Bright penthouse apartment 125 sqm + 3 private terraces overlooking the Duomo, 5 + 1 beds. 50 meters from Piazza Duomo, 2nd floor (top), without lift. 55 comfortable steps. 3 bedrooms, all with air conditioning (2 double with AC + 1 single with air conditioning) + 1 single sofa bed in a double bedroom, 2 bathrooms with shower and windows, 3 private terraces with views. All bedrooms and bathrooms with mosquito nets and anti mosquito lamps.
The bedrooms are 1 double with 1 double bed or 2 single beds, 1 single room and 1 terrace room with 1 single sofa bed and 1 double bed (it is not possible to have 2 separate single beds). There are no sofa beds in the living room and this is not possible
Services: Wi-Fi without adsl limits, pocket wifi, Netflix, air conditioning in all bedrooms, 1 fan, heating, dishwasher, oven, washing machine (and soap), dryer, food processor, electric oven, microwave oven , moka, electric kettle, electric machine, iron and ironing board, toaster, LED satellite TV, espresso machine and American coffee machine, 3 terraces equipped with table, chairs, candles and sun loungers. Mosquito nets (there is no mosquito around the apartment because every winter there is pest control in this area). Welcome snack and 1 welcome bottle of wine, welcome orange juice or Coke and gas water. Welcome Nutella and jam. Welcome soap, body lotion and shampoo, 1 baby bed and 1 baby high chair are available and free on request.
Next to the apartment at 20 meters there is a garage where you can park your car for a fee at about 25 euros per night, you can ask on your arrival. Bus stop 10 meters from the apartment. Nearby: museums, central station, markets, shopping centers, tourist office, restaurants, pizzerias, banks, bicycle rental, post offices, pharmacies, bars and pubs, gyms, etc. All the services you like (chef on request, massages, tours etc.).

Great apartment at optimal location

We very much enjoyed staying at this location, close to the Duomo. It was very relaxing coming back from a day of exploration. Air-conditioned rooms to cool down and three balconies to have a beer after a shower. Great host who helped us out organizing a few things.

Long weekend in Florence

We travelled as a family 3 adults and 1 child. Initially we were looking at hotels but decided it was working out too expensive so we decided on an apartment. When we came across this apartment we were blown away by the view of the Duomo and looked no further. Situated very centrally but on a fairly quite street with a very good breakfast/lunch cafe a couple of doors down we found it to be perfectly located. Once our booking was confirmed Marianna was very quick to respond to any messages. She was kind to assist with travel advice (which was most helpful) and think she would be more than willing to help with anything you require. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you could need and more. The listing does state that there are lots of stairs to the apartment (which is very true and quite tiring to climb after a busy days walking!) BUT well worth it for the view of the Duomo dome that it gives you. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Grazie Marianna

Peaceful retreat in central Florence

Arrival all went to plan. We were met at the apartment by Marianne. She had lots of extras in the tastefully decorated rooms. The three balconies were beautiful for breakfast and drinks between excursions. The tea bags, coffee ,sugar and fridge of drinks and biscuits were much appreciated. Plenty of cups, glasses, plates and bowls were provided. Very like home from home. Full range of bath products and plenty of towels.Only drawback is the 5 flights of stairs and no lift. We moved twice into apartment with heavy suitcases, as had a wedding in villa outside Florence in middle of our stay. But added to the quirky nature of this beautiful apartment. The bedrooms are a split floor level and can hear other members in your party moving around. We would return. This is a lovely retreat from the busy city.

Amazing location for visiting Florence

Beautiful, clean, great location

Mariana was outstanding in her communication with us. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect for getting around. There were lots of great restaurants close by. The host was outstanding with recommendations for restaurants. I would highly recommend this place and would love to go back!

Beautiful flat in Florence!

Myself and two longtime friends stayed in this flat. The first thing we noticed as we entered was how VERY CLEAN and well-appointed it was. We were quite pleased and appreciated this! Thank you Marianna! The flat was spacious, we each had our own bedroom; the kitchen had everything we needed. Marianna had a bottle of wine and other beverages for us and some yummy snacks to get started. The place has 3 terraces, but we found ourselves using the one off of the kitchen the most - coffee in the morning, a bite to eat, and enjoying a glass of wine and the view. We felt very safe here and it was quiet. Marianna was attentive but not intrusive. She checked in with us periodically to make sure we had what we needed. Upon request, she scheduled a taxi ride for us to the train station when it was time to leave. She also had a space for us to store our luggage after we checked out before our train ride back to Rome. There is no lift up to the flat. This was NOT an issue for us; for others it could be. This flat is well cared for and loved. We treated it like we would our own home. Would definitely recommend Marianna’s flat and would stay here again. Thank you Marianna!! We loved our stay!

Beautiful apartment, exactly as described. A close walk to everything. Marianna bent over backwards to help us. Will stay here again. Really loved it. (There's a children's school sharing the square, can get raucous during the day. But bedrooms are extremely quiet if you need a nap.)

A great apartment and location. The view is spectacular from the balconies (of which there are three)! Marianna was a great host and very thorough in her communication for check in/out as well as recommendations for activities in Florence. The hoist we well appointed with everything you’ll need. Great family place in central location

We cannot say enough good things about our stay in Florence! Marianna was an amazing host that ensured we had everything we needed and she quickly jumped on any issues that came up. The views from the upstairs bedroom are amazing both day and night! The apartment is centrally located so that you can stop back by during the day for a break. The grocery store are numerous restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

Fantastic location and excellent communication

Our host provided us all the information we needed well before our arrival. Communication was always prompt and thorough. And the location is hard to beat: 3 minutes walk to the Duomo but out of heavy foot traffic. As you can see from the pictures, the view was amazing, and mornings sipping coffee on one of three patios while listening to the bells chiming was sublime. We'd recommend the location to anyone.
