The apartment is new and is very pretty.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to serve. From the dishwasher, to the electric oven to the stove with 4 gas burners to the fridge with frizzer with 3 drawers, American coffee machine etc.
The apartment offers the possibility to accommodate up to 6 people. It has a double bedroom, and 2 comfortable double sofa bed (160 x 190) which are located in the great hall.
The apartment also offers you an additional possibility:
if you are a large family who do not want to sleep together in the hall
OR
you want to travel with other friends but you want to be independent
there is the possibility 'to join the apartment, with an internal staircase, with the one of the ground floor getting a whole apartment of about 110sqm.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Azalea! The check in process was easy, there is a walk down to the property like other reviews have mentioned, so be aware! Great communication, great suggestions for food or things to do in the area too. The property is beautiful, spacious, and clean! It has a beautiful view of the lake that we loved! We would definitely stay again at Casa Azalea.

Wonderful place with magnificent views

I don't have words to describe how we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place. The views from the balcony are stunning, the surroundings are wonderful and offer a lot of places to walk. The owner is very nice and friendly, and gave us a lot of tips what to see around. We already dream to come and hope to see you soon again!!!

Lake Como with a View

Fantastic apartment with a spectacular outlook over Lake Como. Quite a difficult drive up a winding road to reach. Fair walk to our accommodation but it was well worth the trouble. Extremely well equipped. Raffaella is a gem - couldn't have been more helpful.

Full success

The location of the holiday home a few kilometres north of Menaggio is ideal as a base and also offers a dreamlike view over Lake Como to the south. The evening atmosphere with a glass of wine on the flat's loggia is one of the unforgettable experiences after an exhausting day of excursions. The flat is very beautiful and excellently equipped. The hostess is extremely nice and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and will definitely come back.

Exceptional property with wonderful view.

New three story building with a fully equipped apartment on each floor. The living room and kitchen are expectional in size. Just 10 minutes from Managgio where you can catch the ferries to Bellagio and other lake Como towns and villages. The only downside is the property sits on a hill so it is not suitable for those than can not handle steps...were in our mid 60's and had no problem. Our host was great, friendly and kind plus spoke good English. We will definitely stay here again the next time in the Lake Como region!

Great view over Como lake in a big apartment

Reception by and communication via Whatsapp with Raffaella was great. Superclean large apartment and the covered balcony with beautiful lakeview is top (even in the rain). Everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook yourself is there. Only minus: from the house to the carpark is a heavy climb of 200 meters. The plus: you loose the calories of at least 1 glass of white wine for every trip:)

Close to Perfection

If this outstanding property is a 10, then the host Raffaella is an easy 11. Easily one of the most pleasant, charming, and helpful hosts we've ever come across. After getting the grand tour of her beautiful apartment, she gave us some very helpful information about navigating the exquisite waters of Lago Como and visiting the surrounding towns and villages. Our 2-day stay was as close to perfection as possible. Comfy bed, incredible panoramic views, and amazing location. A Climb To Perfection

Rafaela is a fabulous host. Apartment and garden are lovely and very spacious. It is, however, quite a challenge to actually get to the apt. There is a gardenlike/rocky steep path down to the house and numerous steps. Rafaela graciously helped us with our bags but I needed my walking poles to navigate. The car parking spot is in a separate location up the hill. We loved our stay but folks with disabilities, ill health or weakness would find the location difficult. The magnificent view and the graciousness of our host made the trek worthwhile for us tho. Rafaela even went out of her way to drop off some beach towels for us!!

Die Wohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Raffella war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht war wunderschön. Einzig der Fussweg zum Haus ist sehr steil.

Heerlijke plek aan het Como meer

Wat een geweldige tijd hebben wij als gezin gehad in de woning van Raffaela en haar man. Super vriendelijke mensen, staan altijd voor je klaar. Een goed uitgerust appartement met een verbluffend uitzicht. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het appartement was erg schoon en netjes. Het ligt tegen de berghelling in een klein schattig dorpje. Je hebt wel echt conditie nodig om tegen de berg op te komen maar het uitzicht is de klim meer dan waard. Voor de Nederlanders een tip: neem filterzakjes mee uit Nederland! Raffaela en echtgenoot, bedankt voor een onvergetelijk verblijf aan het Como meer!

Panorama mozzafiato

Le foto non rendono la bellezza di questi luoghi; bisogna solo andarci. L'appartamento poi è dotato di tutti i comfort e ci stanno comodamente 6 persone perché dotato di due divani letto e una camera con letto matrimoniale. Il terrazzo poi con quella vista vale tutto il viaggio. I sigg. Raffaella e Danilo ci hanno accolto benissimo e ci hanno dato delle informazioni preziose su cosa fare nei due gg a ns disposizione. Fantastico!!!!

Un séjour idyllique

Un appartement très bien tenu, très bien équipé. Une vue sur le lac et les montagnes dont on ne se lasse pas. Des propriétaires sympathiques (nous avons parlé ensemble en italien). Une maison au milieu des vergers et des potagers, avec des petits chemins traditionnels (très raides) qui permettent de faire beaucoup de déplacements à pied.

Alles super, sehr empfehlenswert

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter/in, sehr schöne saubere Wohnung mit Garten , gut ausgestattete Küche. Wunderbare Aussicht auf den See. Netter kleiner Ort ohne viel Tourismus. 2 kleine Mini-Läden für das Nötigste. Fußweg zum Badestrand (Kiesufer), Mini-Hafen, Beach-Bar ca 10 Minuten, aber sehr steil, gute Schuhe von Vorteil. Auch der kurze Fußweg zum Haus etwas steil und uneben. Das Haus liegt oben im Dorf mit kurviger Anfahrt, Parkplatz nicht direkt am Haus, aber viele kostenlose Plätze in der Nähe. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Many thanks to Raffaella, we had a wonderful week in June here.

Wir hatten ein paar wunderschöne Tage. Die Wohnung und der Garten viel schöner als auf den Bildern zu sehen ist, gut eingerichtete Küche.... Alles sehr sauber und der wunderschöne Blick auf de See... Erholsamer Urlaub

Schöne Unterkunft für aktive Leute (es ist teilweise ein wenig steil (Zugang zur Wohnung und im Ort). Als Urlauber am Comer See sollte man das aber wissen. Es war alles Notwendige vorhanden und auch mehr, nur deutsche TV - Programme haben wir vermisst. Lt. Aussage Raffaela soll sich im Winter 2018/19 hier etwas ändern. Die Vermieterin war freundlich und entgegenkommend, der Ehemann zudem hilfsbereit.
