About this property
18th century family house with large garden
House dedicated to family stays preferably Youth groups are not allowed. Thank you for your understanding. We appreciate receiving a short note about you at the time of booking (reason for stay, family composition, age of children)
Tastefully decorated. In the heart of a town of art and history. At 12km from D-Days beaches. Very near from the great market, every friday morning Nice fireplace
Family house, ideally located in a city of art and history in a very quiet street and close to all shops. Large covered terrace overlooking a garden enclosed by stone walls which allows the summer to live outside. In winter the house is sunny and well heated. A large fireplace is also very pleasant. There is a large selection of books in the library (especially on the region). The living room with its 18th century woodwork allows you to watch TV or DVDs in an intimate space. The location of Valognes in the heart of the peninsula allows you to reach the three coasts The east coast with the landing beaches and its remarkable villages (Barfleur and Saint Vast la Hougue), the west coast, its large sandy beaches and its harbors and La Hague or the little Ireland ! For those who love architecture, castles and manors are numerous in the Norman bocage. Valognes is also called "the little Norman Versailles". The local products are most often organically grown.
