I am glad you chose to stay with us. I am sorry you think it needs a deep cleaning. I will communicate this to our cleaners. With the back to back rentals throughout the summer and fall, it is hard to get a crew in there for a deep cleaning, but we will look closely at what needs to be done in get it in great shape!

We loved this place! The set up with the two different floors for the bedrooms and bathrooms was great! Things that would make this a five star listing would be: having beach chairs on property to use and more outlets or charging stations. Loved seeing the local alligator at the nearby pond and being able to walk to restaurants and shops!

I wish this guest would have asked about the chairs and outlets before providing her rating. We have tried leaving chairs and even a cart for our guests. However, they have been left on the beach or stolen. Unfortunately, we cannot assume that all guests will be conscientious and do the right thing. We have multiplug extension outlets in most of the bedrooms under the dresser. We don't leave them out where someone can trip over them.

Traveled with girlfriends for a getaway. The house had plenty of room for a much larger group. The pool was steps away and the beach & shops were very close. We’d stay again!

My wife and I are originally from Kingsport, TN and Winston-Salem, NC, respectively. I attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville while my wife attended Appalachian State University. We live in Charlotte, NC but love the beach! We bought this place in 2011 and completely remodeled and renovated it for not only our family, but for your family, to enjoy. We have made many great family memories in this cottage/villa. We have also enjoyed bringing both friends and family to Coligny Cottage. There are so many wonderful family things to do on this island and many of them are within walking distance of our front door.

When we bought this property, we did not realize at that time what a great and perfect location this is. We often come here and park our car and never get in it again until we are ready to go home.
