Provence Paradise!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family holiday. There were 13 of us from age 15 to 75 (and two dogs). Plenty of room to accommodate large group. Lots of room to all sit round table outside (and inside if you want to). Close to excellent boulangerie (15 minute walk) and great restaurant/pizzeria. Pascale very accommodating. Merci beaucoup!

Pascal was very responsive and we had a great welcome and availability form Lieve. 2 lovely bottles of wine welcomed us. The location is fantastic for cycling and the village has a great Italian. The property is in need of a bit of love to make it a great property and I can see pascal addresses issues quickly. We did enjoy our stay, great view from balcony, lovely pool although some tiles were falling off. Overall a little decorative TLC required for a potentially great house.

The house is very spacious but the bathrooms are very outdated. The bathroom in the basement has no shower, only a bathtub without a plug. The big bedroom upstairs has a very unstable bed, not comfortable. The 5th woodenleg under the bed The kitchen is well stocked but the filters of the hood/fan are extremely greased and dirty. The pool is nice, good temperature. Very short walk to small supermarket, bakkery and italian restaurant in town.

Memorable family stay in a beautiful setting

We enjoyed a very memorable stay in Mormoiron with our extended family, ranging from age 8-79. Pascal welcomed us with two bottles of Rosé from the local region, which was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. He was also responsive to any questions/issues we raised during our stay, for example, providing additional pillows, regulating the pool temperature and recommending places to visit. The earlier than arranged check-out, though, was a bit rushed. The house itself is charming and full of character. However, some facilities could do with updating eg kitchen, play area (which was unsafe), poolside area and the separate WCs as they had no hand basins. All in all though the facilities are good, with table tennis and boules as well as the pool to keep everyone entertained. The balcony overlooking the pool is beautiful and made for some magical family mealtimes. The location is perfect. The village of Mormoiron is lovely and the house is a 3-minute walk from the bakery, other shops and a couple of restaurants. Also within walking distance is a peaceful lake with a sandy beach, with the added bonus of an amazing high ropes course. And for wine tasting, you're spoilt for choice. Overall we had a great experience in a beautiful setting, which we will always remember.

We, a group of 12, stood in the house for one week – main purpose was cycling. The house suited us very well: A lot of bedrooms with 1-3 beds, well equipped kitchen, a large common room with a big, flexible table, couch and TV, wifi, French books, … all you need. The kitchen has four gas hat plates, two fridges and a freezer, big cooking pots and pans and enough cutlery and plates for several meals. A dishwasher and microwave make life easier. There are several bathrooms and toilets on each level, but some toilets are not equipped with a bathroom sink – one of a few downsides. The other is access to the garden with the pool: The two rooms on ground/basement level have doors to get to the pool. If you don’t want to walk through their private space, you need to get out of the front door and walk around half of the house. Not an issue, but a small weakness. All bedrooms and the common room are equipped with ACs for heating or cooling. There is large terrace on first floor/kitchen level. The landlord Pascal is well reachable and has helpful information, e.g. on local markets. He has basic English skills, but communicates mainly in French.The small town serves with a few restaurants, a bakery and a very well equipped supermarket/grocery store with everything you need.After all: We’d come back anytime.

Nous avons passé un séjour en août en famille dans ce gîte.Certains points mériteraient selon nous d'être améliorés au regard du prix : l'équipement pour cuisiner qui était insuffisant (robot ménager multifonction, des poêles qui n'accrochent pas, des tupperware...), l'écoulement des douches pas optimal, le fer à repasser complètement brûlé et inutilisable, l'électricité qui saute quand le grille-pain est branché, la lumière extérieure manquante sur le balcon, les portes qui grincent...Par ailleurs, il est à noter que l'accès à la piscine n'est pas au niveau de l'espace de vie mais se fait nécessairement en passant par une chambre.Nous avons toutefois passé un agréable séjour dans ce gite qui est très bien situé pour visiter la région. Il est très spacieux et permet à chacun d'avoir son espace.La piscine est très agréable.

Au lieu d'ecrire ces choses après votre séjour il suffisait de nous en informé et nous serions intervenu immédiatement !!! une ampoule grillée cela arrive ! et le reste idem... Quand au prix désolé mais vous avez payé seulement 618 € par jour !!!! POUR UNE TRES GRANDE MAISON AVEC 7 CHAMBRES ,piscine , Climatisation etc etc ce qui est imbattable au niveau prix !!! bref no comment.... les internautes comprendrons...

Ondanks de kou een warme vakantie gehad met de familie

De (vroege) ontvangst door Lieve was hartelijk. De eigenaar liet meteen een mixer aanrukken voor de maaltijd van de baby. Het huis voldeed aan onze wensen: ieder een eigen slaapkamer, eigen badkamer, grote tuin, mooi zwembad, goede keuken, leuk dorpje, airco die gelukkig de ruimtes warm hield. Het is een authentiek groot huis, wat charme heeft, maar daardoor ook oud is met wat kleine, maar voor ons niet storende, gebreken.

Tolle Unterkunft für kleine Gruppen

Das Haus in Mormoiron bietet 7 Schlafzimmer, 4 Bäder, 5 Toiletten, eine Küche und ein großes Wohn-, Esszimmer. Der Pool ist 8*4 m groß und war eines der Highlights. Es gibt auch eine TT- Platte, kostenloses WLAN, einen Holzkohlegrill und eine großen Garten mit Schaukel. Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden gestellt. Die Ausstattung der Küche war einwandfrei. Es war alles da, was man mit 14 Personen benötigt. 2 große Kühlschränke, große Töpfe und ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck. Auch Stauraum gibt es reichlich. Das Haus liegt zentral in Mormoiron, so dass die Bäckerei, die Pizzeria und der kleine Supermarkt fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und haben den Urlaub genossen. Der Vermieter ist auch sehr nett und umgänglich.
