La Maison de la Mer - Holiday house in Normandy

Away from the stresses of everyday life, nestled in a quiet hamlet, this 200-year-old family home awaits you.

At 200 meters from the wild beaches of the Channel, you will be welcomed in a serene setting where the fire of the old fireplace responds gently to the moan of the wind.

Furnished very comfortably, this house will accommodate two families of five people.

This large old granite house has been fully restored with respect for its authenticity. At the front of the house, a courtyard with closed walls, decorated with beautiful plants can feel at home from the door.

The hamlet of Cosqueville is located by the sea in Lower Normandy in Cotentin. The house is 200 meters from a beautiful sandy beach. The coastal road (D116) leads to Cherbourg (20 km) in the west and the typical port of Barfleur (12 km) to the east. She will enchant you with her views of marine light. The nearest train stations are Cherbourg and Valognes.

Perfect place to rest and enjoy in a beautiful setting

Walking distance to the beach, friendly neighbors, quiet surrounding, stunning nature and picturesque small villages. The house was warmly welcoming us and gave us the impression of being part of the family for a while; with many personal items, charming rooms and a perfect garden that all breathed the atmosphere of many lovely family holidays spent here.

L'hôte était accueillant, très bel endroit avec beaucoup de charme. Le gîte est très bien équipé. Juste un petit bémol pour le manque d'isolation ; nous avons eu un peu froid à Noël.

Une belle maison de famille

Excellent séjour dans une vraie maison de famille pleine de charme située dans un hameau calme juste à côté de la plage. Maison très propre et parfaitement équipée. Accueil efficace et sympathique ! La personne responsable de la maison était disponible si nécessaire tout au long de notre séjour. Tous les commerces + un "Carrefour" se trouvent à St Pierre Eglise à 3,5 kms du hameau. A savoir : maison sonore entre le deuxième et le troisième étage + frais annexes (eau, électricité, bois) immédiatement spécifiés par le propriétaire mais qui n'apparaissent pas dans l'annonce Abritel. Nous serons heureux de revenir !

Séjour très agréable

Le soleil était avec nous et nous a permis de profiter du joli jardin privé. Nous avons également beaucoup aimé la maison pleine de caractère. Nous n'avons manqué de rien et pouvons le recommander pour un séjour au calme, très proche de la mer. Très grand merci pour l'accueil chaleureux !

Maison et environnement vraiment agréable. Véranda et jardin très accueillants, déco de bon goût. Très bon accueil mais mauvaise surprise lorsqu'on nous indique qu'il faudra relever les compteurs pour ajouter la consommation du séjour en eau et électricité (à 40 centimes le KWh...), il serait bien de prévenir avant...

Ein wunderschönes altes Steinhaus in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen malerischen Örtchen und verfügt über einen herrlichen Garten und Wintergarten. Perfekt zum Erholen. Das Haus ist alt, aber sehr charmant. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Kosten für Strom und Wasser kommen separat dazu. Bei der Buchung wurde dies auch mitgeteilt, aber ich finde, das sollte fairerweise schon im Inserat stehen. Für eine Woche mit 3 Personen haben wir 80€ bezahlt, und wir waren schon sehr sparsam. Ansonsten alles super, wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit!

Un endroit de rêve

Cette maison est un paradis et la région un vrai rêve ! Sauvage, authentique, préservé....nous ne nous lassons pas d'y retourner et repartons toujours avec un pincement au coeur. Nous reviendrons très vite!!!

Séjour hameau de la mer

Charmante petite maison côtière avre de paix calme proximité immédiate du littoral. Séjour agréable. En.revanche le règlement de l'eau et électricité doit se faire à la fin du séjour Attention aux journées froides les radiateurs sont électriques! Heure de départ non respectée On.nous demande de partir à 10h. Alors que sur le site il est précisé que les départs s'effectuent à 11h. On.nous invite à rester jusqu'à 11h mais on sent bien qu'il faut laisser place à la femme de ménage car la maison est louée de nouveau.
