Such a beautiful and homely space. Lots of thought and love has gone into making this feel calm and tranquil. There's also a few board games, as well as great wifi connection and a TV. Although we were happier sat around the table outside each evening sharing the warm evenings.Such a beautiful pool area, but also a lovely space to stroll with fruit trees and palms.I was needing a place that was calm away from the crowds, yet close to shops and cafes if needed and this was perfect.

Lovely little house

Great customer service, awesome house and garden. Quite location in a peaceful residential area a short, pleasant walk to bars and restaurants. The bars and restaurants are not obvious unless you look for them. They are on the way to the volcano walk. All in all a great place to stay.

One word

We arrived at Lajares on the 28th of June 2014. Philippe picked us up in front of the “farmacia” in Lajares, a nice small village in the north of Fuerteventura. When we arrived at the house we were astonished by the beauty of the garden, the swimming pool and the house itself. It has every thing, with a very calming atmosphere, beautiful paintings of Philippe himself... and the beautiful cat “Saphire” completes the picture. It’s a house with a soul in the middle of an oasis of palmtrees. The owner Philippe is a very nice person, who speaks French, English and German. As you know Fuerteventura is a volcanic island, so there’s not a lot of green. But climbing the volcano’s, walking in the dunes at Grandes Playas (Corralejo) and swimming in the Ocean makes up 100% for the lack of green. In El Cotillo, we were surprised by the view and the excellent food in Restaurant “La Vaca Azul”! It’s worth to visit, yum, yum In short ... we surely will come back to Casa Rockstones, maybe in 4 years when there’s another World Championship Football, which we followed this year on the big screens in Bar Return (excellent food at a small price, nice ambiance), only a 15 minutes walk from Casa Rockstones. Schönes Haus mit Pool und vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Sehr ruhige und entspannte Umgebung. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit Philippe war sehr gut, er war immer schnell erreichbar.

Traumhaft schön

Wir haben das Rockstones Haus in Lajares sehr genossen! Check-in mit Nachbar Jane unkompliziert und schnell, Sauberkeit Dank Nathalie astrein, Kommunikation mit Philippe im Vorfeld und während dem Aufenthalt per WhatsApp top, die Fotos und Beschreibung passen zu 100%. Die Lage in Lajares erfordert auf jeden Fall ein Auto, aber alles was man zum Leben braucht, findet man im Dorf. Die nächsten Strände sind rd. 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Bis an die Strände im Süden (Jandia) fährt man ca. 1 Stunde, haben wir aber auch einige Male gemacht – es ist ebenfalls ein sehenswerter Weg durch die Mitte der Insel. Der Bereich Pool/Terrasse ist einfach nur traumhaft schön gestaltet und wir haben ausgiebig gefrühstückt, die Liegen oder Couch im Außenbereich genutzt und ein paar Mal gegrillt. Das Haus selbst ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet und ausstaffiert worden, der Küche fehlt es an nichts, die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig, das Badezimmer ebenfalls. Wer Ruhe sucht, wird sie hier garantiert finden. In der näheren Umgebung kann man phantastisch essen gehen. Jederzeit wieder!!!

Idyllischer Traumurlaub

Wir durften Ende Januar, Anfang Februar diese wundervolle Unterkunft genießen. Wir wurden von der überaus freundlichen und sympathischen Nachbarin Nathalie empfangen und haben uns von der ersten Minute an wohlgefühlt . Auch der Besitzer Philippe hat sich mehrmals über WhatsApp mit uns in Verbindung gesetzt. Der Innenbereich ist großzügig ,liebevoll und mit vielen verschieden Kunstgegenstände (auch aus eigener Hand) ausgestattet. Der Aussenbereich ist eine uneinsehbare grüne Oase. Wir werden u.a. das Rauschen der Palmenblätter vermissen. Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich nur zu empfehlen.

Absolute Empfehlung

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in Philippes Haus verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail individuell eingerichtet. Der Aussenbereich ist genauso schön wie die Fotos es vermitteln - ein Traum! Das Haus liegt am Rand von Lajares. Man sollte auf jeden Fall ein Auto haben, um hier gut weg zu kommen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und viele gute Restaurants sind im Ort zu finden. Mit dem Auto erreicht man sowohl El Cotillo mit schönen Stränden und Surfmöglichkeiten als auch Corralejo und das Dünenmeer in jeweils 10-15 Minuten. Philippe selbst war während unserer Anwesenheit nicht vor Ort, versorgte uns aber vorab mit allen nötigen Informationen, und erkundigte sich auch zwischendurch nach unserem Wohlergehen - sehr nett! Vor Ort war Nachbarin Nathalie für uns da, auch hier war die Kommunikation herzlich und unkompliziert. Wir können dieses Haus jedem empfehlen, der einen ruhigen Platz außerhalb des Massentourismus sucht, um sich zu erholen und es sich gut gehen zu lassen.

Wer Ruhe in seinem Urlaub will bekommt hier alles

Es war ein traumhaft schöner Urlaub. Die Finca ist traditionell,was uns sehr gefallen hat. Kein moderner Bau sondern schlichtweg authentisch. Die Lage ist sehr schön mit Blick auf 2 Vulkane.Viele Palmen (kleinere und grössere) und der Pool dazu.Eine Küche mit allem was man braucht. Das Badezimmer mit Toilette und Dusche. 2 Schlafzimmer in einem ist ein härteres Bett in dem anderen ein weicheres. Es war einfach genial. Für mich/uns war das rundum einfach nur perfekt um aus den tristen Arbeitsalltag rauszukommen. Für uns steht fest. Wir kommen wieder.Und dann wieder Casa Rockstone!

Alleinstellungsmerkmal gegeben

Casa Rockstones ist, obwohl schon ersichtlich etwas in die Jahre gekommen, in seiner "exotischen" Performance in der ansonsten sehr gleichförmigen Umgebung etwas besonderes. Der Pool ist sehr schön gestaltet, die Zimmer schön eingerichtet. Keine volle Punktzahl gibt es einzig wegen der doch etwas mangelnden Privatsphäre, die Nachbarn doch häufig an der Casa vorbei laufen und man notgedrungen den neugierigen Blicken ausgesetzt ist.

Eine wunderschöne Villa

Diese Villa ist etwas anderes als die "normale" Villa, die Lage ist abseits von all dem Touristen centren , der Pool ist supergroß, das Haus ist sehr geräumig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Philippe ist im Fall der Fälle immer zu erreichen, der Timer für die Poolbeleuchtung funktionierte nicht, in weniger als einer Stunde wurde der Timer eingestellt und das am Sonntag. in Lajares gibt's alles was man so braucht ,Bäcker , Supermarkt, Restaurants und vieles mehr. Es war ein super entspannenden Urlaub in einer ganz besonderen Villa Thank's Pillipe

Juste quelques mots pour remercier le propriétaire et bâtisseur des lieux Philippe, de son accueil et témoigner de cet endroit fantastique.La maison est telle que décrite dans l'annonce, chaleureuse, très calme, tout le contraire d'une location moderne et froide , totalement intégrée aux paysages de murets et de pierres. Nous n'avons pas du tout eu l'impression d'une location mais plutôt qu'un ami nous avait prêté sa maison, tellement Philippe est discret pour que l'on profite pleinement. Nous aurions bien posé nos valises plus longtemps. Assurément à bientôt. Marie hélène

Plein de charme ! Propriétaire très sympatique.

Excellent accueil par le propriétaire et bâtisseur des lieux. Il y a de l'âme et du coeur dans cette maison de vacance idéale. A l'opposé des cubes de béton au design épuré. Piscine refaite à neuf, jardin plaisant et surtout terrasse conviviale et très abritée du vent : essentielle à Fuerté. Coté pratique, de quoi faire vos lessives, rincer et stocker le matos (kite, wind,...) et garer la voiture de loc. Idéal pour ceux qui cherchent la tranquilité. Merci à toi Philippe pour les conseils et la convivialité ! A recommander.

Magique, magnifique, endroit idyllique, plein de charme, chaleureux que du bonheur quoi :-) Une semaine de rêve partagée et appréciée par 4 générations ! Un propriétaire dispo, à l'écoute, aux petits soins ... Merci Philippe. Une belle expérience à renouveler à la demande de notre princesse Emma, son arrière-grand-maman Jeannette mais aussi par les deux générations du milieu !
