Brilliant villa. Massive, plenty space indoors, two lovely outdoor spaces, BBQ, amazing big pool. Really quiet central location for visiting the beach (10 mins drive), water park (15 mins drive) etc. Plenty cafes and restaurants (also take aways) within walking distance although a car would be recommended. Can't fault this villa and would return in future. Thoroughly recommend!

Wonderful stay at the fabulous Villa Flora. A great property with everything you could ask for. Fantastic pool. Lots of space to relax. Comfortable beds. Plenty of amenities to cook for yourself. Flora Villa, Lajares

Flora Villa is in a quiet area about 25-30 minutes walk from the town centre at Lajares. The setting of the villa is beautiful overlooking open scenery to the west. The villa is well equipped and spacious. William was quickly responsive to a minor issue on arrival and was readily available if required. Overall, a beautiful villa and pool in a peaceful location.

Villa Flora Lajares

We had an amazing stay at the Villa and there was everything that we needed. We found Lajares as a quiet, nice rural area. We felt very private and secure in the Villa, we made full use of the swimming pool and the rest of the facilities provided. We spent many of our days enjoying our lunch in the shade, and our evening meals next to the illuminated pool on the patio. Many thanks from all of us

Fabulous

Thanks to Martin and Sue for a fabulous stay. The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Wi-Fi for the TV is not great but this is what we have become used to and it’s not an essential. Would definitely revisit.

We are on fibre with a speeds of well over 150meg and the TV is next to the router, also our other rental property reported poor service on TVMucho. This review has to be put into the context of villas which we have rented either through VRBO or elsewhere. As such, the Lajares villa needs a slight makeover - we understood that the pictures show an older style kitchen etc but the sofa in the living area needs replaced, the shower doors in

Thank you for the review. received 17 August for your stay in March . The kitchen was updated in June. I do not understand the comment that the sofa needs replacing. I appreciate it may not be to everybody's cup of tea but it was new only at the end of last year. Your comment on shower door was chopped off therefore I do not understand the problem but have had no other reports of a problem

Very welcoming hosts,it was lovely to meet both Sue & Martin during our stay! Sue even went shopping for us to sort out a small WiFi issue!! The property is fully equipped with all you could need for a family & is set in a lovely tranquil area,which was great to relax & unwind by the pool & then watch the sunset over the mountains from the rear terrace in the evening! We all had a fantastic stay over Xmas & the New Year! The only slight improvement would be an increase in the pool temperature as it was still a bit too cold at this time of year for the kids to enjoy it fully! Overall we all had a lovely stay & would highly recommend to anybody looking for a relaxing break in lovely surroundings! Thankyou Martin & Sue for looking after us! The Taylor Family!

Perfect Location and Great place to stay

Very well presented, all you could ask for to have a relaxing and homely stay. The property is very welcoming and well designed to accommodate 8 people. The pool is extremely good and the salt rather than chlorine is much better. You feel you are living within the local community as neighbours go about their daily lives, but it was quiet throughout. Provision of fans for every bedroom was a much needed bonus. The kitchen is well provisioned with washer, dishwasher cooker etc and the appliances all appeared new or nearly new. Extra bedding, towels and especially pool/beach towels provision was welcomed.

A beautiful property with stunning sunset views

The photos do not do this property any justice, it is beautiful. Communication with Martin was Excellent from start to finish. 7 of us stayed very comfortably here. You have a bright new fully fitted kitchen along with the lovely wood features and marble floors, gives it a modern but yet still Spanish look. We had a balcony from our room, which I went out onto every night and saw shooting stars. (No air con unfortunately but fans provided in every room) We spent hours in the pool which was cleaned twice during our stay. We would then go and drink around the back where they had a nice seating area and watch the superb sunsets. It’s a gated property with a few other villas around you so you feel safe. You can walk into Lajares from the villa or about 15 minutes in the car to Corralejo which is very busy at night time full of restaurants and shops, or in the day a beautiful beach. We all loved it and will hopefully get to go back soon.

Great location, well equipped villa, loads of choices for eating and drinking in nearby village and only a 15 min drive to Corralejo town where there is everything you would need. Local artisan market on Saturdays (3 min drive). Beautiful beaches around 10 min drive. Excellent for surfing and lots of water sports available. Great choice of supermarkets within 5 min drive.

This villa is absolutely lovely, it’s in a quiet location but still near some bars/restaurants and a small supermarket which you can walk to. The villa has everything you need, the swimming pool is great and the beds are really comfortable. We had a wonderful 10 days there and could have easily stayed longer as it’s like home from home.

Perfect spot for holidays

Its a wonderful house, quite spacious with a great and heatable pool. We enjoyed the cleanness, the fully equipped kitchen and the various places to sit outside like on the patio in front of the entrance, at the back of the house which is the best place to enjoy sunset or to barbecue, or on the first floor outside the master bedroom overviewing old volcano cones. Dishwasher and washing machine made the vacation easier. During the 2 weeks end of January we spent there, temperatures dropped at night to about 13°C, which resulted in indoor temperatures of about 19°C. Because Spanish houses in the south have rarely heating systems, the owner offered us an electric heater. What else is newsworthy ? Apparently the stove had been cleaned so vigorously that the signs of the switches were wiped off. The nice fireplace in the living room has a sign that it is a forgery. The finca is located in the village Lajares, in the northern part of the isle, and is surrounded by a neighborhood with similar houses. A supermarket and nice mid-level restaurants are in the vincinity. By car, which is a necessity, the dunes and beaches of Corralejo and beaches elsewhere are in a 20-30 minutes drive range. If one likes to get rid of some calories from the breakfast, a hike to the near by Calderon Hondo is a nice experience. The owner lives in walking distance. He was very helpful and questions were answered instantaneously. All-in-all the finca is a clear recommendation and gets a definite thumb up !

Eigentlich war alles ok

Grundsätzlich ist das ein schönes und vorallem ein sehr großes Haus. Die Vermieter eine Strasse weiter sind sehr nett und Hilfsbereit. Leider sind ausnahmslos alle Sitzmöbel, vom Sessel über die Stühle bis zu den Liegen extrem unbequem. Und die Armeisen sind eine echte Plage, in allen Schränken, sogar bis in die Dusche ... Das Haus ist bis zu neun Leuten belegbar, leider gibt es nur für fünf ausreichend Geschirr.

Wir gehen davon aus, dass Sie die Gartenmöbel meinen, da nicht klar ist, auf welche Sie sich beziehen. In Bezug auf die Ameisen. Diese können aufgrund der hohen Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit ein Problem darstellen. Diese können nur bekämpft werden, wenn man sehr wachsam ist und dafür sorgt, dass alle Futterreste nach dem Essen so schnell wie möglich von den Arbeitsflächen entfernt werden Zubereitung.Lebensmittel sollten immer in verschlossenen Behältern aufbewahrt werden. Die Verfügbarkeit der Artikel hängt von der Anzahl der Personen ab, die das Objekt bewohnen. Bei neun Personen ist ausreichend für die neun Personen vorhanden.
