A south facing fully air conditioned villa with lovely sea views and a two minute walk to a sandy beach, two restaurants, a mini-market with all the essentials and a water sport centre.
All bedrooms are on the first floor facing the sea with all of the ground floor being open space for living and dining. There are comfortable sofas, flat screen TV and indoor dining table for up to 8. Kitchen is semi open plan and is fully equipped with electric oven, electric hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Clothes washer+dryer are housed in a small utility room upstairs.
The kitchen, living and dining areas all open on to a large, very sunny terrace - with a teak dining table and chairs to seat up to eight people. Pool is 6m x 4.5m and is surrounded by a teak decking with plenty of room for sunbathing.

Everything we needed and more

On arrival, we were met by the owners representative who communicated with us throughout our journey down, ensuring he was there promptly on our arrival. He showed us around the property, which was very spacious, very clean, well-proportioned and had fantastic views of the sea. The property was located a few minutes’ walk from the beach and also the local shop, bar and restaurants. The upper bedrooms all had sea views with three of the rooms having access to the balcony. The outside seating area had an awning which proved very helpful with the midday sun. The pool, although on the smaller side, proved to be very popular with the children. Overall, a lovely villa and one which we would happily return to.

The location, and amount of space was great. Unfortunately, the kitchen was quite worn, and trash bin area under sink filthy. Bedding and linens were just average. The owner and property manager need to be more clear re: deposit agreement. Upon arrival, we had 12 in our party, instead of 9. there was no actual contract signed, just "arrival info" which never stipulated extra cost,etc The property manager never mentioned this as an issue. But after returning home, we were told the security deposit will not be returned due to extra people and leaving dishes in the sink!(this is routine cleaning) Unbelievable. We have stayed at several luxury properties in France, and never had this issue. What a hassle - now we have to submit a complaint to Home away rental guarantee re: deposit loss . Amy/Neec

This party have posted a mediocre review because they have had a deposit deduction. I will deal with their points in turn. The kitchen is very modern and extremely well equipped and could never be described as 'worn'. The trash bin may have been dirty but that's the point of a trash bin. The bed linen is all good quality linen. We have never had a compaint about this. As the reviewer admits, they showed up with 12 people when they had booked for 9. Our villa sleeps a maximum of 10 and we had actually given them a discount on the price for 10 people. They asked our villa manager on arrival if they could have additional bed linen for the inflatable double matresses which they had brought with them. Six hours after they were due to arrive they called our manager to say they were lost about 25km from the villa. He went to find them and guided their convoy back to the villa. At their checkout they wanted to leave at 3am. Our terms and conditions (which they received) stated that there would be a charge for extra people and for out of hours arrivals and departures. We have to pay our villa manager for these additional charges and simply passed them on to the group. Following their departure it was discovered that a coffee machine was missing (presumed broken and disposed of) and several beach towels were also missing. They left all five bathrooms, the kitchen and the beds in such an appalling state that we had to pay for additional cleaning costs. Throughout their stay they were rude and dissmisive when dealing with our villa manger. The deposit deduction which was made comes nowhere near to compensating us for the losses/additional costs resulting from their stay.

Ce n’est pas une villa de « luxe »

Dommage trop de choses vétustes mal entretenues moisissures et surtout sale la propreté n’est pas un luxe , portail qui se ferme pas volet manquant qui fonctionne pas finitions déplorables. Mobilier extérieur bas de gamme et cassé pas de sécurité piscine, beaucoup de réparations à prévoir.

When you selected our property you had a chance to look at the photos and read the reviews - the villa is exactly as it is described on the website. My announcement says:"Villa at Antheor - Stunning Esterel views, steps from the beach, pool", "super villa" - this is exactly what it is! At least this is how it appears on the original listing at VRBO in English. You asked me to reduce the price to accommodate your budget, which I did - perhaps, the level of luxury that you require is outside of this price range? Once again, I am sorry about your experience - most guests enjoy the beach, the mountains, bringing families together and make the most of their vacation. Superbe lieux

Tout est bien pour passer un bon séjour. La maison, la piscine, le lieux geographique pour les randonnées, la vue sur la mer depuis les chambres. Un seul petit bemol, les volets au premier étage, des rideaux occultants permettraient de palier le non fonctionnement des volets roulants.

Perfekter Ort für Entspannung und Aktivitäten

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in Antheor sehr genossen: Das Haus von Olga hat alles (und mehr) was man sich wünschen kann und ist (noch) schöner als die Fotos vermuten lassen: Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein Bad, wir haben sehr bequem geschlafen und obwohl 3 von 4 Schlafzimmern verdunkelt werden können, haben wir die Rollos oben gelassen um zu jeder Zeit die phantastische Aussicht zu genießen. Die Klimaanlage brachte die Zimmer auf angenehme Schlaftemperatur. Die Küche war gut eingerichtet und zusammen mit dem Gasgrill auf der Terrasse haben wir schnelle leckere Mahlzeiten gekocht. Der Pool draußen war perfekt um sich abzukühlen doch auch der Weg zum Meer war kurz, so dass wir unsere SUPs aufgepustet gelassen haben und immer mal schnell zum Meer gelaufen sind. In 5 Minuten Entfernung zu Fuß gab es Baguette und eine Snackbar für mittags, in weniger als 10 Minuten ist man am Bahnhof von wo aus man in 30 min Cannes ist. Für uns die perfekte Mischung aus Entspannung und Aktivitäten!

L’annonce correspond à l’offre. La maison est spacieuse et très confortable. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La vue est magnifique. L’espace extérieur est spacieux, ombragé. La piscine est très agréable. Une plage de sable et une crique de rochers sont chacune à moins de 200m.

belle villa, vue superbe

La villa est bien équipée et fidèle à la description, avec même des choses en plus. La vue depuis la chambre parentale est inoubliable, on entend le clapotis de la mer depuis le lit, c'est un vrai luxe. La proximité de la plage est très appréciable. Seul bémol : aucun commerce accessible sans voiture, à l'exception de la supérette du camping très sommaire. Accueil sympa et efficace.

Isabelle, merci pour vos commentaires. Je suis désolée si vous n’avez pas trouvé la supérette près du viaduct a 100 m de la villa. Ils ont le pain frais pendant toute la journée et les épiceries principaux nécessaires (sauf viandes et poissons). La supérette était certainement ouverte avant votre arrivée et c’est toujours très pratique pour des nécessités quotidiennes. Et il y a plus de magasins à Agay à 3 km. Pour la bruit - oui, il peut être un peut bruyant pendant la haute saison, mais c’est le prix pour être près de la mer - c’est comme ça partout à Côte D’Azur. Perfect house in a perfect spot

We loved this house, with stunning views, a big deck and pool area, easy access to outdoor eating on the patio, a quick 5 minute walk to the beach, a cozy living room and functional kitchen, AC and bathrooms in each bedroom. It truly met all of our requirements, and was very cozy!

Nice villa. Very close to the beach, with AC.

This villa is located very near to the coast in Antheor (part of St.Raphael). A couple of minutes walk from the villa is a sandy beach where you can swim, rent peddelas and canoes. All the 4 bedrooms in the villa have AC and an own bathroom. Three of these bedrooms have access to a balcony from which you can see the sea. The living room and kitchen are located on the ground floor. From the ground floor you can walk to the garden and the swimming pool. The swimming pool is not very large, but large enough to cool down.

The best villa on the Cote D’azur

An excellent villa located close to everything, meters away from the beach, a mini supermarket and 2 good restaurants. The villa is well equipped, spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, with access to balcony, nice view on the Mediterranean, the villa is very clean with swimming pool. I will defiantly comeback. I recommend it 100%.

Beautiful property in beautiful location.

The property is very close to the water. It’s was very comfortable for the 6 of us. Well equiped kitchen, charcoal BBQ and laundry facilities etc. Good air conditioning for the hot days. We were away from everything - but only a quick drive to St Ralphael, Cannes etc. when we wanted. Also very helpful owners that made our stay enjoyable. Thank you

Fantastic family villa

A beautiful drive along the coast from Cannes to the villa in Antheor. On our arrival a warm welcome with french toast and a bottle of french wine in the kitchen. A friendly agent showing us around in the villa; each bedroom has a separate bathroom and two have marvellous view on the bay with sailing boats, helicopters and palmtrees. We hiked, snorkled and biked through the forest. We cooked daily our own meal in a beautiful kitchen. Every day sunbathing, reading a book and drinking cocktails at the swimming pool. The ocean was only a few minutes walk away. In the morning the kids walked to the nearby camping to get our daily fresh bread. A daytrip to Cannes is also a must to pay a visit to the casino and gaze at the yachts in the bay. We just had a fantastic holiday. A place to go back to.

Excellent stay for families. This is not modern (at least 20 years) hous with unusual and attracive architecture, very specific detail - instead of dull and boring plastic windows here you will find classic wooden window frames. The hous is full of modern equipment: kitchen is compleet and clean, air conditioning in all rooms sufficient, wifi of good power (online games on several dievices and movie sumultaneosly). Indoor and outside spaces are vell prepared for all kinds of activites, from lasy meal to active games in swimming pool or ground, theare are even a place for pétanque with compleet set of balls. Privacy is exceptional: the street is a branch of costal road to the sea, there are only few hoses on the street, two of which are empty, street ends a private rocky bay with exceptional conditions for snorkeling. In the back of the place is Esterel reserve, where we met (15 minutes driving) the family of wild boar and two foxes, our chidren regulary fed them with delight. Thanks to owner and to maintanence team!

Great place for family vacation

We had a fantastic 2 weeks' vacation at Villa Irene with our friends - we were 7 people - 4 adults and 3 kids (9-15 yrs. old). My older son joined us with his girlfriend for the first week in the studio – perfect arrangement. Villa Irene is seating 40 meters from the sea (1 min walk, semi-private rock), and 150 m from a beach. The bedrooms are great, all of them facing the sea and have a balcony with a great view. The house is modern, have a lot of space, the kitchen is well-equipped with all-you-need, the bathrooms are really state of the art, high-speed internet, and the pool is very nice. The location is unbeatable - Antheor is a perfect place for vacation - you can have a rest , go to day trips in Provence, or enjoy the nearby cities (Cannes, Nice, and Saint Raphael) for shopping and culture. You can use a car, or the train - which is 7 min walk for the Villa. At Agay beach - 5 min drive- we enjoyed water sports such as wind surfing. Pierre-Jean is the local manager and he is very nice and very cooperative. The only criticism –While all bedrooms have air-conditioning - the studio is without air-conditioning, and we were not aware that this is the case. It is not in the description in the HomeAway site. In summary - we recommend on Villa Irene without hesitations, and hopefully returning for another visit in the future.
