The place was perfect for our family of 7. Plenty of room for everyone and then some . The house is equipped with everything you may need ( or forgot!) I’d recommend this to anyone looking to get away from it all !
We had a wonderful stay at Joe’s Pond, aka hidden gem!
Home was comfortable and every amenity we could want.
Host was extremely attentive in providing clear, helpful instructions to ensure a smooth and welcoming arrival. Host was also very responsive to any/all questions we had.
Highly recommend this vacation spot to families who love a peaceful environment and hearing the call of the loons in the morning and dusk. I even kayaked at sunset with two loons!
We had a change of plans and had to find a place with less than 48 hours notice. This property had the exact dates open and we jumped on it. We love Joe's Pond and have been visiting family here for the last few years. Great house! Lots and lots of room for a large gathering. The owners are easy to get in touch with and respond quickly. So kind and accommodating.
Great and peaceful location, home comfortable and clean.

About the host
Hosted by Josh Jones and Margie Harper
We are three owners of our cabin. The camp was totally rebuilt from ground up in 2005
Why they chose this property
This was a place that is one of great properties on Joe's Pond located by West Danville which is the Northern Kingdom of VT, a special part of the state. My parents along with my Aunt and Uncle purchased our cabin back in 1980 and I have some of my fondest memories spending two weeks of every summer at Joe’s Pond with my California cousins. We have always said that this is God’s country and consider this one of the most special places on earth. We still make it back to the pond at least once a year in the summer.
What makes this property unique
Our new camp has been totally rebuilt with an eye on the old place but with special attention to modern comforts
