This cozy renovated one-bedroom, now with A/C, is ideal for 2-3 people who want to enjoy the beautiful beaches and adventures of Laie and the North Shore. And only an hour away from Honolulu, exploring Waikiki, Pearl Harbor or checking out other amazing things on the Island is easy.
It has a comfortable King bed and a memory foam sleeper sofa in the small living room. All linens and beach towels are provided. There are two showers- one outside and a spacious one inside. If you decide to cook during your stay, there is a kitchen with all the conveniences to do so. Equipped with strong Wi-FI, its a great fit for anyone working remotely.

Perfect Property For Us!

My wife and I stayed here during the month of November 2024 and had a wonderful time. This beautiful apartment was exactly what we were looking for. It’s directly across the street from Hukilau Beach and close to all the attractions important to us on the North Shore. Access couldn’t be easier to the property and Kelly and Drew are very accommodating hosts. We have visited Hawaii multiple times and hope to get back in the future. This lovely apartment will definitely be on our “must stay” list.

Great location and very nice!

Nice, clean and quiet for a couple. Right across the street from a great beach. Easy parking for rental car. Lots to see and do in northern Oahu. Nice change of pace from busy Waikiki area. Close to Polynesian Cultural Center, a must see!

This apartment is right across the street from the beach and is very convenient to the Polynesian Cultural center, the north shore, and many other attractions. The apartment is small, but had everything that we needed.

We found the property to be nice and clean and well supplied. Loved being across from a perfect beach for swimming and family play. the grocery was near by and many good eating places in the area so we didn't cook in the unit. Nice outside eating area and car parked inside locked gate.

Amazing in every way

I hesitate to say how amazing this place was because I’ll never be able to book it again due to the demand. Truthfully the best stay I’ve had in Hawaii. Super clean, quiet, location cannot be beat. Set up perfectly and the hosts couldn’t be better. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

Such an amazing stay

Kelly and her family were super accommodating. We loved that she had beach gear for us to use as getting on the beach was the first thing we wanted to do upon our arrival. We couldn't have asked for more for our stay. The house was clean, beds comfortable and we love the huge shower that awaited us after being on the beach. Parking is a big issue on the island so being able to park in their property and have the vehicle secure is an added bonus! We will recommend all our friends and family to stay here if they decided to visit the island!

Great place in Laie

This is a great apartment. It was actually a little bigger than I expected. The only downside was no microwave in the kitchen bit there were other appliances. The owners were responsive with questions and it was a great location. It was really nice to have some beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, umbrella, and boogie boards.

Beautiful property with exceptional housekeeping!

Clean rooms, comfortable bed, friendly and accommodating hosts. Secure parking, across from a beautiful beach. Loved the use of the beach chairs. Appreciated the air conditioning, fridge, and all the other amenities. Close to most of the activities/points of interest that we wanted to see. Honolulu only an hour away for the odd things that we were interested in seeing/doing there. We were more interested in the north shore and rural Hawaii. Would recommend this property.

Great stay on the North Shore

Great place to stay. The apartment is very nicely updated and quite comfortable. Also, it is extremely secure and private, as it is on a locked property. The owner was easy to work with and responded quickly to our questions and inquiries. They have several sets of beach chairs, snorkel gear, and other beach accessories available for guests to use, which was great since these are not cheap to buy in that area. Overall a great place for a couple to stay, and just a few steps from the beach across the street, and very close to the famous beaches of the north shore. What would be useful in the future is perhaps an extra hot plate for cooking, as it was a bit challenging to cook with only one, as well as some extra pots/pans. Would stay here again!

Great Place to Stay

We were in Laie for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay in this 1 bedroom apartment in a beautiful home. Perfect for the 3 of us, as our adult son was with us, too. Well-maintained, clean and modern and there is a very large shower both inside and outside and a large lanai/patio in the back which was great for eating outside. Right across the road from Hukilau beach which we went to one day and very near to the Polynesian Cultural Center where we also spent a day. The north shore surfing beaches are also just a short ride away and watching the pro surfers in December was awesome. Kelly was a great host, very helpful and was quick to provide us with extra chairs and an umbrella for the beach. We would recommend this property to a couple or 3 people without hesitation.

Highly recommend this VRBO

I highly recommend this VRBO for a couple, or small families of 2 adults and 1 teen, or 2 adults and 2 small kids. Very cozy with all the amenities you need. It's a 2-minute walk to a huge/amazing beach and a 10-15 minute drive to the beaches on the North Shore. It also has a fenced-in driveway with a remote for the gate to a beautiful yard. Grocery stores like Foodland are just down the road, and it's within walking distance of the Polynesian Cultural Center. The owner (Kelly) is very friendly, and nice. Communication with her was easy if you need anything. Again, I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. A perfect location for a perfect vacation! Mahalo Kelly

Everything You Need

If you're looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep(with AC) in the perfect location...this is the place. (Be aware the fold out couch is just a loveseat, so the bed is a single.) Not much room for hanging out inside but there is a nice covered patio with a large picnic table. All the beach gear you need including chairs, and mat, towels, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. The beautiful sandy beach is right across the two-lane street. And there is an outdoor shower to rinse off before you go in. If you want to watch TV after a long day there is access to Disney Plus, Netflix and Hulu. There are basic kitchen needs and Foodland is one minute away. The bathroom has basic soaps and a hair dryer. This apartment is attached to the house(entrance around back). The hosts are gracious and attentive but not intrusive. I also loved having a place to park inside a gated yard.

A great rental...for a certain type of person

I'll start with the overwhelming positives: The property owners are super nice, and so are their four kids. Kelly was very good at getting back to us quickly, and was incredibly helpful and friendly. Another huge plus is the cleanliness. We really appreciated how clean everything was in the beautiful condo. They clearly put pride into this suite and it shows. The towels are fluffy and the bedding is soft. We also fell in love with the rainfall shower! We also liked the location, as we were just across the street from a great beach. They're also very close to the town of Laie, which has some great activities, though I'd stay away if you plan on going out for a drink, as it's a dry Mormon town. However, I do think it's important to say that this rental may not be for everyone. My husband and I were on our honeymoon looking for some quiet alone time, and there virtually wasn't a time during the day/evening that we couldn't hear the family in the house clear as day (the only time was Sunday morning, when I'm assuming they left for church for a while), or hear them walking/running above us. I could pick up complete conversations between the family members (and there are four kids including at least one young child, so it's a lot of people). It was hard watching TV because of the noise over the TV. However, when I texted the owner one time to ask about the noise, she did get everyone to quiet down, but I didn't want to constantly have to text them asking them to be quiet in their own home, so I left it alone after that. So, if you're looking for quiet, you may not find it here, as the walls seem to be very poorly insulated and the suite is right beside their kitchen. BUT some people may not need that and may be out doing activities a lot, so then this would be a great affordable solution. Additionally, the rental ad mentions a kitchen equipped with appliances and conveniences to cook. This is one of the reasons we rented this property, as we like to cook. However, there really isn't, to my knowledge, the appliances they're suggesting. There may be a hot plate, but there is no oven or stove, so baking anything is impossible. But again, if you're not needing an equipped kitchen and plan to eat out a lot, then that shouldn't matter. Anyways, I hope I've left a fair review. I really liked the owners, specifically Kelly, a lot and think this is a great choice in rentals IF you're the right type of guest.

Our many returning guests love the proximity to the beach and BYU-Hawaii. Also the accommodations are comfortable and relaxed.
