With ocean views stretching all the way to Denmark, a private sauna, exposed ceiling beams, a wood-burning stove, and tasteful, unique furnishings, the Ostscheune on Mühlendamm offers a special atmosphere where you can truly relax. The holiday rental combines modern comfort with historic loft charm and is located just a few steps from the sea.

The panoramic window in the living area offers a breathtaking view of the Flensburg Fjord—from your first cup of coffee or tea in the morning all the way to sunset.

We provide our guests with a complimentary starter set of firewood for the stove, which will be ready upon arrival. This way, you can enjoy cosy evenings with a crackling fire, warm light, and plenty of that Fjord vibe right from the start—perfect after a walk on the beach or a long day in the fresh sea air.

The new open-concept kitchen is fully equipped and invites you to enjoy meals together in the holiday rental. In the kitchen, you’ll find a classic drip coffee maker (size 4 coffee filters)—perfect for a cosy start to the day. In addition, there’s a washing machine, a dishwasher, an oven, a stove with a ceramic cooktop (and range hood), as well as a kettle and a large, stylish refrigerator (SMEG) with a freezer compartment.

Microwave upon request: If a microwave is needed during your stay, one is available at Mühlendamm. This can be provided upon request. Since it is shared among several holiday rentals, availability is subject to supply.

The modern bathroom features a shower, heated floors, and a heated towel rack.

Cosy box-spring beds in the two bedrooms ensure a restful night’s sleep (one double bed, 180 x 200 cm, with a continuous mattress, two single beds measuring 90 x 200 cm). The bedrooms are equipped with insect screens during the summer months.

The choice is yours: We offer you the option of bringing your own linens to help keep your holiday costs down. Alternatively, we’re happy to provide our linen package (bed linens and towels) as an optional extra—whichever best suits your travel plans.

Our guests also enjoy a private, fenced-in barbecue and campfire area about 30 m away, complete with sun loungers and an unobstructed view across the fields to the Baltic Sea. Hof Mühlendamm is situated in a secluded location at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac—with no through traffic.

Dear dog lovers
Up to three dogs are welcome to stay with us. Accommodation and cleaning fees are charged separately. A small welcome gift is provided to help you start your holiday on a relaxing note.

The digital guest app offers numerous tips for beaches, walks, and hikes with your dog, as well as restaurants and attractions where dogs are welcome. There’s also no shortage of opportunities for plenty of stick-tossing around the Mühlendamm.

The Mühlendamm is a place of peace and relaxation. We want to preserve this special atmosphere for all our guests. Therefore, we ask for mutual consideration. Dogs should not disturb other guests by barking continuously or repeatedly. They should also respond appropriately to walkers, other dogs, and passersby on the public beach path.

Mühlendamm is particularly well-suited for dogs that feel comfortable in a quiet environment with other guests, dogs, and occasional activity on the beach path. This way, both dog owners and those seeking peace and quiet can enjoy a relaxing stay.
