Casa dos Manos is an 80m2 wooden house and has two bedrooms, both with double beds.
The villa has a bathroom with a hydromassage shower and outside there is a hot / cold shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your meals, a living room with dining area and a balcony where you can relax in the surrounding volcano crater and dine.
Car hire is advisable to move around, has the ease of parking within the property.
In about 5 minutes walk from the house you will find supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and all the services that the village of Furnas has to offer. The villa is 7 km from the beach (about 10 min by car) and 3 km from Furnas Lagoon. In this wonderful place, you will have the opportunity to be in deep contact with nature and rest while charging batteries.

Cozy Furnas Cabin

Lovely and cozy home. Amazing views of the valley and hills. Fast, easy, and friendly communication with Maximiliano. Ideal host! Well stocked home with everything you need for cooking, and great wood burning stove. We enjoyed Furnas very much! Will return again!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Max was very helpful before we arrived at the property, as our flight was rescheduled. Beautiful views from the patio and living room. We would recommend that you provide a portable heater for the bedrooms, during the cooler weather. Also, you should provide tourist brochures/maps etc., along with a binder with helpful information on how to use the appliances, TV, etc. Lovely space. Short drive to market and local restaurant. Max was a wonderful host.

Zum Wohlfühlen für Klein und Groß!

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, dass sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet ist. Ruhig gelegen mit vielen Freizeitmöglichkeiten bietet es für individualreisende Familien einen tollen Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten. Wir und unsere Kinder (2 & 10 Jahre) haben uns schnell heimisch und rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Grundstück ist durch ein Tor zur Strasse hin abtrennbar. Vermieter Max war stets erreichbar und stand für Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Kontakt auf Englisch sehr gut möglich. Ca. 1 km entfernt von zwei kleinen aber gut aufgestellten Supermärkten. Weiterempfehlung 100%

Etwas abseits des Stadtzentrums, Tür an Tür mit der einheimischen Bevölkerung, das Bäckerauto kommt morgens und der Melonenmann am Abend... idyllischer geht es kaum! Sehr großzügige Wohnfläche mit moderner Ausstattung. Organisation ging reibungslos. Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt!

Lovely cottage with fantastic view

Lovely cottage with fantastic view on hill just above Furnas and close to calderas on east side of town. House is very well kept, clean, and furnished with everything you need. It takes only a few minutes to get to anywhere in Furnas--great location! We enjoyed our stay!

Superbe endroit, j'y retournerai sans hésiter !

L'emplacement de ce chalet est vraiment top, légèrement en rentrait du centre-ville, on est au calme. Et que dire de l'environnement, légèrement en hauteur, il est vraiment agréable d'apprécier l'atmosphère de bon matin et en fin de journée. Le chalet est récent et très bien équipé et décoré avec goût. Merci encore pour l'accueil !

It's a very cosy house in the middle of the island

The house is cosy and it has everything you need. It's a good place in the middle of the island to explore the island by car. Also is Furnas a highlight of Sao Miguel. Furnas is not a village/city for a night out, than you have to go to Ponta Delgada. I recommend this house because of his space, place on the island and the facilitations it has.

La maison est très agréable, bien aménagée avec goût. L'environnement est un peu bruyant malgré tout. Idéalement située, a 5 minutes à pied des fumerolles et 10 du centre ville. Le propriétaire est attentionné et bienveillant.

Relax assoluto

Abbiamo trascorso 6 giorni fantastici e molto rilassanti in questa bella casa dotata di ogni comfort e di una superlativa vista sulla Valle di Furnas. La casa si trova in una zona molto tranquilla, ma vicino ha ristoranti, supermercati e le terme. Avendo la macchina, é stato anche un ottimo punto di partenza per numerose visite e passeggiate. Il retro della casa ha un bello spazio con barbecue per poter trascorrere del tempo fuori, ma purtroppo non lo abbiamo potuto usare molto per il tempo piovoso. Il proprietario, Max, é stato molto accogliente e sempre disponibile e discreto. Consigliamo questa casa a chi vuole trascorrere una bella vacanza rilassante in mezzo alla natura.

Comfortable home in a great location

This is a new home that is very clean and comfortable. The owner, Max, was very helpful and polite. He spoke English well and also left us a map of the island and brochures for tourist activities. The location is perfect for those who have rented a car and want to use the house as a home base while exploring. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The views were amazing, especially on cold nights while sitting next to the fire place. We stayed at another Home Away while in the Azores which wasn't nearly as nice as this home. We highly recommend the house.

Estadia 5 Estrelas. Moradia localizada na entrada da vila das Furnas o que até acaba por ser melhor dado ser mais calmo e numa rua que passa poucos carros. Fui recebido pelo proprietario que apresentou a casa, a mesma encontra-se nova , toda feita em madeira e com uma excelente decoração. Como extra tinha compota regional, torradas e um licor o que é sempre um pormenor a registar. Optima vista nas traseiras, ideal para refeições. Para amantes da natureza.

I am a native of the Island of Santa Maria (Azores), although I have been living on the island of São Miguel for about 15 years. I am a physical education teacher and I have two children.

Why they chose this property

The brothers' house was built by us, and the works started in December 2015 and the work was finished in August 2015. It is a wooden house totally designed to provide pleasure to those who choose to visit us. The decision to build in Furnas was easy, since it is a unique place in the world where contact with nature is permanent.

What makes this property unique

The location of the property is very good, allowing a view over the famous fumaroles and the whole valley of the furnas. We are just a few minutes walk from the center of the village of Furnas, as well as the famous fumaroles or other attractions such as the Terra Nostra park and the Poça Dona Beija hotsprings. A few kilometers away you can find a beautiful beach (hot shore beach) and a golf course. Walks or bike rides will be opportunities to feel in a fantastic environment where the volcano's crater surrounds us and allows us to relax and recuperate energies.
