Comfortable to stay for 8 people in the heart of the Abondance valley, 700 m from the gondola Braitaz: Ski on the beautiful Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil. The chalet is located in La Chapelle d'Abondance instead says "Thoules" or 5 minutes walk from the tourist office. A 150: supermarket, a pub, two restaurants and the stop of the free shuttle to the two ski areas-Cret Beni and Braitaz and to Chatel. Travel time on foot: - Gondola Braitaz 5 to 10 minutes - tracks Cret Beni (10 to 15 minutes by way of the snow field). The cottage includes - Ground floor: entrance, dining room, living room a child, a parent lounge and a separate toilet. - First floor: one room with parents, bathroom (bath, washbasin, WC), a guest room, a children's room with 2 bunk beds (or 4 beds) and a bathroom (shower, washbasin, WC).

Delightful character property

The lovely Chalet Chadele was the perfect place for my family to stay. It was clean, quiet and spacious in a very good location close to the village centre. The property has plenty of character, reflecting its age, but all modern conveniences. Definitely to be recommended. The only slight drawback for us, in coming from the UK, was that we had to provide our own sheets and towels though I understand these could have been hired locally.

Dit was precies wat we zochten voor ons ski vakantie. Vol oude details en toch moderne comfort. Een week wonen tussen een boerderij en eenskileraar. Zeer complete keukenuitrusting. Gezellig ingericht huis. Fijn 3 wc’s voor als je met een groep bent. Bedden voldoende comfortabel. Veel ruimte voor een klein ogend huis. Iedereen kon ergens anders beneden zitten. Heerlijk op het balkon zitten in de zon met uitzicht op berg. Douche prima. De weg gaat vlak langs maar dat is niet vervelend. We vonden het gezellig Wij willen graag terug.

Un remarquable chalet

Nous avons passé une semaine extraordinaire dans ce chalet tout confort et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Sa situation au sein des Thoules, petit quartier typique de la Chapelle, proche des fermes, lui confère une touche authentique, loin du tumulte des villes. Pour les fins de journées une pause au Fer Rouge, à 3mn à pied, pour déguster les bières brassées sur place dans une très bonne ambiance est fort sympa. Le chalet est remarquablement bien situé avec un accès au domaine "Les Portes du Soleil" pour des journées complètes de ski. Des sentiers de randonnées passent au dessus du chalet et offrent des vues imprenables sur la vallée. Nous vous conseillons vivement ce chalet familial dans lequel on s'y sent comme dans un cocon.

Le charme des vrais chalets de montagne....

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce chalet arrangé avec goût. Rien ne manquait, propre, chaleureux, bien exposé au niveau soleil, au calme, parfait pour 4 adultes et 4 enfants, il y a de l'espace pour chacun. Il est bien situé, car proche du centre du village et des pistes de ski de fond et alpin. Ce sera avec grand plaisir que nous retournerons dans cet agréable cocon. Nous pouvons recommander ce chalet sans problème; il mérite ses 5 étoiles! Merci pour tout ! Fabrice T.

Bijzonder gezellig familiehuis.

Bij aankomst troffen wij een in alle opzichten warm familiehuis aan, waarin wij als familie ons onmiddellijk thuis voelden. De "Chadèle" is een bijna 150 jaar oud karakteristiek chalet dat toch van alle moderne gemakken is voorzien. Wij hadden met 8 personen een comfortabel verblijf. De ligging is gunstig ten opzichte van dorp en de skilift, die zorgt voor de aansluiting met bijna 600 km skipistes. We zijn goed opgevangen door de buren, het Engelstalige paar Katherine en Kevin. Indien nodig zullen zij altijd voor de gasten klaarstaan. Deze skivakantie was voor herhaling vatbaar. Rob Muntendam

Nous avons passé la semaine de Noël au chalet Chadele et nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. Toutes les conditions étaient réunis pour nous permettre de profiter de ce magnifique chalet , spacieux , confortable et convenant parfaitement pour les 8 personnes que nous étions. L'ambiance est familiale, sa situation géographique est parfaite pour profiter au maximum du domaine skiable et en plus nous avons eu beaucoup de neige , ce qui a donné de la magie supplémentaire aux enfants. L'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, leur écoute et leurs conseils précieux nous ont permis de gagner du temps et de profiter de notre séjour au maximum. Je recommande vivement cette location.

Gîte très agreable

Nous avons passé des très bonnes vacances des printemps!! Plusieurs promenades à faire près du village, des très bons produits locaux à manger, plusieurs commerces, même une crèche à 10 minutes du village qui recevait notre enfant pour une journée, pour pouvoir faire de canyoning!!! Tout parfait, des très bonnes vacances Les propriétaires ont été toujours disponibles et joignables au téléphone pour tous les renseignements, très sympatiques La chalet est très bien equipée, il ne manquait rien, on se sentait chez nous!!! Merci M et Mme Monvoisin, on a passé des très bonnes vacances, à refaire,, et à tester le chalet en hiver

Chalet très agréable à vivre qui a une âme.

Excellente semaine au chalet Chadèle. Nous étions 4 adultes et 4 ados et nous n'avons pas manqué d'espace. Le chalet est fonctionnel, propre, bien équipé . Aucun problème à l'arrivée et au départ. Le hameau dans lequel est situé le chalet est très calme , proche de la fruitière (miam...) et on y croise de belles poulettes! Très bon contact avec les propriétaires. Vallée magnifique et préservée.

Notre séjour s'est très bien passé. La météo n'a pas été très clémente mais nous étions ravis de nous retrouver en famille pour une soirée dans un chalet très chaleureux et parfaitement dimensionné pour 4 adultes et 4 enfants. Le dernier jour au soleil nous a permis d'apprécier le balcon exposé sud pour un moment de détente avant de repartir sur les pistes! Tous les voisins sont très sympas, la navette à deux pas et les commerces à proximité immédiate. Exactement ce que nous recherchions. Merci!

Joli chalet, ambiance familiale, arrangé avec goût, chaleureux, cosy, spacieux. Chalet très bien pensé coté pratique, retour du ski. Rien à dire coté entretien, chalet bien entretenu. Beaucoup de domaines skiables très proches, accès aux différents départs de stations très faciles, pas de problème de stationnement, pas d'embouteillage. Très beaux paysages ou ballades à faire. Accès magasins du village à pied proches. Ballade chez un producteur de fromage, ballade en raquettes. Nous pouvons recommander ce chalet sans problème; il mérite ses 5 étoiles!

Sehr gemütliches Chalet !

Das Chalet "Chadele" in La Chapelle d'Abondance ist wirklich super gemütlich ! Es steht ruhig aber zentral am Ortsrand. Es ist absolut komplett ausgestattet, sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Mit den Küchenutensilien kann man wirklich jedes Gericht zubereiten. Es ist ersatunlich, wieviel Bäder/WCs auf kleinem Raum vorhanden sind . Wir kommen bestimmt noch mal hier her ! Unser Herbergsvater Herve' hat uns noch viele Tips gegeben ... vielen Dank !

Super séjour dans un chalet d'exception et de caractère

Le chalet est en tout point conforme à l'annonce. À notre arrivée le chalet était dans un état impeccable. Le chalet est tout à fait adapté pour 2 couples et 4 enfants. Entièrement équipé, wifi disponible. Ce chalet à une âme. La décoration est élégante. Un véritable lieu de cocooning lors des journées de mauvais temps. J'ai apprécié la vaisselle décorée très certainement par les propriétaires. Proche des pistes. Le domaine skiable des Portes du Soleil est vaste et offre des pistes d'une grande diversité. Je recommande tout particulièrement les secteurs de Morgins et Torgon en Suisse et Avoriaz pour le grand ski. Pour les non skieurs promenades et randonnée en raquette vous permettent de profiter d'une montagne sauvage. Pour les débuts de soirée, descendez au fer rouge pour déguster leurs bières maison.
