Great house in a stunning location

This is a beautiful home with stunning views of the Alberes. A short walk into town where there are a handful of restaurants and a short drive ro the supermarket. Michel and Marianne live close by and were super helpful. The property is immaculately clean, with a great patio area and pool. The only thing to note is two toilets for eight guests - the en suites are shower and sink only. There are extra charges for end of stay clean and towel provision which are not included in the base price. We'd come back again - a great place for a family break or a group of adults. Merci beaucoup Michel et Marianne.

Tranquility

Lovely property and so quiet in the foothills of the Pyrenees yet only 5 mins from Carrefour and 20 min to Argeles or Perpignan. Supermarket shopping is so so expensive here but wouldn’t put us off coming again. Marianne is very welcoming.

Fantastic Villa beautiful setting

On the edge of a small typical village with a good selection of bars and restaurants this villa offers everything you would expect in terms of equipment, comfort and relaxation. Set in its own sizeable plot, it is very peaceful and quiet despite being next door to a campsite. The pool is lovely - although a little fresh in mid September when we visited - and provides a lovely area to relax in and take in the rays. locally there is a large Carrefore supermarket within a couple of miles and within walking distance a baker, butchers and small local grocery shop for anything last minute of those essential croisants in the morning. The hosts, Marianne and Michel were extremely welcoming and gave us a thorough tour of the property and came to see us on our way. We had little need to call on them further as everything was so perfect.

Excellente villa, très bien situé, loin de tout.

Très propre et spacieux. Tout le confort moderne. Chaque chambre avec salle de bain qui est très pratique, chacun (sauf un) avec accès direct à la terrasse et la piscine. Vaste zone autour de la maison offre de l'espace pour jouer et s'amuser, mais donner aussi un souffle. Une vue millions de dollars de la terrasse - d'avoir des repas ou en lisant un livre ici était mon moment préféré. Le camping voisin pas visible, peut être entendu de temps en temps mais pas dérangeant. Propriétaires vivent sur la route, ils sont très gentils et serviables. Accès à la plage est facile, à environ 10 km; Racou (à côté de Collioure) est recommandé, d'autres sont à Saint Cyprien, Argelès-sur-Mer et Collioure. L'eau dans la piscine et la mer peut être un peu frisquet en fin de Juin. Laroque est un charmante petite ville. Nombre de lieux à visiter dans le voisinage le plus proche, aussi bien que dans la conduite raisonnable, nous vous recommandons: Le Petit train Jaune (section de Fort Louise), Château de Peyrepertuse, Figueres et Salvador Dali Museum, Aqualand. Nous avons habité ici pendant deux premières semaines de Juillet 2013 et nous étions très heureux. Recommandé pour les familles avec enfants. Famille polonaise 2+3.
