We love this cabin! It's our second time staying here with a big group and it perfectly fits our needs. With plenty of comfortable beds, a stocked kitchen, and some great ammenties, we'll try to book here again for our next ski adventure.
They were wonderful at communicating-very friendly and welcoming. We held Thanksgiving at Pine Lodge-with our of state family. There was plenty of room for everyone. The amenities were wonderful-they have provided everything to make you feel at home.

It was a pleasure to host Cathy and her group! They treated the cabin extremely well! Please come back any time!!
Great location in a quiet neighborhood close to Mt. Rainier national park. Loved all the small touches in this beautiful property, and really enjoyed just lounging in hammock on the patio, and soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking. Host was great at responding quickly to any questions - would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed getaway.
Well appointed and comfortable, the Pine Lodge was a great base for exploring Mt. Ranier National Park. Our family of four — mom, dad, 2 teen daughters — had a wonderful stay. We lounged outside, played games, cooked, watched movies, and hot tubbed our sore calves after long hikes. It was a great stay .
We had such a wonderful stay at The Pine Lodge. We used it as a base camp to explore the national park but were surprised at how much we loved the cabin too. We stayed there with our young kids who loved the swing set, hammock and various games. The hot tub was lovely and the movie collection was perfect for our kids to relax after a long day of hiking. We would absolutely stay again.
Kitchen is fully equipped we were able to bake cookies and stuff for the holidays easy access to hiking and snow

Jeff, we are so glad your group had such a wonderful time at the cabin. The cabin is a great getaway to relax, not too far from Seattle and very easy to get to. We are so pleased you had such a great experience with our hospitality supervisor Kristen. We are so thankful to have someone like her watching over our cabin and all of our guest's needs right in Packwood just minutes from the cabin! Our entire team truly tries to make it a great experience for every guest. Please feel free to come back again anytime!
We had a great time reconnecting and spending quality time together here. There are so many things to do that the boys didn't even ask for video games. I don't want to spoil it but there are a lot more surprises than what is listed. I can only imagine how great this place is in the winter.
Great home to stay with friends and family, fully recommend!
Our experience staying at this property was fantastic! The property manager was very helpful and quickly responded to any of our questions before and during our stay. The home is is excellent condition, clean and in a great location. We hope to stay again in the future.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for taking such great care of our family cabin! You are welcome back anytime!!
We stayed 4 nights with 2 families. The cabin was fully stocked and had 3 rooms downstairs and a loft upstairs where the kids liked to “hang out” away from the parents. Pine Lodge is less than 30 min to White Pass ski resort and located in a safe community. The hot tub was a plus after a long day of skiing.
Very clean and spacious, great facilities and comfortably sleeps a large family. Great access to skiing and local trails. Great communication with the hosts (or property managers) that resolved a small issue we had with lighting.

We spent a long weekend here and loved it. The beds are comfortable. The cabin aesthetic is cozy and fun. All the comforts needed were provided! We appreciated the pack n play and kiddo dishes for our young ones. Great stay! We talked about how the “bunk room” would be sooo fun for our boys and some friends or cousins when they’re older and we go skiing. Our kids are 3 and 1 and we actually celebrated our 3 year olds birthday here and went to Elbe to ride the scenic railroad. It was about 45 min away and a beautiful drive. Host was very communicative and check in was a breeze!

About the host
Hosted by Pine Lodge
Husband and wife Joseph Taiwo and Irene Botero own Pine Lodge. They, along with sons Patrick and Jeremy live in the greater Seattle area. Jeremy, is a 2016 U.S. Olympian in the decathlon! Yes he made the U.S. team and came in 11th place in Rio! He followed in his father's footsteps, as Joseph was a two-time Olympian in track and field in 1984 and 1988.
Why they chose this property
Joseph and Irene designed their cabin and construction was completed in 2003 by Randle Woods, a local artisanal construction company. All of the supporting deck logs came from trees felled on the property as did the large trunk supporting the unique spiral staircase to the second floor. The owners fell in love with the area while staying at a friend's cabin in Packwood and fulfilled their dream of building and owning a vacation cabin that they and their two boys could enjoy year round. Winter recreational activities abound in the area with snowboarding, skiing, sledding and snowshoeing at White Pass, and snow-machining on local trails, just 20 minutes up the road. In the summer, the area lakes and streams which are usually stocked provide loads of fishing opportunities. Hiking is plentiful in the surrounding national forests, and in Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier National Parks. One of our favorite summer activities is enjoying a scenic 2 hour drive over White Pass into the Yakima Valley to enjoy area wineries. The cabin itself provides a wonderful opportunity to relax in the hot tub, sauna & cold plunge, to play board games with family and friends, to star-gaze, play a round of croquet and corn hole in the back yard, roast marshmallows in the fire pit and to explore Coal Creek/ National Forest, right across the road accessible using specific easement points posted next to the front door.
What makes this property unique
Across the street from the cabin is Coal Creek & the National Forest which is accessible using specific easements/ trails posted on a map next to the front door. One specific trail leads to rock slides and water falls upstream. It is a well kept community secret that deserves to be shared! Please enjoy our cabin as much as we have over the years and make yourself at home in this beautiful location!!
