Good family stay

I’ll start with the great bits, the villa has a wonderful communal balcony which we really enjoyed and the two ladies who looked after us were fantastic and served up some of the best food we had on the trip. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because there was a strong smell of damp in all the bedrooms (possibly only an issue in the rainy season) and a drainage smell in a couple of the bathrooms. Overall the villa was a little tired looking. Worth also knowing that because the pool is covered it does not get warmed up by the sun and our children found it too cold. That said, I’d still say it was good value for money and what we saved on the villa we spent in Cafe del Mar Kamala which is heavenly. (Surin beach is quite dirty and has no developments so while the closest, is not worth heading to)

Thank you for this review. Just to clarify that the damp smell (as explained) is not something we have experienced in the past but most probably due to the timing of your arrival, the rainy season has just stopped and our House manager was away for a couple of weeks prior to your arrival and we believe that a lack of ventilationit was the reason for it. After investigating the matter I am happy to say that all damp/drainage smell have now disappear! Our apologies for the inconveniences. The pool is covered but open on sides and again October not being a hot month in Thailand it is normal to find it a bit fresh...Trust us this pool is heaven on high season! The villa has just been fully renovated last week and is now open for many new arrival in this busy season! We thank you again for your stay and comments. Warm regards

A nice place to relax

We had a great experience. The house was spacious with lots of terrace space. The neighborhood was about 5 minute walk from the main road and 15 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed having several small restaurants, a gym and a few local massage shops nearby. The best part of staying here was Gob. She is the caretaker of the property. She did a great job at keeping the house clean and organized, she was an outstanding cook and we appreciated her help with laundry. Because of her, we were all able to relax and enjoy our time at the house. We all agree (9 people), that we would stay here again.
