Absolutely lovely!
The apartment was wonderful! It was a lot larger than I imagined, with two double beds and three single beds. The bathroom was modern and the shower was very powerful. If I were to come back to Rome I would definitely stay in the apartment again, it was worth every penny, and the balcony just tops it off! Lovely and clean, with everything you could need. Close to the Metro, supermarket and a Mcdonalds!

Perfect apartment to stay in rome...
We just came back from our 4 day holiday in silvia's apartment. We are group of 5 including a 4 years old. Silvia provided biscuits, milk and italian christmas cake (i think) when we arrived which we realky appreciated.I must say this apartment exceed my expections, the aprtment is so quiet and very very safe because u need to go through 2 different doors before you reached your aprtment,so outsiders wont be able to come inside because you need a key,big rooms, plenty of beds and very clean. This apartment got everything we need, from all the pots, pans, plates, cups, extra pillows, loads of towels, and alot of toys, this apartment will be perfect for the family with small kids.the apartment is located in the main town center so everything we need is just a walking distance. The bus stop is literally just 3 minutes walk from the apartment, theres a minnie grocerecy just 5 minutes walk from the aprtmebt which is very handy because the shop is open even christmas and boxing day,but before you buy anything try to check all the caninets in the kichen first cos silvia got almost everything in there like coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, oil, spices like peppers, chillie, salt and many more.the main market is like 15 minurtes walk from the aprtment. st peter basilica is just 30 minutes walk from the aprtment.silvia respond veryquickly to all my questions while we are there. Just a top tip if its ur first tym to travel in rome and planning to see all the tourist attractions, take a map with you,you can asked the owner of the apartment but in our case we got our map from tge colleseum in the information desk, the map will clearly show you where excactly the tourist spot is ,so u can maximize your time by going in one place and be able to go the nearest tourist spot without being lost or withoust asking.

An elegant apartment in the centre of Rome
With my wife and daughter, I stayed in the apartment for 5 nights. The flat was lovely with everything we needed from coffee makers to towels exactly as promised. The building is pretty and has a lift. It's tucked away in a quiet street, but just 50 metres from a main road with direct buses to the likes of the Forum and Colosseum. It's just 5 minutes walk down the road to the train station and just over 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. Silvia was the perfect hostess, sending us really useful guides in advance and keeping a wide range of guides in the apartment. There was a transport strike on the day we left and Silvia came round the day before and spent time ordering us a taxi and making sure we would get to the airport in time. The apartment is large and tastefully decorated, with air conditioning and WiFi and we are hoping to stay there again really soon; Ireland is cold in November and Rome is fabulous. We had a great holiday. Thanks Sylvia!

Great apartment and so convenient
My wife and I had a wonderful 7 nights stay. It's location is ideal - we could walk to the Vatican (stopping for coffee on the way) or jumping on 1 of the many busses into the city. The apartment was as described - very clean and well equipped. The service on arrival was excellent even though we arrived later than expected due to "sat-nav" issues and on street parking wasn't a big problem. Many shops and restaurants nearby - everything you could possibly need. We hope to use this apartment next time we visit Rome and would recommend others to use it as well

Clean, quiet, only a mile from Vatican, air conditioned, good value and owner very helpful
Silvia was very helpful with suggestions. She helped us with organising taxi transport to and from airport. We were able to leave our luggage with her on day of departure as we were not leaving till early evening. Silvia kindly provided us with lunch on arrival and complimentary breakfast of milk, juice and biscuits. There were staple cooking ingredients including tea, coffee, sugar, oil etc. The flat was for 6 but there were only 3 of us, ample room. It was clean and facilities were sufficient if you wanted to cook. There are places to eat (Chinese restaurant and Pizza, they were very reasonable) locally and plenty to choose from if you want to go further. It is away from the crowds and tourists and we were able to experience some aspects of typical Roman living. Silvia was available and came back with our queries promptly. We felt safe and it is close to shops and local buses. We would recommend this property to our family and friends. If staying for 3 or more days, the Roma pass is good value. If not, it took us 20-30 minutes to walk to St Peter's Square. You can get individual bus tickets of 1.5 E to travel 100 minutes once the ticket passed through the machine. The buses run frequently into the city. Roma was hot and crowded, so timing of visit may be helpful. Grazie Silvia. Arrivederci, Tian, Douglas and Mei from Oxfordshire

Clean/Tidy and very baby friendly
Silvia and her sister were true darlings. I had traveled with my toddler who was very happy and comfortable in the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. Silvia ensured that she kept some supplies for us to eat since we were abit lost locating the apartment. Overall was a great fun filled holiday and pleasant stay...

Thank you Silvia - great apt, location & price!
Myself, my husband and our two children (12 & 16) have just returned from a 4 night break in Silvia's apartment. We were met on arrival by Roberta who went through all the details of the accommodation (keys, gas, wifi etc.) and answered our questions. The apartment was extremely well equipped and exactly as described. Even cling film, dishwasher tablets and other useful items were left in the kitchen and shower gel and hand wash in the bathroom! The shower was great and hot water and towels plentiful. On our last day Silvia was kind enough to store our suitcases at her nearby apartment so that we could enjoy our final day unencumbered by luggage. She also helped us to arrange our airport transfer. She did everything she could to help us enjoy our stay. During the booking process, in the run up to our stay and whilst we were there she was always on hand and very responsive to e-mails etc. She never made us feel like a nuisance and did everything in her power to help us to have a great trip. This is a lovely apartment in a very convenient location to explore Rome on foot or by bus. The bus stop was very convenient for the apartment but the infrequency of the buses (beyond Silvia's control!) meant that it took the same time for us to walk (20 mins to the Vatican, 50 mins to the Piazza Navona). The weather was lovely and the walk very pleasant. There is a very convenient supermarket, tabac (for bus tickets), ice cream shop an restaurants. I really would recommend this apartment to anyone! Thank you Silvia!

Complete agreement with all the previous excellent reviews.
What can I add? The flat is attractive, comfortable, well-situated and sparkling clean. Silvia is very friendly and helpful. Perhaps I should mention the internet connection, if no-one else has - it is excellent, better than the one we have at home. And the washing facilities - there's a machine, a drying rack with pegs, an iron and an ironing board - perhaps next time we come, we'll bring cabin baggage only! Looking forward already to our next visit.

Very homely, great location near the Vatican!
We recently stayed in this very homely and clean apartment for a week. There were lots of local amenities and Silvia was very helpful in the weeks running up to our arrival answering our many questions and organising taxis for us. Rome offers many attractions to see, and this apartment is in a good location to visit them, with only short walks to the bus stops and metro. There is a lovely balcony which is great for having breakfast on in the mornings! and the air con facility for cooling off after a great day out in the Italian sun! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone visiting rome!!

Home from Home - wonderful
On arrival we were met by the delightful Roberta who gave us a tour of the apartment and answered all the questions we had about Rome. The apartment was clean, spacious, well appointed and it matched the listing. Silvia, the host, had provided tea, coffee, milk and biscuits for our arrival which was most appreciated. There were many other thoughtful touches such as, cooking condiments, washing up liquid, hand wash, shower gel and lots of towels which all added to the feeling of a 'home from home'. My 10 month old daughter was kept enthralled by the sheer number of toys provided as well as the generous collection of books. Two of the group also picked up a good read from the book collection (titles in italian and english). We had a lovely time in Rome and this apartment played a huge role in that. We are certain that we will use it again on our return to Rome and recommend it to family and friends.

Lovely apartment
A very clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need. I was amazed at how spacious it was and Silvia was really helpful by arranging a taxi to pick us up and take us to the airport. It's close to most attractions and we were able to walk to St.Peter's square in 20 minutes. There are great bus links to the Colosseum and the all day transport ticket which you can buy from the tobacconist shops for 6 euros was excellent value. I highly recommend this apartment for those wanting to go sightseeing all day and relax in the evening.

Comfortable & Secure Apartment
The apartment is spacious and located within easy walking distance of Vatican and the old centre. Can recommend it for people who do not want to be in city centre at night.

Wonderful apartment
You will NOT regret choosing this apartment, Silvio and her family were amazing and we were totally satisfied with all aspects. Being out of the main centre is a real advantage - you will be living with nationals not tourists and everything you need is in the apartment. Its clean, spacious and well connected with local buses. Cheap frequent travel and lovely local cafe with cheap quality coffee and pastries. Be careful as pick pockets are there - i had my ipad stolen at the Collesuem but Silvio was more than helpful, even offered to drive us to the Police Station. Book this place NOW, I would go back.

Spacious apartment
Spacious, comfortable and well-equipped apartment in modern block in residential area of Rome. 20 mins walk to the Vatican. Good bus links to central Rome. Not a picturesque location but outweighed by convenience and facilities. There are good supermarkets and a fantastic Sardinian restaurant within a couple of minutes walk. Would recommend for a sightseeing holiday in Rome. Very good communications from owner. We were greeted by her sister and her mother arranged a taxi to the station on the last morning.

Home from Home!
The location of the apartment is in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the Vatican and St Peters Square. If you do not wish to walk, there are numerous bus stops nearby and the metro, which take you to all the main attractions in Rome. We were welcomed by the owners as we arrived and shown how to use the appliances in the apartment, which was spacious, clean and well maintained. The balcony was great to sit on and have breakfast and an evening meal. We would recommend the apartment to our friends and family and are planning to go back there on our next trip to Rome.

Top Marks all round
This is a fabulous apartment in a great location. It is a 4th floor apartment but has a reliable lift so no worries. It was absolutely spotless and catered brilliantly for a couple, an elderly father and 2 teenagers for a weeks stay in Rome. A TV, Iron, Hairdryer - you want it - it has it! The owners provided for everything you could wish for and made our stay very comfortable. (Thank you for cake, milk and cereal for our first breakfast!) The public transport into the City was very straightforward using the 571 and 916 buses both in and out. The apartment is surrounded by places to eat and drink, and we recommend the Chinese downstairs (I know, Chinese in Italy but it is fantastic and very very reasonable) and the Surfers Riptide Bar around the corner. (Turn left, left and left - can't miss it!) Local market 5 minute walk down the main road for all fruit, veg, etc. with a great atmosphere and cashpoint at the end of the road. Home from home! Thank you Silvia for making out stay so good and we hope to visit again!

6 Nations Rugby Weekend
My husband and I at this apartment with another couple as the men were going to the 6 nations game between Italy and England. It proved an ideal choice as the Olympic Park where the rugby was played was easily accessible, 1 bus ride and a short walk away. We found the apartment clean and well maintained with all the necessary equipment to make our stay comfortable. The owner Sylvia was helpful and met us on arrival, we texted her a couple of times over the weekend to ask for advise and she went out her way to answer our queries. Whilst the men were at the rugby us girls went on a Food Tour organised by walking tours of Rome, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to others, lots of tasting of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, cheeses and ending up in a restruant making and then eating your own pizza! Rome was very busy and it was nice to be a bus ride from the main tourist area in a quieter part of town. More public transport information would have helped for example the frequency of buses displayed at the bus stops but otherwise we could not fault our weekend and would definitely recommend this apartment ot others.

Weekend in Rome
We stayed in this apartment for our entire stay in Rome and were so pleased with it. There were four of us in total (two couples) and it was a really spacious apartment. there was sleeping arrangements for kids (bunk beds) and another pull out bed for another couple, although this is in the communal area - but lots of space. There are all the amenities including washing machine and dishwasher, as well as everything you need to cook your own hearty meal. There are two supermarkets near by (2 min walk) and you can get everything you need. If you go off exploring then there is the main bus route stop, outside the apartment and you can just jump on a number of buses to get into the centre of Rome in minutes. We had the Omnia and Roma pass, which we would recommend,(so no queues and cheaper than buying individual passes) so travel and attractions were all included and this made it even easier to travel. Overall a great holiday and great apartment.

Spacious appartment near St Peter's
This is a spacious, quiet, and very well equipped apartment. The main sites are a short bus ride away from just outside. As well as this, the 5 buses nearby (with a little study and the appropriate transport ticket - e.g. there are passes which give unlimited journeys within a time frame on buses, trains, and metro) give very easy access to all parts of Rome. Very pleasant balcony. Highly recommended.

Home from home
I stayed in this apartment with my partner and 3 children for a week in July. The apartment really feels like home from home, it is very comfortable and "homely", extremely well equipped, can easily sleep up to eight adults. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly and even left us some welcome breakfast on arrival! The apartment's location was perfect, we took the easy walk through the nearby Vatican City and into the beautiful old town nearly every day. Transport is also superb and if you don't fancy a walk, catch a local bus from outside the apartment into the centre. Or a local train (station very close to the apartment) will take you to the seaside for 1.5 Euro!

"The Apartment was everything we expected. Roomy, spotless and well equipped. There are plenty of facilities nearby: restaurants, takeaways, bars and supermarkets. Transport is easy with frequent buses heading into the centre of Rome at all hours, and the Metro is only a 15 minute walk. Sylvia , the owner, could not have been more helpful: Nothing was too much trouble and every query was answered immediately. Rome itself is wonderful, I intend to return as soon as possible, and would definitely choose to return to this apartment if it were available."
