Just loved it!

Lovely setting amongst apple trees, very well equipped, good location for visiting nearby towns and Normandy coast and walking in the countryside, not too far from most cross channel ferries.

Beautiful house, peaceful relaxing stay

Wonderful unusual house and gorgeous garden. We had a very happy stay here. Sufficient equipment for cooking family meals. Not much close by, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet very much, and the vending machine/farm shop just down the road was amazing!

Beautiful, unusual accommodation in a lovely garden setting.

The charming property is well maintained and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The garden with its pond is a pretty place. Our only problem was the traffic noise from the passing D87. Other may not notice this - but at home we live in a very quiet rural setting. Apart form that - excellent.

Hier bekommt man neben einem außergewöhnlichen Ferienhaus noch einen ganzen Park dazu. Auf dem riesigen Gelände (ich schätze mal 3.000 bis 4.000 Quadratmeter) kann man an verschiedenen, äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichteten Orten wunderbar verweilen. Der ehemalige Taubenschlag ist herrlich eingerichtet und ebenso geschmackvoll gestaltet. Unten die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit Spülmaschine, Backofen, Herd, Mikrowelle etc. Im ersten Stock der Salon, auch wunderbar. Der Knaller ist dann das Schlafzimmer im obersten Geschoss. Vom Bett schaut man auf die Dachkonstruktion und fühlt sich wie in einem Schloss. Oben ist auch das schöne Badezimmer (weitere Toilette im Erdgeschoss).Francoise und Sylvain sind äußerst sympathische Gastgeber, die einem sehr viele Tipps für die Umgebung geben. Man fühlt sich gleich wie zuhause.Was man wissen muss: Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und nichts für Leute, die den Trubel lieben. Es gibt aber im näheren Umkreis gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, ebenso Restaurants. Zum Meer nach z. B. Honfleur sind es ca. 30 Minuten. Ebenso gibt es im Pays d'Auge viel zu entdecken (Cidre, Käse, Natur). Im Hochsommer kann es im Schlafzimmer schon sehr warm werden, dann empfiehlt sich ein Umzug auf die Schlafcouch im Salon.Für Urlauber, die einfach nur entspannen wollen gibt es in meinen Augen nichts Besseres!Merci beaucoup Francoise et Sylvain !

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Das Grundstück und besonders der Turm sind traumhaft schön und haben eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Unsere absoluten Highlights waren der wunderschöne Garten und die Sauna – perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Kommunikation war von Anfang an unkompliziert und schnell, wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und im Haus war alles vorhanden, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt brauchten.Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch! Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Pigonnerie. Francoise und Sylvain sind sehr nette und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Das Haus ist märchenhaft schön und gut ausgestattet. Wir haben auch das große Grundstück mit den verschiedenen Sitzplätzen in Sonne oder Schatten genossen und gerne die Frösche und Schwalben beobachtet. Es war sehr ruhig, sowohl von Seiten der Frösche als auch im Bezug auf die Nachbarn. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge eignete sich die Unterkunft gut, für uns ging es zum Beispiel nach Le Havre und Honfleur, nach Rouen, Caen und Lisieux

Very nice acomedation, well looked after with a nice garden and a pond with lot of frogs. There is a private parking place. You can do various daytrips from the place you stay. A small freshmarket at 1km away. The owners are very friendly.

Kleiner wunderschöner Turm wie aus dem Märchen

Wir waren 5 Tage zu Gast in dem kleinen Turm. Wir hatten uns durch die Bilder schon viel versprochen. Aber unsere Vorstellungen wurden vor Ort noch übertroffen. Der Turm erstreckt sich über drei Etagen. Unten befindet sich eine gut ausgestattette Küche mit modernsten Geräten. Auf der mittleren Etage vefindet sich ein Sofa, auf dem zwei weitere Leute hätten schlafen können. Dort ist auch ein Fernsehr vorhanden. Aber ganz besonders ist der Blick in die obere Etage. Die alten Holzbalken die zum Spitzdach oben zusammenlaufen sehen aus dem darunterliegenden Bett wunderschön aus. Man hatte eine schöne Aussicht zum einschlafen. Die Sauna in dem Faß vor dem Turm hat auch wunderbar funktioniert. Alles in einem gab es nichts zu bemängeln und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wir würden jeder zeit wieder kommen! Lukas und Sarah

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in der Normandie! Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Lage sehr gut um nicht nur das Meer sondern auch das Land zu entdecken. Die Sauna ist super und die Aussendusche herrlich erfrischend. Tolle Gastgeber! Sehr spannend ist der Einkauf am Lebensmittelautomaten. Die Qualität der Waren ist hervorragend! Wunderbare Tage

Ein sehr schönes kleines Haus, bei dem es an nichts fehlte. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Der Garten ist ein Paradies. Wir haben uns äuserst wohl gefühlt und die Abgeschiedenheit sehr genossen. Ideal für ruhige Tage zu zweit.

Ein Traum mitten in der Normandie

Das Taubenhaus liegt auf einem großzügigen, parkähnlich angelegten und äußerst gepflegten Grundstück. Es lässt wirklich nichts vermissen! Wir haben alles sauber und ordentlich vorgefunden und Madame Biot herzlich hat uns alle Einrichtungen gezeigt. Das Haus entspricht absolut den Beschreibungen und wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Wir haben nach unseren Ausflügen abends gern draußen am Teich oder vor dem Haus gesessen oder die Sauna genutzt. Zukünftige Mieter sollten zwei Dinge wissen, die allerdings auch schon in den Beschreibungen erwähnt sind: Das Taubenhaus liegt mitten im Nirgendwo, allerdings bestehen in Pont Audemer genug Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Man benötigt halt ein Auto. Die Lage ist aber dennoch für alle, die die Normandie erkunden möchten, ideal, weil zentral zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten! Wer nur Strandurlaub machen möchte, muss sich auf weite Fahrten einstellen. Wir haben in zwei Wochen den Tapis in Bayeux, die Landungsstrände, Deauville und Trouville, Honfleur, Rouen, Étretat, Lissieux, eine Calvados-Brennerei, Giverny, Beaumont-en-Auge, mehrere Châteaus und Manoirs besucht und auch Strandtage in Villers-sur-mer und in Blonville-sur-Mer verbracht, alles gut mit dem Auto innerhalb von 45-75 Minuten erreichbar. Das 2., was man beachten sollte: Um ins OG mit dem Schlafzimmer und Bad zu gelangen, muss man durch das Zimmer im ersten Stock. Somit ist dieses Haus zwar für Familien mit Kindern geeignet, für 2 Paare weniger. Für 2 Personen ist Platz ohne Ende!

Eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft

Die Ferienwohnung ist gut zu erreichen und befindet sich in ruhiger Lage. Wir haben die Wohnung über 3 Etagen sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet vorgefunden. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt konnten wir einen entspannten Urlaub verbringen. Gerne wieder.
