Great Family Vacation

We stayed here so our families can visit, great location, beautiful environment and the setting is ideal for multi-family hosting. Christian checked on us to ensure everything was doing OK and we all enjoyed the stay very much. The house is beautiful, quiet and the pool is so nice! Highly recommend! Not to mention all the beautiful places around that our host recommended!

Beautiful property out in the country

Definitely rustic! There is no air conditioning, so on days with little breeze you will want to close the shutters on the sunny side and be in the pool. There are two buildings separated by a covered patio, so plenty of privacy for couples. Our family of 9 was not at all crowded. The property is far enough from town that cell service was spotty at best. The only issue we faced was the internet was out (animal damage to the line!) and it took several days for the "cable guy" to get there. Christian and Sophie were very helpful.

Nice property for nature lovers but overpriced

We spent a week in this nice and rustic property which is actually made of two houses, hidden on a little hill with no neighbours in sight and just the sound of the crickets. The house is well-equiped and the pool is gorgeous but there were quite a few little negatives which made it far too expensive for what it offered. We have been to quite a few different houses in the south of France and this one offered the least value for money. - When we arrived the electricity in one of the bedrooms and he adjacent shower room didn´t work and after a few mails with the owner (another disadvantage: no contact person near the place who could help quicker) we found a main switch the next morning which was well hidden to turn on the electricity. We hadn´t been aware that whoever had turned off this switch before had also turned of the water pump so that we had no running water during the night and in the morning. Unfortunately the water problem returned when the cisterns had run empty a day before our departure so that we had to use pool water for the toilets and couldn´t shower or do the washing up for a day. We were only 5 people and didn´t use an excessive amount of water so this shouldn´t happen. - at our arrival the bedlinen for the different beds was just piled up on a table and it was quite time-consuming to gather which sheets etc. belonged to which matress as they all had different sizes. We would´t have minded to make up our beds ourselves (we never had to do that before...) but somebody could at least have put the bedlinen onto the matching beds. - the two showers had no curtain or separation which wasn´t a problem in one of them but the other one was small and the water went all over the place while there was nothing at all to protect the floor and we had to use our towels to mop up the water. - using the dishwasher was more work than doing the washing up by hand as it did´t clean well at all so we gave up on it. - like most pools in France this one also had an alarm which was very difficult to suss out until we dared to jump in whithout, presumably, turning it off. It probably wasn´t working which was fine for us as we are all good swimmers but for children it would be quite dangerous. Despite the above we had a great time as the place is really nice and the location is wonderful if you want absolute relaxation and peace and quiet. A few improvements on the equipment and making sure that there is always running water would make it perfect.

Communication très facile avec le propriétaire. Nous avons du changer nos dates et cela s'est deroulé sans problème. la piscine un peu froide mais nous étions fin septembre. la maison est très calme un peu isolée mai entourée de ces magnifiques villages du Lubéron. très bon séjour.

Un super séjour en amies. L’hébergement est très beau et décoré avec goût. Gordes est assez proche. Juste une déception par rapport à la description qui mentionnait un bain à remous.

Hyggeligt sted. Dog er det lidt slidt. Wife og TV virkede ikke under vores ophold, hvorfor der ikke ingen mobil dækning var. Ville være rart at vide det, inden ankomst.Køkkenredskaber, knive mv trænger til lidt udskiftning. Der er mange skår i div. ting.Generelt fremstå boligen super hyggeligt og alt virker i køkkenet, badeværelser mv. gode senge som er godt fordelt i huset.Dejligt stille sted, tæt på naturen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans la maison de Christian. Agréable, aérée, nichée au milieu de la végétation, c'est l'endroit idéal pour se retrouver et profiter en famille ou entre amis. Nous avons apprécié particulièrement la belle et grande piscine en cette période estivale ! La communication avec Christian a été fluide et ce dernier s'est rendu disponible pour régler un problème de wifi identifié. La localisation est pratique pour explorer Gordes, Oppedes, les carrières d'Ocre du Roussillon. Nous recommandons !

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.La maison est très agréable, dans un cadre exceptionnel qui permet une réelle détente. La localisation était idéale. Les tarifs proposés sont très intéressants pour la région et avec une prestation très qualitative. La communication avec l’hôte est très facile. Super séjour !

Excellent WE prolonge en famille.

Tres beau Mas provencal, authentique. Emplacement ideal tant pour son calme et sa quietude que pour sa proximite avec les sites touristiques. De beaux volumes et une grande piscine des plus appreciable. Un vaste terrain permettant de garer ses vehicules sans aucun probleme et d’y jouer a làpetanque ou au ballon sans aucun risque. Le BBQ fermé d’exterieur et très appréciable. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit.

Week-end très agréable dans cette sublime maison

Nous avons passé de très bons moments dans la sublime maison de Christian. La maison est parfaitement équipée : chambres tout confort avec deux salles de bain et des lavabos dans chaque chambre, cuisine avec tout ce dont on a besoin. Située proche de Gordes, cela nous a permis de visiter le village en plus de profiter de la piscine. L’arrivée était autonome et Christian était disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions. Merci ! Nous reviendrons et nous recommandons !

Très bel emplacement maison très agréable bien amenagee

Séjour sportif randonnée dans les gorges du Luberon malheureusement limite du fait de la météo, pluie et orage 2 jours sur trois😭 mais tourisme dans les environs pour compenser très belle région séjour très agréable

À éviter

Le descriptif mentionnait une piscine. Nous avons appris qu’elle était en chantier moins d’une semaine avant notre arrivée. Au lieu de la piscine nous aurions eu un trou béant… la conversation fort peu aimable a aussi fait apparaître des doutes sur le chauffage de la maison. Le propriétaire est apparu si désagréable par courriel, répondant tardivement quand il s’agissait d’annoncer des changements défavorables et rapidement quand il fallait bloquer la réservation… nous n’y sommes pas allés! A notre avis, un propriétaire à éviter!

Je suis désolé de l'indisponibilité de la piscine durant votre séjour. Elle était en effet encore en travaux de remplacement du revêtement, qui se sont achevés le 15/5 avec 2 semaines de retard à cause des intempéries. J'espère que vous pourrez venir une autre fois et profiter du bassin rénové.
