I’m not sure there are words to describe how perfect our stay was. The location is tucked away with breathtaking views that go for miles. It provides both a quiet getaway and easy access to the amenities of Rapid City.We were surrounded in nature, greeted by a beautiful sunrise each morning and the only the sound of the breeze and the animals that roam the area. We loved sipping our coffee each morning while the dogs played. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave!!The apartment is spotless, cozy and well-equipped with more kitchen tools than I have at home!Sherry and Dan are the kindest hosts and we look forward to visiting again.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision to stay at the Ridge Loop property. Very clean, cozy and well maintained indoors, and the out door view was breathtaking. Peacocks, turkeys, deer and more. Dan and Sherry are excellent hosts. Thanks for everything you do to make it so special.

Beautiful Stay

This property had everything we needed and more. Dan and Sherry are wonderful hosts and the place was immaculate with unexpected extras to enjoy. The place was peaceful and relaxing. All activities we were interested in (Custer/Badlands) were a relatively short drive. Would highly recommend and if we are ever in that area again would want to stay there.

About the host

Hosted by Dan & Sherry Robb

Host profile image
We moved here from NW Iowa in 2002. We are empty nesters with a home we love to entertain in. We like to Hike, ride 4 wheelers, ride our HD motorcycle, and just take in the hills attractions. We love to Geo Cache because you never know where that will take you but one thing about it there is usually a breath taking view involved.

Why they chose this property

We love this 2 acre property and want to share our home and let you experience what the Black Hills has to offer. We have forest service access right around the corner with a spectacular view and quiet setting with lots of wildlife to observe. On 4th of July there are plenty of fireworks to watch right here without all the people.

What makes this property unique

When the heat of the summer peaks you can plan on at least 10 degrees cooler up here compared to town and in the winter we have inversions that often we are 10 degrees warmer than town. Enough trees cover to lessen the winds that you will experience in other areas.
