I love taking our family to Fort Walton Beach each year. This was our first time at Summer Place. We enjoyed the location, the ease of pool and beach access, and the beach chair service was a huge plus!

Great stay short walk anywhere

Loved summer place. Short easy walk to the ocean. Ease of access to pool and rooms. Parking wasn’t covered but was secure. Short walk to eat at AJS, Hightide and Stewby’s which are our favorite. Room was clean and spacious for a family of 8.

Stay was really good. Super nice area for families. Our washing machine didn't work while we were there, they did try to fix it. Would have been nice to be reimbursed for the inconvenience though.

Great Stay!

Condo was as advertised. Great view of the beach/Gulf from 3rd floor. Unit is directly above one of the pools and hot tub which often meant noise from kids playing, but not bad. Condo enforced quiet hour rules, so all was quiet after 10 PM. Was nice to have beach umbrella and chairs included.

Love Summer Place

307 was a wonderful introduction for us to the Summer Place Condominiums. Our family slept well on the beds! Plenty of towels provided! Loved that the chairs and umbrella were included!! A few updates would be great! New shower heads, a Keurig coffee maker and metal cooking utensils would be nicer.

Family Vacation

Everything was amazing. The property is very clean and well maintained. The hot tub was closed while we were there for repair but it did not impact our trip. The kiddos had a blast playing in the pool and beach was perfect. Very easy walk out to the beach across a boardwalk thru the sand dune. The location was great as well. 5 minute drive to the grocery store and and we could walk to several restaurants. We will definitely be coming here again!

Everything was great but could have had up to date smart tvs through out the house. Also washer and dryer is awful needs updated. Needs more knives and a toaster with 4 spots so you can get more toast done. We would stay in this unit again just needs small improvements to make it better.

Everything was great! Except the beds are terrible uncomfortable! I had seen this in previous reviews. If you have any back or hip issues. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Everything was great but the mattress need replaced! All of them! Hopefully the owner considers replacing them soon! Terribly uncomfortable!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The area is beautiful and having chairs and an umbrella is a nice perk. The furniture in 307 needs to be replaced. The couches had no support and some of the outside chairs were broken. The double bed in the bedroom made noise with every move. The pool was a favorite of the kids but it was not monitored by anyone to enforce the posted rules. The location was perfect for having access to food and restaurants.

Great location and view

Overall, the condo was nice. It was clean but could use a little refreshing in some areas (carpet is hard to keep clean on a beach; some dresser drawers fall out when you open them) I slept fine but my husband and daughter changed beds throughout the trip to find one they were comfortable in. The location was beautiful and beach service was included. Management was nice and responded immediately when we told them the washer wasn’t working right. However, the owner of the unit had already been told to replace the washer and dryer and did not. Everything we washed became covered in blue lint from something a previous guest washed. The unit also had strong unpleasant smell to it. We had a great trip and I will stay at Summer Place again, but next time I’ll try a different apartment.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo #307 was not in as good a shape as the online photos portrayed. The pictures must be close to 5 years old as the furnishings have seen some pretty hard use & wear. The living room couch was horrible to sit on, feeling like crawling out of a boat to get up. The master bedroom mattress was most uncomfortable, like sleeping in a taco shell. The wires & small box hanging down below the tv in the living room were not very safe and almost got caught on items taken from the balcony to the front. The clothes dryer & the ice maker had to be repaired while we were in the condo. They came to measure the coffee table for new glass while we were there. The condo was nice & clean & we most appreciated that!

We have stayed in several units at this complex and have our favorites. We rented this unit for 11 days for a little less than the units we really love knowing it needs a little TLC. A new couch is a must. You can't even sit on it and enjoy TV because it is so uncomfortable. The kitchen needs new pans and utensils. Loved the mattress in the master. Overall, the unit is just "worn". Legacy was AMAZING to say the least to help with little things we needed during our stay. Will always rent with them! Thanks again for a great stay at FWB! Until next time!

The mixed variety of seating gave off the vibe of various yard sale finds.Otherwise, the unit was comfortable and in a great location. We would definitely stay here again.
