Home with boat dock in the Southern Everglades, among the 10,000 islands. Great for fishing, camping and exploring the land and sea. THE WAY THE KEYS USED TO BE, warm SALT and fresh-water Everglades wilderness, 10,000 islands.

Remodeled 3 bedrooms with new 2022 Premium Mattress (incl Purple) refresh, 2 full baths, large front deck with shaded PERGOLA. Double wide, permanent trailer on wide corner lot. Tiled floors throughout-nice open kitchen with range and oven opens to the great room. Redone both baths. Freshly painted inside outside. Fully furnished. Sleeps 6 to 8. Master suite offers king size bed/walk-in closet/private bath. The guest bedroom has queen size bed. 3rd bedroom offers full-size couch/futon bed plus bunk bed. Internet. Spacious guest bath. Home is located in Chokoloskee marina village with a private deeded dock with associated marine gas and launch. FISH/KAYAK/BIRD watch.

WALK to Smallwood museum (famous site of local pioneer history) and Havana Cafe -BEST SEAFOOD -BEST STONE CRAB in season. Local restaurants offer fresh seafood and local STONE CRABS. Near (bikeable) Historic Everglades City and National Park and general aviation paved airport.

Short 30-minute drive to Naples (shopping), Marco Island (beaches) and 1 hour to Miami / Ft. Lauderdale airports and action. Close by "fast-cat" boat ride to Key West. This is a perfect spot to relax, fish, explore and enjoy the LAST FLORIDA, NOT DEVELOPED area.

The accommodations are not high end, and there were a few things that could use updating but all the basics were covered and it is spacious with an excellent location! We had a fun family vacation.

We were two families with a gaggle of kids and two dogs. There were plenty of sleeping spots, nice cool ac, and everything we needed for the weekend. We enjoyed being able to walk to the historic Smallwood Store.

This is our sanity spot, get away. We visit it regularly but want to share with you. We are working professionals. It is 5 hours from our mid-state permanent home.

Why they chose this property

America's warm weather wilderness. Located at the very southern tip of the state, among Everglades National Park in the calm marine environment. Alligators don't exist in this marine type location, just birds and fish.

Family friendly. Lots of room.
Three bedrooms, 2 baths, large dining, living, and kitchen. the unit has two queen beds in separate rooms and a twin bunk bed with an extra futon in the 3rd room. Three adults or 2 couples sleeping together and the futon with bunks bedroom. More? I'd suggest co-renting with Parkway Motel (trailers, cottage, and rooms) that's just steps from our place. Always warm and sunny. The last tropical undeveloped area in South Florida. Right next to Everglades National Park, 10,000 islands and historic Everglades City. Boating, fishing, kayaking, hiking, birding, sunsets. Explore the vast salt and freshwater wilderness. 1/2 hour commute to golf, the Beaches of Marco Island, Naples luxury shopping, 1 1/2 hr by car to the world famous party scene of Miami/South Beach and Key West (via Marco Is. ferry).
