Welcome to our Strandgut!

Inspired by the stunning landscape, our passion for collecting, and our love for the Baltic Sea, the entire apartment is filled with little treasures from the sea, the beach, the dunes, and the pine forest. The light-filled rooms, with views of the sea and the bustling inland area, offer everything you need to relax and unwind.

High-quality Bauhaus-style furnishings provide the clarity you need to breathe deeply, and—combined with natural elements—create a calming and cosy atmosphere while offering all the comforts you could wish for. Modern design in fresh colours exudes a luxurious flair and lets you forget the stress of everyday life.

Both bedrooms feature high-quality box-spring beds that will lull you to sleep, allowing you to rest and recharge so you can start the new day well-rested and refreshed. Each bedroom is equipped with a flat-screen Smart TV, so you can enjoy a good film right from your bed. For a particularly undisturbed night’s sleep, you can completely black out the windows in both bedrooms. If you choose to sleep with the window open, you can enjoy the sound of the ocean—and, thanks to the fly screens, do so without being bothered by pesky insects.
Two elegantly appointed bathrooms with showers offer additional amenities for your stay and also provide plenty of privacy, ensuring this apartment offers ample space and freedom even for a holiday with friends.

You can enjoy breakfast on the balcony in the sun, with a view of the dunes, while relaxing in our comfortable garden chairs and sipping a good cup of coffee. You can buy fresh rolls right at the bakery next door, as well as delicious cakes and pastries to enjoy with your coffee.

Another convenience is the private beach access. Just a few metres across the dunes and you’ll be on one of the longest and finest sandy beaches on the Baltic Sea. The shallow water and fine sand invite you to relax and swim, and are especially ideal for children.

For dinner, there are many different restaurants in the immediate vicinity. You can also walk along the seaside promenade to Binz and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere there. Or simply make yourself comfortable at our “Strandgut,” cook something in the beautiful, high-quality kitchen, and enjoy the evening sun streaming in with a good glass of wine. The combined living/dining area is perfect for social gatherings.

If the weather turns bad, you can curl up on our cosy couch and relax or watch a good film on the large Full HD flat-screen Smart TV.
If you do happen to feel a chill, our communal sauna on the 5th floor offers a special touch of luxury. After your sauna session, you can refresh yourself with the sea air on the rooftop terrace or make yourself comfortable to rest and enjoy the panoramic view of the Baltic Sea and the pine grove.

A free parking space and bicycle storage are available for your use. Free Wi-Fi is, of course, also included.

Gentle dune landscapes along the fine-sand, kilometer-long beach surround Haus Arkona. A highlight at Haus Arkona is the Sky Sauna on the 5th floor, featuring an ON-TOP terrace that offers a panoramic view of the Baltic Sea, dense beech forests, and romantic heathlands. On this communal rooftop terrace, you can soak up the sun, do your daily exercise routine, or simply relax and read a book. Nature reserves, such as the famous chalk cliffs and flint fields, invite you to take long hikes. Binz is definitely worth a visit. Rügen’s largest seaside resort enchants visitors with its seaside architecture and idyllic charm.
