Beautiful 5 bedroom cottage, 3 bathroom on 210 feet of frontage and 2.5 acres of wooded lot in a quiet bay located close to Foots Bay in mid Lake Joseph in Muskoka. Bay has a sandy bottom at the start of the dock and 5-6 ft of water at the end of the dock, with 2 built in ladders at the deep end. Screened in porch is ideal for entertaining and being outdoors in comfort. Living room and separate family room provide the ideal setting for privacy and hosting venues. Also comes with a laundry room for convenience of washing and drying clothes. 2x Master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and 3rd bathroom to service the other 3 bedrooms. Check in time is after 4pm and Check out before 11 am. No pets please, owner allergic to dog hair

The property has been in my family for over 75 years with the original land purchase being around 40 acres by my grandfather in 1952. That is now 9 lake front cottages going from one bay all the way into the next bay and only ours and my cousins next door still in the family.

Why they chose this property

The property is in a quiet sand bottom bay with 210' of frontage with a massive dock area . The dock is 65 ft out from the shore and it over 50 wide with the pad at the end being 52' x 27' which faces Southeast to Southwest and gets an all day sun until 630 or 7 pm when the sun disappears over the trees in the evening. Shade at the dock under the boatport if the non-stop sun is too much for you and 2 swim ladders at each end make for great water fun, complete with a lily pad raft to swim out to and cool off on.

What makes this property unique

The sun and swimming are fantastic as this lot was picked out as one of the best for my mother when my grandfather severed lots for his kids. Kayaks, canoe, paddleboat, paddleboards are all available for use. Small first pit by the shoreline for marshmallow cooking. On the large deck , Muskoka chairs, outdoor couches and tables plus a screened in porch to get out bugs in the late evening
