You will love this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condominium right on what is considered the best beach in the Puerto Vallarta area. This area of Mexico is very safe for tourists and added security is provided by guarded entrances at both the street and beach. There are sidewalks and paths for walking and jogging to the marina one way and to the nearby town by the other. Not a walker? the bus or taxi for a short ride to the authentic stores and restaurants or to the nearby shopping mall with cinema and WalMart!
The complex has two large pools and a kids shallow pool, plus a soccer field, mini-golf, tennis courts, gym and lending library - all free to guests. The beach has lounges and chairs and palapas for shade - no need to sit on the sand or lug your own equipment. The hosts provide a cooler but the on-site restaurant offers economical food and drinks by the pool or right on the beach. Jet Skis, para-gliding, banana boats and beachside massages are available at an extra cost.
Your hosts make available a large gas barbecue, boogie boards, beach towels, board games and cooler. The condo has two flat screen televisions with satellite plus a blue-ray/DVD player. The living room television is also a Smart TV to connect to your Netflix, YouTube, Amazon accounts. The kitchen includes all appliances and all the pots, pans, dishes, silverware and linen you will need. The large balcony has a beautiful view of the pools, gardens and ocean.
You will want to make this an annual visit.

An amazing place to stay!

This vacation was so fun and it had a lot to do with where we stayed. The property managers were easy to communicate with and we loved their place! The location, amenities, and atmosphere were fantastic! We’d definitely love to stay here again.

Amazing first trip to PV

Our family of 4 was really comfortable in this 2 bedroom condo with everything well stocked -we felt totally at home because we found everything we usually have and need.The location is great too! Beach was not at all crowded - it is just far enough away from the busier public access beaches. However, you'll need to ensure you get some groceries on your way in (oxxo convenience store is 15min walk, MEGA supermarket is a 10 min drive). We didn't have a car, and Ubers are a bit less frequent than in downtown. Just needs a bit of planning ahead, and we enjoyed many home cooked meals after that!

Amazing Family Vacation!

Our stay was amazing! My family had a wonderful time in this very spacious condo. It was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our time at this beautiful beach location. The owners made the process easy and effortless. They were quick to reply to our questions and gave us all the information we needed to know about the condo and the location. Besides the condo being great, the location had beautiful swimming pools, delicious food at the restaurant (plus it was very affordable), and a peaceful beach with plenty of palapas and beach chairs. My family loved our time there!

Excellent vacation rental

Upgraded unit in an older resort with great beach access. Amazing amenities, very well equipped with new appliances (washer/ dryer, dishwasher, stove). Everything you needed to start a lengthy holiday without having to rush out to a supermarket! Particularly appreciated the large Webber BBQ. Did not really need to contact owner but when we did, very prompt. We were a couple but unit very suitable for a family with kids or another couple. We would certainly book this unit again if it was available.

Fantastic!

We were fortunate to stay in this condo for four weeks over the Christmas/New Years holiday. We've stayed at many VRBO properties and this was by far the most well equipped, cleanest and wonderful property we have ever stayed at! Carlos was very responsive to any questions I had. The photos in the listing are exactly as shown but don't really do the condo justice because it's so amazing! It is a perfect place to stay for a long term vacation. The location is in a great spot - quiet but a walk or very short cab ride to shopping and restaurants. Everyone we met, from staff at the resort to other vacationers, were very, very friendly and helpful. I really can't say enough about how wonderful this condo is and we hope we can return some day!

Great Condo!!

We have stayed in several VRBO but this unit was the best by far. It was very well-stocked. There was everything you could possibly need, right down to the Scotch tape, scissors and even clips for your open bags. They thought of everything! The condo was absolutely spotless and the beds very comfy. You will never find nicer people than the owners, Carlos and Kathy, whom we had never met before renting their condo. They speak Spanish and are so willing to help you with everything. Another big plus is the WiFi in the unit never once kicked out in the 36 days we stayed there. My husband said the barbecue on the deck was one of the best he has used. There isn't one negative thing to say about this condo. I especially liked the combo lock on the door and there is even a place to safely store your valuables. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. No need to get up early to save a palapa on the beach as there are several. A great place to sit and watch a steady stream of walkers and all of the parasailers, windsurfers, Sea-Doos...... just a wonderful source of entertainment when you aren't out and about doing something. We will certainly miss Kathy and Carlos but plan on keeping in touch.

Fabulous condo, left us wishing we could stay longer!

Just returned home after having the pleasure of staying in this condo for one week. It was just as the pictures show, very clean, modern, and everything included that you would need for your stay. The kitchen was stocked with all the modern appliances, cookware, utensils, and some spices. There are two full bathrooms that were complete with modern fixtures, towels, hair dryer, soaps and shampoo. Both bedrooms have nice sized closets and dressers, and there is also an ironing board and iron. Although there is air conditioning in the unit we found that it wasn't needed as there was always a nice breeze coming in through the two sets of patio doors. The grounds and pools are very well maintained and secure, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. You have your choice of two very large pools, or the beach area that has plenty of chairs and palapas. For shopping the Mega and Walmart are a very short cab ride, we shopped at the Mega and found everything we needed (alcohol to fresh produce, and meats). The staff at the front gate will call a cab and it was never more than a two minute wait. We walked north on the beach to Bucerias and would cab it back for 80 Pesos. We had a fabulous week and a big thank you to Kathy and Carlos for being such wonderful hosts.

Relaxing Vacation - Very nice condo and location

We stayed at Carlos and Kathy's condo for 18 nights. We appreciated the wine and margarita mix that welcomed us. We did not realize that it was actually their home so the kitchen had all the condiments and spices, paper products, cleaning supplies, etc. that you could want. The fridge was also stocked with items left behind. The pictures are what the condo looks like, except for the cabinets in the bedroom which are locked and not useable. Having the BBQ on the balcony was a plus. The entire complex is very clean and well maintained. The complex itself was fairly quiet. Noise could be heard during the day from the Riu Vallarta next door but it wasn't a problem at all. Access to the Mega was a 40 min. walk and a 85 peso taxi ride home. It was nice to be able to walk the beach in both directions for miles. The beach was not busy even with a couple of All Inclusive resorts close by. We did see dolphins swimming by regularly and manta rays swimming in the waves. We took taxi's quite a bit to go to Paradise Village and Bucerias and found lots of good restaurants. A walk to Bucerias down the back path took 30 min. The price of restaurants was great, and most meals we shared as there was lots to eat. The restaurant at the complex was great for breakfast and lunch and Oscar was very helpful and informative.The only downside in the condo was a water leak under the washing machine which came from the drain from the upstairs condo. We were told not to use the washer and they held off repairing it until after we left. One of the reasons we chose the condo was because of the in suite laundry. We could take our laundry to the complex laundromat for free, however, I don't dry most of my clothes so that didn't help me. The maintenance staff came by many times to investigate the cause of the problem and we were on the phone with Kathy throughout the process. Overall, I would recommend the condo to family and friends.

Beach Holiday

My wife and I just spent the month of Nov 2018 at Kathy and Carlos condo. The hosts were wonderful and responded to any requests that we had. The condo was nice and was perfect for the two us. The balcony has a nice cafe table with 4 chairs and a Weber BBQ. We did have a visitor for a week and having the extra bathroom was quite handy. There are 2 boogy boards to use, and with the waves in the afternoon, they came in handy at the beach. There was always a lounger and palapa/umbrella for us to use on the beach or at the pool. The pools were always warm. The little snack shack at the pool was very handy for lunch breaks. The staff were very nice and polite, helping us with our very limited Spanish! They also visited us when we decided to stay on the beach, offering us drinks or snacks, at very resonable prices. We walked to the Mega to do our grocery shopping, which was about 35min away. There are a couple of ATM's at the Mega, (we used the HSBC), and they charge $5.00 (Cdn) per withdrawal with rates that were comparable to the RBC at home. We always used Mexican pesos at restaurants or shopping. On a side note, when walking in the area, be aware of the sidewalks, as they are quite uneven in a lot of places and can trip you up. Escpecialy if you are gawking at the wildlife! We took a cab back to the condo, and they are quick and resonably priced. There are a ton of restaurants in the Bucerias area. We found the best way to travel around is by taxi, then walk around and e. They are very clean and quick. Just remember to keep pesos in smaller denominations as change may not be readily available. During our stay we had one complete day of rain, otherwise it was +29-30 C and sunny everyday. Ocean water was very warm and fun to swim in. The RIU next door was no problem as they shut down their music around 9:00 pm or so. There is an exercise room on site. It has a couple of treadmills and stationary bikes. There is also tennis courts and mini golf on site to use. There is always security guards around the premises. There is a Drug Store/Pharmacy about a 15 min walk up the road past the RIU's, in case you get sunburnt or need some bandaids etc. The Flamingos Beach and Golf Resort is very well maintained and even has a couple of resident iguanas! If you are looking for a beach holiday where the sand is only 1 minute from your room and you want to make your own meals, you won't go wrong staying here. We would definitely come back here.

What a gem!

It's tempting to keep this condo a secret! :) Kathy and Carlos were responsive and provided info from the moment of booking and throughout our stay. The accommodations were comfortable and they provided all necessities, plus many extra comforts for our family of four, including two sons (20yo and 17yo) We alternated our days by staying at the condo and enjoying the beach and pools with going out to PV and Bucerias, using Kathy and Carlos' recommendations. We loved using the boogie boards available at the condo. The size of the condo and condo unit were perfect for our family, cozy compared to the big hotels/condos along the beach. The staff at the complex were friendly and helpful, as well as the other guests. We are already talking about when we can return!

Christmas in Bucerias

We had a great time! The condo was equipped with everything we needed. The food and service at the pool restaurant was super good. We went out to Bucerias for dinner each night and danced the night away at Jax bar. The only issue we had was figuring out how to get the main TV to work. Pretty sure the remote is broken. But that’s minor since we were in paradise! We would love to come back! 💜

Condo exactly as described. Great beach!

The condo is exactly as described. Actually, when we first arrived, my wife said the photos did not do the condo justice. Plenty of room, nice kitchen with everything you need and a great balcony. Owners were responsive and very nice. Condo complex is nice and staff very friendly and helpful. Pools are great. The beach is great. Clean with warm, calm waters. We went paddle boarding every morning. 80-120 pesos taxi ride to Bucerias or Nuevo Vallarta for dinner every night. Condo guards called taxis for us every night and the wait was never more than 1-2 minutes. I recommend this condo.

This was an ideal spring vacation for our family of four. The condo is well equipped with appliances and washer and dryer. The staff was friendly. The beach is beautiful with a private feel. We also took advantage of the tennis courts on the premises. I really enjoyed the overall low key feel.

It was Perfect!

What a wonderful place to stay in Paradise! Carlos and Kathy greeted us once we arrived and gave us the tour of the very well stocked condo. It had plenty of room the the two of us and could very comfortably accommodate four people. Carlos and Kathy made themselves available for any questions or concerns, of which there were none. What a beautiful area to relax in and explore. We will be back

What a Fabulous Condo in Nuevo Vallarta

First the property. The Flamingos Golf and Beach Resort is a very well maintained resort, located on a beautiful stretch of beach, with 2 beautiful free form pools, one heated, and a lovely little restaurant/bar , where Oscar and Donna will look after you. Prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent. Bucerias is about a 40 minute walk to the north and Paradise Village, the same time to the south. There are 2 tennis courts on the property as well as a mini putt and a Gym. And now our accommodation. Our hosts, Carlos and Kathy have a beautiful 2 bedroom/ 2 bath condo on the 4th floor. Their home offers a very spacious and comfortable living space in pristine condition. All the appliances are new, including a full sized washer and dryer. The Kitchen was so well organized with everything you need to cook a full course meal or just a casual snack. Each of the bedrooms as well as the living/dining area had air conditioning units, which we didn't need as there was a wonderful breeze during the day and a cool 68 degree sleeping temp at night. The flat screen TV/ Satelite system (Skye) had a little green button that changed Spanish to English which was great. The master bedrooms King sized bed was extremely comfortable, and there was lots of closet space. One of the most important areas to us is the outdoor space, namely the balcony. Fabulous. A bar style dining table and 4 chairs and a great Weber barbeque which we enjoyed immensely . With a view of Banderas Bay and a storage cupboard full of Boogie Boards, life was perfect. Carlos and Kathy were very reachable if there was an issue( which there wasn't) and we met so many of their friends, who come to Flamingos, year after year, because it is such a wonderful property. Shopping is a 10 minute bus ride to Mega at 8 pesos or 15 pesos to Walmart in PV. Both are great for groceries and liquor. I think you can tell by now that we had an amazing holiday at this property and we would recommend this highly to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.
