6 BR, 5 BA sleeps 12! Private dock on canal. Steps from beach! Golf cart too!

We have a spacious home with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms total in Treetops. The main level kitchen has recently been renovated to optimize counter space and to include brand new appliances. The ground level of the home is accessed through outside stairs to include a 2nd kitchen, dining area, living room and 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. We have 2 screened porches on the back side of the house overlooking the canal with AMPLE indoor and outdoor dining areas for families who are ready to CHILL! We seat 10 at a table on the main level inside with another 3 at the bar and a table that seats 6 on the upper screened porch next to the swing. Downstairs the dining room seats 8 with 4 more on the lower screened porch. We have 2 master bedrooms upstairs with king beds, a twin bedroom, and a queen. We just completely renovated all of the bathrooms upstairs at the house with updated fixtures and countertops and cabinets as well as make-up mirrors that light up with just a touch! Downstairs there is a set of bunk beds in 1 bedroom and a queen in the other. The two front bedrooms upstairs open to the front porch for a quiet place to sit and the two back bedrooms overlook the private dock and canal. You can dock a boat at our dock 24/7 and kayaks are easily launched from there as well. A 4-seater golf cart comes with the rental as well. We just require you to reserve the golf cart and they will happily deliver it to you and charge us for it. We have a full size gas grill and TVs in the living areas as well as 3 bedrooms on the main level. We have 2 full sized refrigerators so that you have plenty of room for food/drinks. For your convenience, we have a crockpot for the house and a Keurig for each kitchen. We also have a regular carafe coffee maker in both kitchens. We have beautiful beach decor throughout the home. This is a quiet setting as it sits off the road somewhat which also allows for ample parking and yet you are steps away from all of the activities at the Beach Club, the tennis courts, and most importantly, the BEACH! We are able to get as many amenity cards as you need for all guests over 13 years of age who would like to eat at the restaurants, play golf or tennis on the island, swim in the pools, or rent equipment on Fripp. These are an extra charge to the renter as we charge you what the island charges us. For renters who would like to purchase amenity cards, there is a new resort fee that will be added to your rental rate. This will be 12.8% of your rental fee, and this is the case for the entire island. We would love for you to come and enjoy Treetops!

This rental is in an excellent location being right across the street to an easy beach access and being mid island. The house was clean and roomy for our family of 10. The basement is a great area all to itself, but renters need to take note that it is not accessible from the top level. The house has its own dock, a grill, and we had no issue with having the golf cart delivered before we arrived. There are a few things that could be improved to help make the stay better—there was only 1 kitchen dishcloth towel, some worn kitchenware that needs replacing, and little to no liquid soap in the bathroom pump containers. These were minor but if staying a whole week could be aggravating. Plenty of parking was a plus. The owner was readily available and sent great instructions.

Family trip to Fripp island

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Treetops. Communication with the owner was wonderful. You can't ask for a better location - an easy walk to beach access, a few doors down from the adult pool, has its own dock for fishing and crabbing on the canal, the trees make it feel like a secluded hideaway. We were a group of all adults (18 - 70) and had a delightful time.

Annual Family Trip

Our stay at Treetops was awesome! We come to Fripp every year in October with a large family. This home fit our family perfectly! Love the downstairs option for additional space. We will definitely be back and are hopeful we can stay again for our week next year. Wonderful vacation!

The house and the location was wonderful. The layout made it easy for the eight of us to interact and still relax. We had some older "kids" staying with us and the split level house with multiple entertainment areas provided relaxation for all! We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the deck overlooking the canal. The deck was in the tree tops and no houses across the way made it seem secluded. We enjoyed watching for wildlife, fishing off the canal, walking across the way to beautiful beach, and riding carts to the pool. This was a wonderful vacation!

Perfect in every way.

Amazing house and location. All of the kids caught fish on the dock behind the house, and beach access right across the street. House was perfect an more than enough room for 8 adults and 6 children. The two kitchens and living area provided room to spread out and get some quiet time. My favorite spot was the back screened in porch. Michelle was an amazing and responsive host who went WAY above and beyond to make our visit a success.

Wonderful week at Fripp!

My family had a wonderful week in the Treetops at Fripp! We had two 1 year olds, two 5 year olds and 6 adults, and Treetops was the perfect match for our family. We loved the beach, and the golf cart that was included in the rental helped us get there even though the beach was right across the street. We really liked that the pool was within walking distance when the 5 year olds wanted to swim, but the golf cart was being used elsewhere. We enjoyed both back porches. The kids loved coming nose to nose with the visiting deer through the screen on the porch. The living area was really comfortable and is open to the kitchen, so we all could be together whatever area we were in. Michelle was very responsive and helpful when we had a couple of questions. Overall, just a great week and a great place to stay!!!

Treetops Getaway

This is a wonderful cottage on the canal. Only problems we had was the internet and the washer and dryer. The internet has not been upgraded to the new Hargray high speed internet. It was so poor, I had to use my own hotspot at times. The other real issue was the washer and dryer located in the downstairs room. You had to exit the upstairs and enter the locked downstairs to use the washer and dryer.

Beauty & Location all in ONE!

This was such an excellent spot! Fripp never disappoints, however, Treetops put it over the top!! The location of this house and the long private driveway off of the main road gave us such easy access while also giving us privacy and plenty of space to park our cars and carts! Owner communication was absolutely incredible. Great space to hose kiddos and gear off downstairs in the carport— we loved the dock and all the birds and little crabs. The beach was full of shells, dolphin, and starfish. We had lots of small people with us and going back and forth for naps and bedtimes was so easy in this spot! We were very aware of the room layout before arrival and we loved having the extra kitchen downstairs! We mostly cooked in, so having the extra fridge and storage space for both of our families was GREAT! Cannot say enough about all the hang out spots. Book it right away, we will definitely be back!

Wonderful Rental

We had a great stay! The location of this house was perfect - the beach boardwalk was right across the street, the beach club was an easy walk and/or very quick golf cart ride, and everything else was close as well. It was our first time on Fripp, and the house couldn't have been more centrally located. We had 10 adults and one toddler. The separate basement housing was perfect for 2 couples and then the rest of us were in the main house, including our 2 year old. The main living area, which is open to the kitchen, was spacious and perfect for hanging out, eating, etc. We also loved the upstairs screen porch! Only thing I want to make sure families with young children know before booking the house is that the 2 bedrooms, hang out area and kitchen downstairs are only accessible by going outside first, so you wouldn't want young children to sleep down there alone. But again, plenty of sleeping room upstairs! Michelle is incredibly accommodating and responded to all questions super quickly. We loved our stay at Treetops and would definitely rent again!

Why they chose this property

We visited Fripp for the first time several summers ago and we fell in love with it so much that we decided to buy a place on the island that we could visit when we weren't renting it and we have loved it!!

What makes this property unique

I absolutely love having the private dock in the backyard. It's so peaceful and the sunsets are just stunning. There are a few places to get away in the home as well to read and have some solitude. Two of the bedrooms have access to the spacious front porch with chairs for relaxing with a morning cup of coffee. The two screened porches on the back of the house are so cozy and they offer comfortable seating and a beautiful view! This house is perfect for a family and maybe even two families as there are 2 kitchens! The ground level of the house offers privacy as it is only accessed through outside stairs. Almost everything in the home is brand new! We are within walking distance to all of the action on the island. The main olympic-sized pool is almost right across the street, which is wonderful for traveling with small children. Just so convenient. Also the house is set back a very good distance from the main road, and so we don't worry about the children getting too close to the road.
