LQSTVR#111943 - Welcoming open floor plan with french doors opening to both the west facing private courtyard pool & spa and east facing back patio areas. Enjoy the spaciously designed Living, Family, Kitchen & Dining areas, that all open to up to each other, flanked by the front and back patios. On pleasant days, it's wonderful to open all the french doors to and let the desert air flow thru. Both patios feature overhead string lights for ambience. The Family room features 65” streaming Apple TV and Stereo speakers. The Master suite has a comfortable king bed, private sitting area with 55" Streaming Apple TV. The Master bath area includes a walk in closet, dual sinks and private toilet room. Guest Bedrooms 1 & 2 share a Jack & Jill bath with dual sink area and seperate shower/toilet space. Guest room 2 has a queen bed and guest room 3 has a smaller full size bed. The Garage includes a complementry Universal EV Charger.

A well behaved dog is welcome for a $50 additional cleaning fee.
10% discount for 7 DAYS or more and 20% for 30 days or more.

The home was full of amenities that made staying there so comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils as well as plastic storage ware. The beds were very comfortable with sufficient sheets and blankets. The towels were great. The front and back yards were very comfortable to tro y. The neighborhood was quiet. We had an extended stay and the owner even reached out to us to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Amazing house for desert getaway

Group of friends and I stayed here for Coachella and it was perfect. There is everything in this house you could ever need - tons of cooking supplies, pool towels, etc, etc. Even the non-suite bedrooms are a decent size. Great location. Super easy to contact host. I would come back anytime!

Perfect for a weekend trip!

This stay was great - highly recommend! The place was a lot bigger than what I perceived in pictures. My group of 6 felt very comfortable and really enjoyed how spacious it felt despite our bigger number. Would happily reserve from this stay again for the future!

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful & Clean Home

My family enjoyed staying here very much. We've stay in other Palm Springs/La Quinta homes before and this one is one of the cleanest ones yet! We felt very comfortable in the spacious and well-kept home. The pool was fantastic and the retractable shade was a very nice surprise. The host was very responsive and made sure our stay was pleasant. Would highly recommend anyone staying in the La Quinta area to check this home out!

Such a fantastic spot

From the moment we arrived at the property we were impressed. The house is exceptionally clean and much bigger than we expected. Great location and house

The house is very comfortable and we enjoyed that the kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment and spices so making some snacks was easy. It was close to nice restaurants, shopping and The Living Desert. It was really chilly when we were in the area so didn't use the pool or spa but it looked very nice.

Quite and Relaxing

Our Christmas in The Cove was amazing! This is our 5 year in a row and have always stayed in the cove at different properties. We will definitely return to this relaxing home. It was clean welcoming and very comfortable. The home is pet friendly and you would never know that other dogs were in this house, it is clean and has no odor. Thank you so much and see you again soon!!!

Private and Secure location

This was one of our best desert vacations ever. The house was clean, secure and a great floor plan. The pool is very private and is perfect for sunbathing and hanging out in the spa. House is well stocked and professionally run. Darren, the owner, was very responsive and handled all questions immediately. The Cove trails are close by and offer great hiking options. We hope to come back soon!

Beautiful Comfortable Home!

I’ve never felt so at home in a VRBO home before. I loved all the furnishings, including the throws and pillows that brought that comfy feeling and all the artwork and pottery that brought the color and interest all around the home. The kitchen was stocked with everything you can imagine. Then, the outdoor areas were private and perfect for catching a little sun which is always nice in the winter. The hosts communicated all the ins and outs before we arrived for a smooth stay and even followed up to make sure our stay was enjoyable. I’d recommend this home to anyone. You can’t go wrong.

Excellent weekend getaway!

What an excellent stay at Darren’s! The neighborhood was easy to find, lovely set up with all amenities and more, as well as a pool and hot tub. Unfortunately the garage door remote ran out of battery but there were extra batteries in the house. We contacted Darren immediately and he responded right away. The pin pad to enter the house was broken and Darren responded immediately even in the middle of the night. Darren was responsive to all our needs. Highly recommend this place to stay!

Exactly as described and homey!

We had 3 couples stay in this rental and it was perfect! The spa and pool were a hit and so easy to park in the garage and in the driveway. The neighborhood is very quiet. The kitchen is completely stocked! It has a separate family and living room which are plush and comfortable. The master is huge with a giant king bed and an attached bathroom with a huge closet. The 2 other bedrooms share a jack and Jill bath. The rooms are smaller but still spacious enough. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a double bed. My only minor change would be to change the double out for a queen. Not a deal breaker though. The washer and dryer are between the double bed room and the garage. Everything in this house is well thought out and welcoming. The owner is very responsive and kind. Thank you for letting our group enjoy your house.

A Home Away from Home

The host has thought of everything - fully stocked kitchen with plenty of flatware and cutlery, food savers, and I especially loved the Fiestaware dishes! High quality linens and plenty of pool towels. Tastefully decorated with lots of books and magazines covering the Palm Springs area and history. It felt more like we were staying at a friend’s or family member’s home. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything you would need to keep it that way including plenty of paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet. There was a mockingbird that would visit the front yard each morning and sing its heart out, as well as a pair of doves who would drop by occasionally. The outdoor spaces are awesome and the patio lights over the pool provide a wonderful night swimming ambience. We had a great time and would highly recommend this place!

The perfect desert oasis!

We loved everything about this home! It was super roomy, and the most well stocked rental we’ve ever come across. The kitchen had every tool and appliance you could ever need, plus ample cookware and a pantry full of spices, baking items, and more. The fridge was stocked with bottled water and other beverages, plus condiments, etc. The house has three smart TVs, plenty of places to read or relax, and tons of books and movies to enjoy. The pool and hot tub were sparkling clean. We appreciated the swim towels and sunscreen, too! The beds were so comfortable. The AC worked great and kept the house nice and cool, super important since it was 115° outside! This home had it all plus a great location super close to old town and many shopping centers. Check in was a breeze and Darren was so kind and quickly responsive to our questions. Truly one of the most comfortable places we’ve stayed. Can’t wait to come back when it’s cooler so we can explore area.

Beautiful, comfortable home with unusually splendid Mountain View’s.

Casa Quail Springs is one of the prettiest houses in the area and, inside, is warmly decorated to make you feel at home. The pool and spa are sheltered so little heating is necessary. The house has more kitchen equipment than mine and a stash of books to read by the pool or on the sunny patio off the master suite. The owners are immediately responsive although we had no issues during our stay. The Cove has more building activity and traffic than last year but is still very quiet. There are few sidewalks; not a problem with our leashed dog but potential issue with rambunctious kids. However there is a very nice playground just around the corner. We tried but couldn’t get the dates we needed next year so my advice would be to book early!

Amazing La Quinta Cove Home

If we could give Darren’s home10 stars we would! This is by far the most cozy, clean, well stocked and tastefully decorated home we have stayed at in La Quinta. Everything about it felt like home from the minute we walked in! Owner is super nice and thoughtful and this house has every amenity possible with extremely easy access. I wish there were more available weeks because our family would stay here several times throughout the year for granddaughters equestrian competition in Thermal.

Girls Trip

The place was well kept, clean, and a very responsive host. Pool and pool area was a bit small (no lounge chairs) but plenty of room for the 3 of us! The temperature was perfect and easy to dip into. We felt very comfortable and would stay again!

We're originally from Orange County, Ca but enjoy our family time out in the desert. Exposing others to all the beauty and fun the desert has to offer is central to our home sharing strategy.

Why they chose this property

My Mother was raised in the Palm Springs area in the 1950s while her father ran a catering business and horse ranch that took tourists on desert breakfast rides up Indian Canyon. (There's a photo of Grandpa Jack cooking for a crowd in the house) We especialy enjoy the LQ Cove area and it's proximity to bike riding, hiking and fun nights just down the road in Old Town.

What makes this property unique

Just love the open floor plan, private courtyard with pool. The French doors that open out to the patios. The kitchen is a joy to work in with lots of counter space all around. It's just an all around great house for relaxing & entertaining.
