Bearstone Cabin .. Cozy rustic cabin in the City of South Lake Tahoe California. Awesome location with updated amenities with the charm of a century old cabin feel. This cabin has the space you need as it was well thought out for the maximum usage, with lots of storage for your needs and plugs for your gadgets too. Full Kitchen, with Nice Stainless Steel refrigerator, oven and cooktop, also has microwave, coffee maker, toaster and gas bbq grill. Nice Granite countertops with eat at bar. Nice Beds: Queen-size bed in upstairs bedroom. Full size bed with twin bed in the loft area upstairs. All of the mattresses are nice and comfortable. Also updated all of the appliances, fixtures and many of the details of the entire cabin. Double pane windows with one touch window coverings. Has a Washer / Dryer, but it is only an apartment sized, so please do not overload. Pine trees surround the lot, with a glimpse of Heavenly Ski mountain through the trees. About half mile to Heavenly Village and Casinos. Less than half mile to lake beach. Many restaurants within 2 or 3 blocks. You will enjoy relaxing here, it is conveniently located to all that Lake Tahoe has to offer. Really nice neighbors too, say hello when there. The rental has a maximum occupancy of 4 people with a limit of 2 vehicles. SLT Permit #332512. Last minute stay okay, email me for these rates and availability. This rental fee does NOT include the cleaning fee. Please be clean and respectful to the cabin to keep the fees low and affordable. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay. The host contacted us a few days before and provided check-in information well before we arrived. The cabin is tidy, cute and perfect for two adults and two kids under 12. The kitchen had everything we needed, and tools were available to clean snow from the porch and drive way (if needed). Overall, 5 out of 5 - we couldn't have been happier at the Bearstone Cabin.

The host Daniel was EXCELLENT. He always responded quickly. The home is BEAUTIFUL. He even had his snow plow guy clear the driveway for us twice. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night with his help. WE WILL be back sooner than later. I HIGHLY recommend it

Clean and well-appointed cabin with bear ornamentation everywhere one might put a bear. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walk over to Thai on Ski Run for a fantastic dinner.

The cabin is small, cozy and it's nice to have a half bath upstairs. Two suggestions: Have two coffee pods available for guests that may be used on the first morning before shopping for more. Also, more instructions on using the cooktop or a website which may help those unfamiliar with the particular appliance.

Why they chose this property

This Property has been in the family for many years. It was shared by a few families before we took over entirely and turned it into a vacation rental. Nicely updated with modern amenities with the feel of the old cabin charm. We still love coming here after all these years too and appreciate you treating Bearstone Cabin with the upmost respect so we can keep the rates low and affordable.

What makes this property unique

Feels like a cabin in the woods but we are located in the city of South Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe is all about exploration, recreation, relaxation, and inspiration. Come and have fun for the winter, spring, summer or the fall, always something to do here!
