The perfect escape to the German Alps! The place itself sits by the road a few yards from the train tracks but it is very quiet even at night. We got to enjoy watching the trains come and leave with the view of the mountains from our room and the balcony, and from time-to-time watch people walking their dogs and riding their bikes just going about their day. The place is spotless and comes with a few cleaning supplies should you need it. It is a smaller town outside of the more popular Garmisch-Partenkirchen but comes with a few restaurants and two supermarkets all within walking distance. We have to park our car on the road, but it is not a big deterrent as the road itself is spacious and few traffic. If you’re as lucky as we are, you might also get to see the goat right next to the fence by your car should they decide to come out and eat. We hope to stay here again in the future.
