Frank was very accommodating. The home was exactly as described. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend of fishing, boating and relaxing at the home. Will definitely be back for another weekend.
Rental of the property was a smooth process. Amenities were good with plenty of sheets towels utensils grill all very nice. The property owner was accommodating, although we never had a reason to make contact during the stay he was available.
This was the perfect spot for our group of friends to stay and soak in the sun!We could see a bit of the lake from the house and the hills are gorgeous.House was clean and well kept! The neighbors have hummingbirds feeders out that attract a big group of hummers and was so fun to watch. The boat ramp is an easy short walk down the hill, there were plenty of spots to hangout and enjoy the lake, and swim.

Fine fit for a family
Had plenty of beds and loved the screened in porch. Loved the two bathrooms. Nice master bedroom. Kitchen and oven a little small but was workable. Not far from lake with access. Roads are a little rough and small for pulling boats.
We had a great time at the lake house. Frank was super accommodating with my needs and the house was very clean. Great location and loved being so close to the lake. Would definitely book again.

Perfect location!
This was our 2nd stay at this house. We love it. It is cozy, clean and all you need.
I can't say enough about how great our stay was but I will try. First the house was immaculate. Second The house had everything we could possibly need and everything was in working order. Third the location was great. Let me also just say that given the low rate and that the owner allows pets, I was not expecting anything great. Well I was wrong. We were only 2 ppl with 1 small dog but the house has 3 great bedrooms and can easily sleep 7. The house is right on the water in a cove on Center Hill Lake with a unimproved boat dock in walking distance, however if you are not happy with an unimproved boat dock there is also a full marina very close by. The water is great for swimming and water sports and is a very warm lake. You can either bring all your own water sports equipment or rent anything you need from the nearby marina. We stayed for a week and definitely didn't want to leave. Also, while we didn't need Franks assistance in anything having to do with the house, we did contact him by email a few times having to do with information on the area and he always got right back to us. Thank you Frank for allowing us to use your home for our vacation.
It was a cute little rental. My son caught some delicious fish right down by the boat launch. I especially LOVED THE SCREENED IN PORCH! only a 10 to 15 min drive to burgess falls state park. Definitely check them out the burgess falls are gorgeous and worth the little treck up and down to get there. Hank was very accommodating as well.
This is quaint, rustic 3 bedroom/2bathroom retreat in an eclectic neighborhood of second homes for water enthusiasts. The owner/host was accessible and graciously agreed to a late check out when we ran into a time bind. Although the neighborhood is fairly isolated, it is 4 miles or so from an active interstate exit with a Love's and other c-store options for whatever you may have forgotten or if you just dig Love's single serving coffe machines.
The place is an older structure but was decorated very nicely. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Water pressure and amount of hot water available was excellent. Supplies that I I expected to be available were not...no salt, coffee filters or soap in showers. We had a third of a roll of paper towels for a 10 day stay. We had to purchase toilet paper and paper towels as there was an inadequate or nonexistent back up. We had to wash the bathroom rugs because of how dirty they looked. The blow dryer in that bathroom is broken and held together with electrical tape. The worst part is the mildew smell. There were multiple scented plug ins throughout the home but only one had any liquid left in it. The smell is terrible. The road it is located on is challenging particularly at night. If you are looking for lake front activities this is probably a great spot, that was not of interest to us this trip. I had business in both Cookeville and Buffalo Valley, and I expected Baxter to be centrally located. This part of Baxter definitely was not.
Great little place to stay! Frank is really nice..
This place was a great location to Cookville Boat Dock. We took our 5 grandkids ages 3-10 , on their 1st fishing trip, on a Saturday.
House was very nice and clean. Lake is nearby for fishing. Beautiful screened in porch with a fan to be able to enjoy the outdoors with a comfortable breeze.
My uncle came to visit me and we needed a place to stay and do everything we enjoy. We had an amazing time. It was close to everything we needed. Kayaking, fishing, swimming, grilling, and a little needed R&R.
This house has a nice eclectic style situated in a family-friendly locale. Great location for fishermen and kayakers. Lake swimming unsuitable near boat launch due to heavy rains and rising water during visit. Burgess Falls is beautiful but Window Cliffs was closed due to flooding. Cookeville boat dock is close by and you can rent pontoons and kayaks. It's a very scenic area. Our host was friendly and easily reachable. Only problem was TV remote in back bedroom wasn't working.
This is the second time my family and I have rented this property and we enjoyed it just as much this time around! Even with the heat wave, the porch stayed cool enough in the mornings and evenings to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake! The house was very clean and the owner left plenty of helpful instructions and notes. The neighborhood is very friendly and peaceful and it's an easy drive to Cookeville.
