The hosts were very welcoming and gave a good introduction to the property. The house is spacious and well equipped. The garden is lovely and has a good range of comfortable outdoor furniture. There is easy access to the beach, cycle paths and the village centre, with restaurants, shops and market is a short walk away.

Lovely house in great setting

We spent two weeks with our two children (13 and 10 years old) in this lovely house which is situated amidst a beautiful and very well-maintained garden. The owners live in the house next door and are a great source of information about the island in general and Bois-Plage-en-Ré in particular. They are wonderful hosts and we very much enjoyed getting to know them. But they will respect your privacy if you do not want to interact with them. The house is located about a ten-minute walk (or five-minute bicycle ride) away from the center of Bois-Plage-en-Ré where restaurants, bars, a post office, a pharmacy, a newsstand, the daily market and a grocery store (Carrefour Contact) can be found. The distance to some of the best sandy beaches (busy ones or quiet ones) on the island is about 10 minutes by bike. The house itself is well designed and styled, is well equipped and the living/dining room is light-flooded due to the glass door front opening onto the lovely patio. The patio is equipped with lounge chairs, a large table and two parasols. One can hear the nearby road traffic, but not to the extent that it bothered us in any way. Summing it all up, we can strongly recommend renting this lovely house. We look forward to returning soon.

Eine tolle, großzügige Unterkunft mit großartiger Lage. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Jungs (14,26) konnten entspannt auf der Empore im Wohnzimmer schlafen.

Très bon séjour

Maison très agréable. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse pour y déjeuner confortablement. Proche de la ville et de la plage. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par nos hotes qui ont été très disponibles pour nous. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Maison très agréable située à proximité des plages du gros jonc et pas des bœufs et idéale pour une famille avec jeunes enfants. Les extérieurs sont très bien aménagés avec une vaste terrasse et un jardin très bien entretenu, le tout au calme ! Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse des propriétaires avec un service d’huîtres fraîchement récoltées, ouvertes et livrées à domicile !

Wie zuhause ...

Schon die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit - wohnen nebenan, sind aber völlig "unsichtbar", wenn man für sich sein will. Das Haus liegt in einem gepflegten Garten - man spürt, dass er mit Liebe gestaltet ist. Das Haus ist geräumig, mit Geschmack eingerichtet, und enthält alles, was man für einen Ferienaufenthalt braucht. Zu empfehlen ist der täglich stattfindende Markt in Bois-Plage mit einer Vielzahl an Spezialitäten, die uns das Selbst-Kochen komplett ersparten. Zu empfehlen ist die Nutzung von Fahrrädern auf der Insel - über die Gastgeben konnten wir uns Räder im Ort mit einem speziellen Rabatt leihen.

Séjour dépaysant

Très bon séjour, des hôtes charmants et passionnés avec qui il fait bon partager

La maison est parfaite. le seul bémol est qu'il n'y a qu'un seul toilette, pour 4 ca va , mais pour 6 personnes, cela me semble insuffisant. le jardin est ravissant, la maison spacieuse et très bien située.

Le charme de l’ Ile de Ré

Belle maison, lieu idéal et accueil chaleureux

Une belle maison lumineuse et meublée avec style. La terrasse et le jardin sont magnifiques et on peut y manger et se détendre tranquillement. Accès facile à la plage et au village (environ 10 minutes à pied). La plage est énorme et impressionnante. Dans le village il y a un grand marché quotidien et on trouve tous les commerces qu’il faut: supermarché, boulangerie, bureau de poste, pharmacie, cafés restaurants etc. C’est facile à visiter, en bus (1€) ou à vélo, les autres charmants villages de l’île. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et ils nous ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux. Ils ont fait de leur mieux pour s’assurer que nous passions des vacances merveilleuses. Merci Françoise et René-Paul. Nous y retournerons. A beautiful house stylishly furnished with a fantastic patio and garden where you can eat and relax in peace. The beach and village are close by (about 10 mins walk) The beach is huge and impressive. In the village you will find a brilliant daily market and all the shops you need: supermarket, bakers, post office, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants etc. It’s easy to visit the other gorgeous villages on the island by bus (1€0 or by bike. The owners are really lovely and gave us a very warm welcome. They did all they could to make sure that we had a fabulous holiday. Thank you, Françoise and Rene-Paul. We will be back.
