We are renting a large 19th-century farmhouse in Loctudy, in the Bigouden region, called “La Métairie.” You’ll be in a protected area, 300 metres from the long sandy beach “de Langoz,” on “Rue du Phare,” which is a dead-end street and very quiet. The sailing club is a 5-minute walk away, just 3 minutes’ walk from the dead-end at the large sandy Langoz Beach. All local shops (bakery, fish market, newsstand, pharmacy, etc.) are less than a 10-minute walk away.
The main building (200 m²) shown in the photos is your rental. In August, a family will be staying in the first building (the “small L-shaped section”). The front garden (300 m²) and the large back garden (1,400 m²), both fully enclosed by walls and shaded, are for your exclusive use.
PLEASE NOTE: If you prefer modern or fully renovated homes, do not rent “the farmhouse.” OUR HOUSE IS “IN ITS PRIME”: the decor dates back to the early 20th century: waxed parquet floors in the two large living rooms (35 and 40 m²) and on the upper floor, “egg-and-dash” wall paintings from the 1920s, heating via fireplaces and electric radiators, bathrooms with bathtubs (no showers yet).
The 2,000 m² garden is fully enclosed by high walls.
You can request assistance from a cook
At the end of your stay, you must leave the Métairie CLEAN.
In the summer, we will give priority to rental requests on a fortnightly basis
