About the host
Hosted by Jennifer MacDonald-Martin

We (Tony & Jennifer) are Islanders who live in Charlottetown and feel very fortunate to own this slice of PEI heaven. We have 3 sons. I (Jennifer) have strong ties to Greenwich. My Mom and her siblings were born in Greenwich & I have had relatives in this area for 6 generations. I spent a lot of time in this area over the years. Family still live in the century farm home next door. This is a favorite part of PEI for us and we enjoy it year round. While we call this a cottage it is actually a year round property as it is a fully insulated small home on a foundation and it is heated.
Opportunity knocked in 2012 -We were thrilled to be able to buy a piece of family land and have a cottage/house with the view they always wanted - beautiful water view & picturesque countryside!!
We have done extensive renovations since purchasing the property in the fall of 2012 & have transformed it into a licensed Tourism PEI & 4 Star Canada Select Property.
We hope you enjoy the home & this area as much as we do!

Why they chose this property
We always wanted a cottage or small home with a water-view that also included beautiful Island scenery and not just an ocean view.
We were thrilled to be able to buy a piece of family land and this home with the view we always wanted - beautiful water view of the Bay & picturesque countryside!! Having the opportunity to have a property with such strong family connections was the icing on the cake!
This house was originally owned by a family member and then sold to an Ontario resident. When we had the chance to buy the house that was on land that went back 5 generations in Jennifer's family we jumped at that opportunity.
They always loved this area and it has the view they always wanted - stunning water view with beautiful countryside.
Having a beautiful beach & trails just 4 minutes away & everything you need within 5-10 mins make it even better.
What's not to love?!
Come and visit. You will surely agree it is lovely here!!
