The ground floor of this condo is accessible. Ground level entry, a fully furnished kitchen with granite counter tops, Laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer, 2 car garage with a 2nd fridge, stainless steel appliances, 2 King beds, 3 Queen Beds and 1 Queen futon in the loft. There are 2 master bedroom suites (1 up and 1 down) and two add'l quest bedrooms (1 w/1 Queen bed and 1 w/2 Queen beds). So there are 2 King Beds and 3 Queen beds in bedrooms. There is a tub and and a separate shower in lower master. There are 4 full bathrooms. Stone gas fireplace in the living room, loft area for reading and entertaining upstairs, lower level bath is accessible with easy no step access to the shower. Free wifi, Free unlimited in and out of State Long Distance Calling - this is very important since many visitors to the county find that they have poor cell phone reception.

Please Note: This house is on a parcel of land that includes 190' linear feet Lake Michigan Sand Beach frontage. However, because of the trees and other buildings, there is just a partial water view. Guests have access to the beach but it is approx 50 meters (across the parking area and across the lawn) walking from the house. It is easy, quick access to the beach, but set back enough to have quiet and privacy from all of the beach activity. You can still hear the water at night from the house.

Lots of room!

Wonderful large house with beds enough for all! Rainy damp weather kept us from the beach but lots to do with a young one nearby. Granddaughter loved the little table for her project.

The perfect house for a family with babies or kids! Lots of room for everyone and the house was equipped with everything we needed. We were close to the beach but also had our own outdoor deck area so it checked all of our boxes. Only small downfall is the grass on the beach that could be cleaned up so there’s more beach space but other than that we had an amazing stay and this house is awesome! We hope to be back. Thanks Mark!

Awesome property

Had a great stay….. 3 couples and there would have been room for more. Enjoyed this “quiet side” with close restaurants and plenty of shopping, parks, history, etc close by. I highly recommend!

Nice House with Everything on it!

This is the first house we rented that has all the kitchen supplies, beach toys, and comfortable sofa and chairs. We love the place. We will definitely visit again.

Great House and Amazing Sunrises

Our annual Door Co getaway

New in 2014, this home was built on my parents' homestead. My 7 siblings and I played on this beach daily in the summer. This property is very dear to us. Our father, was born and raised next door to this property. His grandparents emigrated from Quebec and were commercial fishermen. After serving in the Navy during WWII, he purchased this beach property. In 1957, Richard and Helen built a home and several small cottages on the beach front and began operating 'Lake Shore Summer Homes'. They established a reputation for outstanding hospitality and one of the most beautiful beaches in Door County and had the same guests returning year after year for almost 50 years. In 2006, our family began the construction of new condominiums, removing the small cottages and completely rebuilding the family homestead. This property is part of my parents' legacy and the shoreline, the views of the lake and sounds of the waves are in our blood! We have decided to share it with you. Come stay with us and enjoy the beautiful sand beach in Jacksonport, WI.

Why they chose this property

It is built on my parents former beach property where I grew up. It is our second home now as we live in Atlanta. We have traveled around the world and this is still 'home' and our favorite place to spend time with our family.

What makes this property unique

Jacksonport is relaxing and uncommercialized! While there is everything you would want and need in the village of Jacksonport, it remains calm and tranquil. Many guests who have stayed with us say that they don't want anyone to know about it because they want it to remain calm and quiet! Jacksonport is centrally located between the main attractions and villages of Door County. Jacksonport is a unique area in Door County since it has the longest stretches of sand beach in the county.
