautiful scenery, and relax in the evening to the sound of the waves. From the villa, it’s just a short walk to the fine-sand Baltic Sea beach, perfect for swimming, relaxing, playing, or enjoying water sports. You’re welcome to take an almost endless stroll along the beach towards Sellin or Göhren and let your mind wander. The Mönchgut Peninsula, the southeastern part of the island of Rügen, has even more to offer than just the sea. These include, among other things, beautiful coastal forests towards Sellin/Binz, the Baaber Heide, or boat tours on the Baltic Sea or the Bodden, as well as well-maintained bike paths along Lake Sellin—making your holiday rental a great starting point. With the Rasender Roland narrow-gauge railway—which connects the Baltic Sea resorts of Göhren and Binz and stops in Baabe—you can wonderfully slow down and travel as in days gone by. Shopping and dining options are available in the immediate vicinity and are further complemented by the directly adjacent Baltic Sea resorts of Sellin and Göhren. Villa Strandläufer, Apartment 36 “Mermaid” with balcony:

This light-filled, comfortable two-room apartment, measuring approximately 42 m², is located on the 2nd floor of Villa Strandläufer and can be easily reached by lift. The modern and inviting non-smoking holiday apartment “Meerjungfrau” is designed for up to 2 people. The living area features a cosy corner couch with a coffee table, an armchair, a floor lamp, a bookshelf, and a lowboard. The entertainment area includes a smart TV, a Blu-ray player, an internet-enabled CD radio, and Wi-Fi. A small selection of board games and books is also available for your enjoyment. The kitchen area adjoins this space with a modern and well-equipped kitchenette. The high-quality amenities include a dishwasher, a self-contained electric cooktop with a 4-zone ceramic hob, a sink, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a compact oven, a microwave, an exhaust hood, a blender, an egg cooker, a kettle, a toaster, a coffee maker with a thermos, a Tassimo pod coffee maker, and a dining area. From the balcony, which you can access from the living area, you’ll enjoy a relaxing view of the pine groves and, to the side, the Baltic Sea. Thanks to its south/west orientation, you can wonderfully enjoy the sun until late afternoon or wind down the day in comfort. The cosy bedroom features a box-spring bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) with two different firmness settings (2/3), bedside tables with lighting, a smart TV, and a wardrobe with a mirrored front. Blackout curtains, pleated blinds, and insect screens—which are also installed in the living area—ensure a quiet and restful night’s sleep. The en suite bathroom is equipped with a walk-in rain shower, a vanity with mirror, a toilet, a hair dryer, a makeup mirror, and a towel warmer. Additionally, the apartment features a small storage closet in the entryway with various cleaning supplies. The villa complex includes a wellness area with a communal sauna and a laundry room with washing machines, dryers, and an ironing board, which you are welcome to use as needed for a fee. Pets are not allowed. Outdoor parking space No. 36 is included for you. You can lock your rented or personal bicycles to the bike racks in the outdoor area. You can book an initial linen package (complete set of bed linens, 1 shower towel, 2 small hand towels) for an additional fee up to 14 days before arrival, or supplement it with your own linens.
