Vacation home in a peaceful setting.

Superb villa 5km from the sea. Fully equipped house with air conditioning, a pool of 10x5 m secured by 2 gates to safety standards. The house is not overlooked, while being close to the center of the village (3 minutes walk). In the garden you will find an old oil mill converted into a barbecue for summer grills and many games (a ping pong, a swing, some bikes ...). The house can accommodate up to 6/7 people with the possibility of having 2 cots. Large garden with pine trees, palm trees. The Aude is a tourist region with its African Reserve, an underground cellar 80m underground: Terra Vinéa in Portel, the City of Carcassonne, the city of Narbonne (with its Domitia way, its wine of Corbières and Fitou.

Pool was amazing and the host being available for the check in was much better than the usual here is the key and a list of do’s and dont’s. Property was ideally situated for the many places we like to visit on the South Coast. Property was very clean and kitchen had all you needed.

Comfortable, clean with great pool.

We loved this property and our stay!, Exceptionally kept large villa which we found to be comfortable and clean with a large garden for the kids to play in, and is equipped with table tennis, foosball table, toys and even bikes. The pool area is one of the best we have had, with a large pool and very well kept. There is a brilliant under cover barbeque area which was very easy to use. The property is in walking distance from the nice village centre which has everything that you need.

Finding the property was nice and easy, our host was there to meet us, which was nice after a six hour drive. We were a bit concerned if the place was secure for our little dog and it was, so we able to relax. Everything we might of needed was there, it was clean and even had fly nets over the doors and windows so we were able to have them open without being bitten. The pool was great and clean, It was quiet area and in the day time you are with in walking distance of the town and only a five minute drive to the supermarket and the petrol and the vets which one of them spoke English.at the end of our stay our host returned on the day we had to leave to say good bye and to see that we had a great stay which we did, thanks Kathy

Relaxing vacations

Nicely situated in the village of Sigean with all stores in reach by feet. Two bakeries to choose the croisants and baguettes from in the morning. The beaches are easy accessible by car and there is also a lot more to discover. We also liked some small spots nearby: Isle Saint Lucie, the old salines and the Canal de la Robine near Port-la-Nouvelle. The garden is just great, spacious with big palmtrees flowers and shadow. A very nice pool with tile mosaic (no plastic) is fun for all. The old windmill is now a place to safely barbeque, even during strong winds. We had a warm welcome by the owner, everything was easy and stressless.

Toller Pool, Haus komfortabel - teilweise aber

Cathy war sehr freundlich und der Check in und out war unkompliziert.Das Haus entspricht dem bekannten Standard im Mittelmeer Raum, manches müsste repariert/modernisiert werden z. B. Duschbrausen haben kaputte Halterungen, ein Bett ist sehr durchgelegen etc. Wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt. Positiv zu erwähnen ist der große tolle Pool, der zwar nach 2 Wochen 38 Grad keine Abkühlung mehr war, und die Klimaanlage. Negativ überrascht war ich vom Garten.Das der Rasen im Hochsommer bei 38 Grad vertrocknet ist, verstehe ich natürlich. Der Rasen war aber ungepflegt also voller Steine, Kletten und pieksenden Pinien. Der Pinienbaum sorgt auch für Harzflecken. Für unseren Hund war es richtig blöd und er hat sich an der Pfote verletzt und hatte alles verklebt. Kinder können hier auch nur mit Schuhen raus. Am schlimmsten haben uns aber die Mücken den Urlaub vermießt. Eine richtige Plage! Cathy hat viele Sachen aufgestellt gegen Mücken, aber hilft leider alles nicht. Abends draußen entspannt sitzen bei einem Glas Wein war nicht möglich. Da kann natürlich Cathy nichts für, aber hat uns trotzdem gestört. Blöden Plagegeister! Der Ort Sigean ist ausreichend groß. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vielzählig vorhanden. Auch ein paar Restaurants gibt es. Bäcker in der Nähe. Nur eine Eisdiele fehlt In der Nähe (15 min Fahrt) gibt es einen Naturstrand, wo Hunde auch erlaubt sind.

Tolle Lage, traumhafter Pool, super nette Vermieterin

Wunderschön gelegen, fußläufig in den Ort. Das Haus ist von der Einrichtung typisch für die Mittelmeerküste. Es gibt einen riesigen, von Bäumen umgebenden Pool. Schönster Strand der Ecke (Leucate Plage) ist gleich um die Ecke.

Alles prima - bis auf...

Was für uns sehr vorteilhaft war, war der eingezäunte Garten, aus dem unsere Hündin nicht entwischen konnte. Insgesamt war der Garten und auch der Pool toll - auch lagen viele Spielgeräte bereit. Jedes Fenster war mit Fliegengitter ausgestattet, die fast lebensnotwendig war. Problematisch allerdings war der Geruch, der sich vom ersten Tag an immer wieder einstellte und auch chemischen Mittel die durch die Vermieterin zum Einsatz kamen, halfen nicht. Es roch in den Bädern, der Küche und einem Schlafzimmer phasenweise nach verfaultem Kohl. Außerdem muss erwähnt werden, dass die Klimaanlage, zwar vorhanden ist und auch funktioniert, aber sie wird zentral durch die Vermieterin gesteuert. Man sie nicht selbst einschalten oder regulieren. Genau das erwarte ich aber, wenn ich ein Haus mit einer Klimaanlage miete.

Petit paradis pour des vacances familiales

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la "villa du moulin ", la maison est grande et agréable, le très grand jardin parfait pour se reposer en famille et pour notre petit chien. On n'a pas compté les heures passées dans la piscine... Pas de vis à vis bien qu'en ville... Et le charme du moulin pour les grillades. Grand Merci à Madame Puel pour toutes les attentions lors de l'accueil et pendant notre sejour

Nice vacation villa

Nice vacation villa, situated at the edge of the village Sigean (bakery, small supermarket and pizza place within walking distance). Beautiful garden for the children to play in. Very nice swimming pool that is closed off from the garden. There are many nice villages, restaurants and wineries close by. Beach at Port la Nouvelle is closest to the property, about a 5 min drive. But a bit further down the coast the beaches are prettier (Leucate). Cathy was a lovely host as well.

Perfect in every way!

What can we say about this lovely holiday home other than it was perfect for our family. We had a fabulous time exploring the region and spent lazy days by the Villa Le Moulin's swimming pool. We wish now that we could have stayed longer. Sigean is a lovely village and had everything we needed. Cathy, can we say a big thank you to you and that we would really like to return later in the year work schedules permitting. Best wishes from all of the Walsh family and Rosie the dog.

Nous avons passé des superbes vacances dans ce village bien sympathique (très bons restaurants). La maison était parfaite, bien entretenue et très agréable à vivre. Super séjour

Un Grand Merci pour ce séjour, nos enfants ont profité de la piscine ainsi que du jardin , le soleil était au rendez vous ce qui nous a permis de visiter de nombreux endroits proches de la villa...Un petit centre de ville près de la plage fut également apprécié, nos baignades sur une plage ou nous étions tranquilles ont participé à notre séjour idyllique ! L accueil de notre propriétaire fut extrêmement sympa, cadeau gourmand à notre arrivée ainsi que des conseils de visites bref séjour trop court A bientôt peut être. ...Une famille du Puy de Dôme .

Un semaine trés réussie

Notre séjour a été très plaisant et très ensoleillé. Les photos sont très représentatives et la gentillesse et le sens de l’accueil de Me Puel nous a touchés. L’extérieur est très agréable...ça tombe bien nous y avons passé le plus clair de notre temps, notamment dans la piscine (on peut y nager, se détendre, plonger, jouer). Pour ce qui concerne les visites: la réserve africaine, Narbonne, Carcassonne, Sète... Bref....nous recommandons vivement.

une semaine de vacances très appréciable

Nous avons passés une semaine inoubliable dans cette magnifique maison!! Tout est fait pour plaire : le cadre magnifique avec un jardin aussi grand que beau (une mention spéciale pour les palmiers et le figuier) qui nous ont fait voyagé!! Une piscine des plus agréable et un moulin extraordinaire !! Le cadre est vraiment grandiose. Nous voulions nous reposer c'est chose faite car la maison est très calme! Les propriétaires de la maison sont aussi exceptionnels que le reste de la maison! Très gentils très accueillants et disponibles! Une semaine vraiment magique!

JOLIE MAISON + GRANDE PISCINE = SUPERBES VACANCES

Nous avons apprécié un accueil chaleureux et généreux (des vins et des délices offerts) ; la propriétaire est très gentille et prête à répondre à tout ce qu’on veut. Spacieuse et aérée, cette jolie villa est propre et bien aménagée avec tout l’essentiel pour le confort – on dirait presque tout car nous regrettons beaucoup le manque des coussins pour les chaises de salon sur la véranda ainsi qu’une deuxième liseuse dans une des chambres à deux personnes. Elle est idéalement située pour ceux qui veulent découvrir les plages (Port La Nouvelle, Leucate, La Franqui, Gruissan, dont les deux derniers restent toujours nos favoris) et les lieux historiques, en vivant dans un vieux village typique et insolite ! Le marché du samedi matin est à visiter, surtout pour se mélanger avec les villageois ! Une magnifique piscine et un jardin ombré et fleuri et sans vis-à-vis font complet le plaisir de cette très agréable location que nous recommandons sans hésitation. Permettez-moi de nous présenter : 3 retraités d’un « certain âge » qui cherchent depuis des années dans cette région une location pour nous détendre, de prendre les bains de soleil en lisant nos livres à toutes les heures, de nous nous baigner à volonté, de ne pas penser à gêner personne…… en résumé, d’être vraiment en vacances ! Nous y avons trouvé la villa idéale. Malheureusement, les moustiques nous y ont trouvé au même temps ! Il est évident que je ne suis pas française! Dans le but d’éviter un malentendu, je vais continuer dans la langue maternelle! Some things to note : a) the « barbecue » is charming but requires grilling over an open fire – albeit in the large, old chimney – IF you can find the appropriate kindling/firewood. We didn’t. b): the description of bathrooms on the website is quite inaccurate. There is one full bathroom: bath with shower, w.c. and hand basin and plenty of storage shelves. There is one separate w.c. The second “bathroom” or “salle d’eau” is behind a curtain, drawn across one wall of a bedroom: wash basin and a stall shower, recessed into the wall. There is no bath; it is not a room. c): the veranda needs two or three comfortable chairs for those seeking shade under the awning.
