Wooden villa between sea and forest near the Baie de Somme.

Built of wood, the house of 70 m2 is very bright, its many openings allow to enjoy the unobstructed view of the natural environment. The outdoor wooden space is several terraces and a sand space is arranged. The sea and the huge sandy beach are 500m walk.
Close to all shops, sports and leisure facilities (aquaclub, sand yachting, tennis, golf, acrobranche). Many cycle paths and hiking routes.
The house is rented weekly ONLY, from Saturday to Saturday.
Bed linen and towels are not provided.

A light filled property in walking distance of a huge sandy beach

We had a lovely late August break in this light and well equipped property in the sand dunes. Although you can hear the sea from the house, it doesn't have direct access to the beach, but it is only a short walk back through houses. Quend has a gentle seaside buzz with several restaurants, cafés, a small supermarket in town and a market on Mondays and Thursdays. A larger carrefour is a short drive away. Fort Mahon, the slightly larger town along the coast can be reached easily on foot via a path through the pine forest, and a stroll back along the huge sandy beach, which made a nice day out with lunch at one of many restaurants and a lovely bakery. Further south, a little steam train runs ftom Le Crotoy round the Somme estuary to St Valerie sur Somme. The property does have some steep steps inside and out. Two double bedrooms are upstairs with a single downstairs next to the bathroom and near the lovely open plan living space. Would definitely visit again.

Trotz Sprachbarriere eine super Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber durch Übersetzungs-Apps. Das Haus ist zwar etwas älter, aber sehr charmant. Es liegt direkt in den Dünen, aber es gibt keinen direkten Durchgang zum Meer. Zu Fuß ist man je nach Tempo 7-10min unterwegs. Es gibt eigentlich für jede Tageszeit einen Bereich ums Haus, der entweder sonnig oder schattig ist. Uns hat alles in allem alles super gefallen und wir überlegen jetzt schon wiederzukommen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub und die hervorragende Gastfreundschaft!

Schöner Familienurlaub

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft in Quend Plage. Die Nähe zum Strand und ins beschauliche Zentrum war für uns und vor allem die Kinder perfekt. Auch die Unterkunft selbst bot eine Menge an Spielmöglichkeiten bei schlechterem Wetter, z.B. durch ein toll ausgestattetes Kinderzimmer oder eine eigene Sandoase direkt neben der Terrasse. Auch der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war herzlich und wir bekamen tolle Tipps für Ausflüge.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage

Ruhiger Ort hinter den Dünen

Sehr schöne Lage dieses aussergewöhnlichen Hauses. Idealer Ort zum Entspannen. Wir waren aber im September dort, also nach der Ferienzeit im August. Das Haus liegt in einer Sackgasse, so dass nur Anlieger dort hin kommen. Sehr gut ausgestattet, erst recht in der Küche. Ein Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoß mit den Dachschrägen ist unbequem zu Nutzen und eher für sehr kleine Leute geeignet. Nette Übergabe und Abnahme durch Isabelle.

Schöner Sommerurlaub

Wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Alle notwendigen Utensilien/ Geräte waren vorhanden und es war sauber. Nur die Sitzmöbel im Außenbereich sollten erneuert bzw. erweitert werden und Sitzauflagen angeschafft werden. Wir hätten im Sommer gern mehr draußen gesessen. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön (weswegen wir es ausgewählt hatten). Man hatte absolute Ruhe und bis zum Strand war es nicht sehr weit.
