Stayed here for our daughter's wedding at The Round Barn. It was a great place to stay! Very comfortable. The house is clean and well equipped. The house is on the same road as The Round Barn and close to great fishing and (probably) hunting locations. We fully recommend staying here!

Wow, by far the most beautiful review we have been given! I am glad you enjoyed it. 😀
Thanks Brandi!
It was in the perfect spot to satellite out on our adventures. The house was very comfortable and the fenced yard was the icing on the cake. Our dogs were so happy. Great response from our host when needed.
We stayed here for 2 and a half months and it worked perfect for our family! Beautiful setting with wildlife out the front window most days! Great hosts with good communication…would recommend staying here!
House is well maintained, updated and clean. Property is super cool with lots of critters to watch roaming around. Close to twin bridges, the jeff, tobacco roots etc. Off the beaten path and super quiet.
It's a beautiful property, well maintained and landscaped. The zip line was a hit with the grandkids. It's far enough away from towns for privacy and close enough to see everything in the area.
Quiet, out of the way location. Exactly what we needed! Comfortable furniture, slept very well. Don't forget the bug spray. Great communication with the host.

Glad you enjoyed it so much! Thanks for taking such great care of our home!
I stayed here a whole month! I had my two dogs with me and it was amazing! Gorgeous views and conveniently situated between Bozeman and Butte. Saw antelope, deer, magpie, cows, horses, and lots of beautiful scenery. This was a trip purely for a retreat and I never slept better in the past 5 years. The hosts were amazing! You will love your time here.

Comfortable and relaxing!
This property is fabulous. The house was impeccably clean, super cozy, and perfect for a family getaway. The kitchen was perfect for home cooked meals, and the property is very private which was something we were looking for. We saw a lot of wildlife, and the slough (accessible on the property) was beautiful. Even though it rained for much of our stay, the house was warm and inviting. Thank you so much for your hospitality!!

This location was absolutely perfect for our family stay!! It was close to the location where the guys were fishing & close to plenty of other locations for exploring, shopping & just relaxing. The only downside was the mosquitos in the evening, but even that was manageable. I just wish we could have stayed longer...or that I could pick up that master bath & take it home with me! Since we are MT natives & like to head back periodically, we definitely plan to stay here again in the future! Thanks to Keri & family for a beautiful home away from home!!

Stove/oven don't work properly. Something is wrong with BBQ. The house stays hot! Window coolers are practically useless. TINY tv in master bedroom! Clothes washer needs dewp cleaning. It left black marks on some clothing. Grass all dried up.

Thank you for your feedback. We always appreciate hearing from guests and are continually working to improve.
For future guests, a few clarifications:
The oven is currently working, though we’ve decided to replace it soon to ensure the best experience going forward.
Montana homes often do not have central AC, as our hot season is typically short. We recommend keeping windows and curtains closed during the day and opening them at night — this usually keeps the home comfortable.
The washer is just 3 years old, and this is the first report of any issues. We’ll absolutely inspect it to ensure it's functioning properly.
Regarding the yard, we informed the guest during their stay that irrigation water was shut off due to an ongoing drought affecting the Jefferson River area. This unfortunately impacts our ability to maintain a green lawn. Our regular mower was also unavailable for a short time, but we were available to step in if it became a concern.
The BBQ and all appliances are regularly checked, but we always encourage guests to contact us during their stay so we can quickly assist with any concerns.
The TV in the master bedroom is smaller, but many guests enjoy the larger screen in the main living area.
We’re always happy to assist our guests and are committed to making each stay as comfortable as possible. Thanks again for choosing our home, and we wish you all the best.

Disliked: Cleanliness
It was very peaceful but the house was not clean. Mattresses were poor and some blankets had holes. Pots and pans were old and the non stick pans were very scratched and definitely not non stick. Pantry was full of outdated food and we were there for almost 3 weeks and had a lot of our stuff with nowhere to put it.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the property peaceful, and we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. This is our first less-than-perfect review, and we take it seriously.
Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll use it to make the property even better. Thanks again for staying with us!
July 2021. Super nice casa. Clean, well stocked and very private. Couldn’t see the big sky due to the fires and couldn’t fish due to the water temperatures and levels. The fish out the back is not exactly correct. You must traverse a couple hills to get to the water. If you have physical disabilities, it’s almost impossible to get their. The owners are extremely nice and responsive. The casa is well maintained and has very modern amenities. This property is located directly in the middle of nowhere. It’s perfect for a true getaway. If we travel to the big sky again, we would definitely consider this property..
Thnx again.. Kurt and Polly.
This is the second time we have stayed at this home. The house is in a quiet location, perfect for unplugging. We saw deer, rabbits, coyotes, and there is a porcupine that lives in the back. The house is as described and the host is very quick with responses if you have questions. The back yard is fenced and very kid friendly. I suppose it is considered a remote location, but groceries and other supplies are only 15 minutes away. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
This house is wonderful. The wildlife and privacy was everything! We spent Christmas here and it was just perfect. House is stocked so well and host made sure we were cozy and kept us in the loop on things we needed to know. We would come back in a heartbeat!

I am so glad you loved our home so much! Please come back!
the location was wonderful, quiet and secluded. the rooms were good, kitchen was very nice and roomy, bedrooms were just perfect. It needs a good cleaning (cobwebs were thick to say the least :), dust as expected on a dirt road and lots of dead flies in the windowsills so it hadn't been touched in several weeks) but I would rent it again without hesitation.

We bought this home in 2012, and from the moment we stepped inside, we knew it was our dream home. Life took us a little further north to Helena for a job opportunity we couldn’t pass up, but we’ve kept this special place because it’s too wonderful to let go.
This home is our little slice of Montana paradise — peaceful, cozy, and surrounded by the natural beauty we love so much. Over the years, we’ve made countless memories here, and now we’re thrilled to share it with guests who can create their own.
A bit about us: Keri grew up in Butte, MT, and Nick in Billings, MT. We have two sons and a daughter, and as a family, we’ve always loved exploring Montana’s mountains, lakes, and trails. We’ve designed this home to be comfortable and welcoming, and we hope you’ll feel right at home the moment you arrive.
Whether you’re here to relax, explore, or just enjoy a peaceful escape, we’re happy to open our doors to you and make your stay unforgettable
