Beautiful villa in a beautiful setting. Well equipped. Plenty of space, and lovely outdoor pool. A car is essential however, and the property has a number of steps so may not be suitable for small kids or people with poor mobility. We would stay again.

Atemberaubende Aussicht

Das Haus erfüllte alle unsere Anforderungen. Vom problemlosen Check-In und Check-Out, Sauberkeit, zweckmäßiger Einrichtung, beheiztem Pool bis zum atemberaubenden Ausblick waren alle von der Villa begeistert. Speziell für Familen mit Kindern ist ein Aufenthalt sehr empfehlenswert.

Extraordinary View

This villa is located in the perfect holiday destination, this part of Spain is stunning with breathtaking landscape and beautiful beaches so we absolutely loved our 2,5 weeks at Cumbre del Sol. The villa is located on the top of a mountain side with panoramic views, even more spectacular then shown in the pictures and you can enjoy this extraordinary scenery from both the pool area, the balcony and inside of the house. The villa is tastefully decorated, bright & clean and offers everything you could need to make you feel right at home. It has the best equipped kitchen of any rental property we have been in, our favourite was the coffee machine and the blender! Large pool to fit 4 teenagers and 2 adults, big patio with all day sunshine, plenty of comfortable seating & sun-loungers and my own favourite area the balcony, perfect place to have breakfast, lunch and evening drinks. We had great communication with the owner Geneviève and was greeted by Julie and her mum when we arrived, I also had some very helpful communication on WhatsApp with Julie through out our stay. Our favourite beaches Portet 10min drive, Arenal 20min drive and Cala del Moraig 14 min drive. Favourite restaurants Chabada, Masena, Restaurante La Cumbre and Restaurante El Portet. This is a place we highly recommended and will definitely visit again.

Perfect

We stayed the first week of May and asked for a heated pool. Our holiday was super! Breathtaking views and a very complete villa. We have enjoyed swimming (almost every day). A car is nescessary and than everything is nearby: restaurants, supermarkets , shops. We are thinking of coming back soon!

Une vue incroyable et magique

Bonne location, conforme à la description et aux photos. La vue mériterait quelques photos de plus tellement c’est beau. Villa bien équipée et tout confort. Magnifique terrasse et piscine grandiose. Excellente literie. Excellent séjour dans un quarter très calme, ce que nous recherchions. Merci à Jeanne qui nous a accueillis de façon très sympathique.

Zeer mooi uitzicht over vallei en zee

We hebben een hele reeks mooie foto's van de vallei en de zee, ook bij zonsondergang. De locatie is wat dat betreft niet te kloppen. Nadeel is dan wel dat je wat hogerop zit en een beetje verder moet rijden met de auto als je iets wil gaan eten, een uitstap doen of inkopen gaan doen. Wij hebben het huis geboekt begin november en het weer was helaas niet schitterend. De locatie van de woning (hoog en op uitloper van de berg) maakt dat de wind zich letterlijk boven het huis concentreert. Het heeft nagenoeg non stop gewaaid (en op dat moment noorden en oostenwind). Dus we moesten ofwel ons beschermen achter de zetels ofwel ons huis verlaten en naar lager gelegen gebieden gaan. Dat is dan natuurlijk sneu als je een villa met (verwarmd) zwembad huurt. 's Avonds moesten we bij verwarmen met elektrisch vuurtje om toch enigszins een gevoel van gezelligheid te creëren. Bij aankomst waren er al verschillende keukenzaken aanwezig : olie, peper en zout, koffie, blokjes voor de vaat, poeder voor de wasmachine enz. Dat is zeer prettig zodat je dat niet allemaal hoeft te kopen. Wij hebben in ruil onze resten ook laten staan. Er staat ook een koffiezetapparaat op koffiebonen, is zondermeer een surplus voor het ontbijt. Bedden en lakens van goede kwaliteit. Bij het binnenkomen een beetje een vochtige geur in het huis; is weggegaan na een paar dagen. Het gebouw is ook in de typische Spaanse stijl, met overeenkomstige afwerking. In deze periode is de El Cumbre niet bepaald een levendig gebied. Dus je gaat automatisch naar de nabijgelegen dorpen. Ik denk dat de woning prettiger verblijven is in de warmere maanden.

schönes Haus wundervolle Aussicht

Wir durften 12 Tage im Oktober in diesem schönen Haus verbringen. Die Aussicht ist noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Die Einrichtung traf genau meinen Geschmack. wir hatten noch nie ein Haus gemietet, dass eine so umfangreiche Ausstattung hatte. Wirklich top. Der beheizte Pool war sensationell. Unsere Kinder waren zu jeder Tageszeit im Pool ! Man benötigt leider für alles ein Auto , dass wäre als einziger negativ Punkt zu werten. Aber der Ausblick macht das wieder wett.

Beautiful location

We had a ten night stay at the villa this summer and had a great time. The place was clean, well furnished and very well equipped. It doesn't really come across in the listing but the views from the living room and outside space are spectacular - the villa overlooks Calpé and Peñon de Ifach (Calpé rock) and we spent many evenings on the upper terrace with this as a backdrop. Villa is situated within easy driving distance of Denia, Moraira and Calpé. A car is essential as the terrain is very hilly. Julia, the property manager, was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. We would heartily recommend this villa for family holidays in this beautiful part of Spain.

Lovely villa with amazing views and heated pool

Our family of four have just spent 12 days here. So many good things to say about this villa. Firstly, those views. The photos do not do it justice. It is simply breathtaking. We never got bored of looking out the window or standing on the terrace and taking it all in. The pool is heated, which was a must for us, as we came in May/June when the weather was still quite changeable and cool. The pool area itself is the best part of the villa. It is spacious, clean and has a large dining and BBQ area. Drop down a level via some steps and there is the added bonus of an artificial boules green which we had great fun in playing. The gardens are immaculately looked after and offer screening from other nearby properties. We did not feel overlooked at all and it was very private. The villa is located in a very elevated position (hence the amazing views so a car is a must. Local beach (L'Ampolla which is brilliant for families with young children) is about 10-15 mins by car. There are several local supermarkets within 5-10 min drive too. The local Mercadona was best for fresh fish and seemed cheaper than the Pepe La Sal nearby. Inside the villa is pretty well appointed. The master bedroom is on the 1st floor and there are two guest bedrooms on the ground floor at the pool level. The bathrooms were excellent with plenty of water pressure from the lovely showers (please note that neither bathroom has a bath). The kitchen, whilst a bit on the small side and probably in need of replacing soon, was very well equipped with plenty of good quality pans, cutlery and crockery available. Could do with supplying some sharp knives though! Everything was blunt. Only downsides (which stop me giving it five stars out of five) were the size and age of the kitchen (as mentioned) and also the smell of damp in the ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms. I believe the owners are aware of this as each bedroom had a small chemical dehumidifier placed (discreetly) under the bed. However, the smell was very noticeable, especially during the first few days we were there when it rained and we had to keep the windows closed. I dont think there would be an issue at all in the summer months as long as the air can be circulated properly. I should add that this would not stop us coming back, but worth noting if you plan to rent in the off season. Overall, a great holiday in the perfect location.

Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause, nur mit Meerblick

Die Villa ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles was man für einen zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt benötigt ist vorhanden und noch einiges mehr. Es gab keine Überraschungen bzgl. Beschreibung oder Sauberkeit, alles perfekt. Auch die Betreuung vor Ort ist sehr gut geregelt. Moraira ist eine schöne Stadt zum Shoppen und Essen, neben dem Strand in Cumbre del Soll gibt es noch andere tolle Sandstrände in der Umgebung z.B. Xabia. Tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten nach Valencia, Alicante, Guadelest und vieles mehr. Very tastful decorated, all necessary things are present. Villa as describe and very clean. Support on site ist very regulated.

Magnifique villa !

Satisfaction totale pour cette splendide villa à la déco sobre, cosy et moderne. Tout est là ! Il ne manque rien pour passer un superbe séjour. Et que dire de la piscine sinon qu'elle est grande et permet donc de nager. De plus, la maison et les extérieurs étaient d'une propreté irréprochable, nous n'avons donc que des compliments à faire aux propriétaires : bravo !
