'Bayside Beauty' ~ North Shore 977 is located on the North side of the prestigious Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort. Destin beaches are known for their crystal white sand and turquoise Gulf waters of the Emerald Coast. This property is centrally located 2 miles away from The Village of Baytowne Wharf and 1.5 miles away from the beach access on the South side of the resort. Catch the free tram service to take you anywhere you want to go in the resort!

Enjoy this peaceful part of paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the Destin city-life while still being close to attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The 1,900 sq ft private townhome has three bedrooms, three bathrooms which sleeps up to 6 guests. Kick back and relax while enjoying the sparkling blues of the bay at your doorstep. Once inside, you will enjoy the spacious, bayfront living room with a huge flat screen TV and super high ceilings. A dining room table seats 6 and there are 3 barstools available. The stainless-steel appliances and fully-stocked kitchen are great for a home-cooked meal. Throw in some laundry in your full-size washer and dryer. Aztec influenced tile runs throughout the kitchen, dining room, and living room making cleaning up a breeze.

Your carpeted downstairs master bedroom hosts a king bed, perfect for lying in while watching TV. The attached bathroom has a single, extra long vanity space, toilet, and walk-in shower. Upstairs you will find another carpeted master bedroom with its own private balcony overlooking the bay. The king size bed and flat screen TV are ideal for mornings spent indoors. Private access is available to the master bath with a double vanity space, toilet room, and walk-in shower. Also upstairs, you will find your carpeted guest bedroom hosting a third King bed and their own TV. All the kids will enjoy this room with their own bathroom; a single vanity and tub are perfect for baths before bed.

Quiet location

Since it was Memorial Day weekend and the crowds were crazy we chose to spend our days by the pool which was close to the condo. The best part of our stay was the patio! We started & ended our days there. The breeze off the bay and the sound of the water will take away your stress.

Bayfront disappointment

Reviewer Comments: Rented property for a month based on quality of view and privacy. Unfortunately, condo was under renovation/construction, with many invasions of privacy (persons frequently on the upstairs balcony and enclosed porch; persons on ladders at window level). Views were blocked by workers and windows/porcg were taped and covered - blocking the view. Grounds were frequently covered in construction debris and unkempt. Management did not come to inspect and did not address concerns. Was never notified when cinstruction would be occurring, despite many requests.

Absolute Nightmare

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We woke up our first morning in the property to a construction crew climbing onto our bedroom balcony. A construction crew was working on the roof, which might have been bearable had it only caused noise, but the issue was a privacy and safety concern because they were accessing the bedroom balcony and throwing debris (nails, shingles, etc) onto the balcony and around all the exits, making it dangerous to stay and dangerous to leave. All exits were littered with nails, shingles, and other debris to the extent you could not avoid it while exiting. A nail went through my shoe while exiting which mercifully did not cause injury, but easily might have. We could not even use the bathroom due to it having a window through which the crew could see. Gibson Beach Rentals refused all responsibility for the condition of the property, claiming they had warned us of possible roof construction via a mass email (that went to our SPAM folder) and that that should have been sufficient notice. No text. No call. They claimed the email was all they were legally obligated to provide. We tried for three hours to get them to resolve the issue, to no avail. They wanted more money to relocate us and they refused to refund us. It was too dangerous to remain in the property due to the privacy and safety concerns, so we packed all our belongings and left that same morning. We have taken up the issue with VRBO who, thanks to the videos and photos we sent of the conditions, agrees we qualify for a full refund, which Gibson Beach Rentals has yet to provide. At the time I am writing this review, we have not received a single penny back. This is the most unprofessional and unethical company I have ever had the misfortune to work with.

Amazing!

I could not find anything to complain about. Waking up to the sunrise from my bed and the sunset on the master balcony was incredible. From the balcony we saw dolphins, stingrays and birds diving for fish. Everything was clean and maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Sweet condo

This was a sweet condo. Just perfect for the 6 of us. We had plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. We will rent again. The only minor issues were the ice maker and the toilets flushed very slow. My husband is a master plumber and he fixed the flow valve on one of them. That resolved that one. The ice maker has a drip causing the ice to freeze in one big clump. But those were very minor issues Overall it was an excellent place to stay

Comfortable relaxing visit

My gf and I stayed here for 5 weeks. She worked remotely and I fed the seagulls. You are about 5 feet from the water and about a 25 minute walk from Baytowne Wharf . Condo furnishings were comfortable. Wifi was excellent for my gf. Would stay again
