Alda and her property are tops!

Alda was very hospitable and welcoming as we checked in to her lovely home in the medieval village of Loro Ciuffena. The home was charming and spacious and reflective of the authentic experience of staying in an Italian Tuscany village. And the garden overlooking the village was an extra bonus. Alda was easy to communicate with and accommodating to our check in schedule. She even greeted us with a bottle of wine. I would highly recommend this experience!

Rester au cœur du village

Alda est une hôtesse prévenante et accueillante. L’appartement situé au cœur du village à proximité de petits commerces pittoresques, il est décoré avec goût et la cuisine pourvue de ce que j’avais besoin. Nous avons apprécié bénéficier du jardin et du stationnement même s’il était facile de se stationner sur la rue. Être dans une petite communauté est agréable lorsqu’on rentre de nos visites touristiques quotidiennes savoir que de bons restaurants nous y attendent en plus de pouvoir échanger en français avec notre hôtesse. Wow! Tout pour se sentir à la maison, Le mois de Mai fait sonner plus de cloches qu’à l’habitude Mais on s’y fait c’est charmant puis au bout de quelques jours on ne les entend plus!

logement qui répond en tous points aux attentes

superbe séjour grâce à l'accueil très chaleureux d'Alda, le gîte est confortable et très bien tenu, il est bien placé et calme, c'est un très bon point de départ pour visiter la Toscane, le village est très agréable car il a un côté montagnard très appréciable. Beautiful Tuscan town

What a find! A beautiful, delightful town with so many fantastic places to visit nearby too. Alda is very welcoming, kind and thoughtful. The apartment has everything you could possibly need. Grazie Alda :)

Perfect place from which to see Tuscany

Alda was the perfect host, attentive, kind, resourceful. We were greated warmly and treated like family. There were treats when we arrived to this sparkling clean suite with it’s own parking place for our Fiat Panda. Whatever we could wish for or need was present or available. Alda was always within reach and communication with her was easy. We completely enjoyed the town, the local restaurants and how close by other villages were. We travelled back roads to mountaintops and had access to major highways within about 15 minutes. In all a perfect place to stay, comfy beds and glorious church bells.

Bellissimo week end

Comfortable house in a beautiful place and friendly people

Loro Ciufenna is a beautiful place and a good base for visiting Florance and whole Tuscany. The apartment is nicely decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. And there is also a garden with a gardenhouse where you can spend evenings drinking wine by the fireplace. Alda's house is beautifully located in the center of Loro Ciufenna. From the window we could see the clock tower, a few minutes' walk was an old mill and a river. A dozen or so minutes of walk separated us from Gropina and the chapel, which I consider to be one of the most beautiful in Italy. On the same street is a great bakery, in which we supplied delicious bread. Alda as a host was great. We were nice welcomed with a glass of wine and presents. In the following days she was also helpful and friendly and gave us all the information we wanted. I will never forget her warmth and care which she showed us on the last day of our stay, when our daughter was hospitalized. By resigning from her plans, she accompanied me to the hospital, helped and encouraged. Thank you very much, Aldo! You are wonderful and we all greet you warmly. Multo grazie Alda! Sei meraviglioso e ti salutiamo tutti calorosamente.

Séjour idéal

Idéalement placé pour visiter la Toscane, l'appartement correspond parfaitement aux photos ainsi qu'à la description. Celui est situé dans un petit village pittoresque ou de nombreuses fêtes locales ont lieu l'été. Alda est d'une gentillesse incroyable et toujours aux petits soins pour vous guider dans vos visites et vous conseiller en tous points. Le séjour aurait été totalement différent sans sa présence . Sotto il cielo della Toscana

Bellissimo paesino, meravigliosa la Toscana. La casa é grande, piena di luce, non manca nulla...in piú, ha dei bellissimi letti alti alti come quelli dei nonni! Ed il giardino, il posto giusto per guardare le stelle. Per mangiare una buona pizza, vi consiglio il Ristorante Va Pensiero, proprio a due passi dall¨appartamento. Grazie Signora Romoli, lei é stata veramente gentile.

Ottimo per passare una va...

Ottimo per passare una vacanza rilassante, in una piccola cittadina ricca di storia ed immersa in un contesto naturale mozzafiato, con paesaggi davvero caratteristici. L'appartamento è pulito, tranquillo e dotato di ogni comfort. Degni di particolare nota il giardino, curatissimo, con comode sedie a sdraio e quant'altro, e l'adiacente cucina rustica, dotata di caminetto, perfetto per fantastiche grigliate. Padrona di casa molto gentile ed accogliente.

"adorable appartement dan...

"adorable appartement dans maison classée. On se sent vraiment chez soi. Le village est charmant, et tout est à proximité, la boulangerie est en face de la maison de meme que les autres commerce. L''ancien moulin a eau est tout à pres et l''on peut admirer la riviere qui passe au pied du village. notre séjour a été exceptionnel grace à l accueil hors norme de notre hotesse ALDA qui n a cesse de nous couvrir de délicates attentions. Ses conseils nous ont également été précieux (visites, conseil sur les termes....) Loro ciuffena est très bien situé pour visité la TOSCANE, nous avons profité de la saison pour cueillir en foret champignons et chataignes. Notre hotesse s est plus que gentillement chargé d ''allumer le feu de la cheminée se trouvant dans la loge (véranda extérieure jouxtant le jardin) afin de griller nos chataignes, moment très convivial. MERCI du fond du coeur à ALDA pour ces vacances inoubliables."

"La posizione è proprio al centro del paese. L''appartamento è dotato di tutte le attrezzature che servono e la proprietaria è davvero gentile e molto disponbile. The flat is in the city center. The place is really nice, and you can find all you need in the kitchen, very well organized. Cleanliness is very good and the owner is very kind and thoughtful."

"L’appartamento è spazioso e confortevole, meravigliosi i letti matrimoniali, alti e molto comodi. Bello il giardino e le terrazze da cui godersi il panorama sul paese e, di sera, anche dopo una giornata caldissima,è stato sempre possibile trovare una temperatura fresca e mite. Il paese è in una posizione adatta a visitare molte città della Toscana e molti percorsi naturalistici. La signora Alda è una persona eccezionale, premurosa e cordiale, sempre disponibile e gentile. È stata una vacanza davvero piacevole, consigliamo vivamente un tale soggiorno, noi ci torneremo sicuramente."
