10 acre private ranch in the Coconino forest

1800sf luxury cabin in Coconino forest. Complete privacy with no close neighbors. 15 minutes from historic Flagstaff. This is our vacation home. It is well appointed and very comfortable - not just another rental.
Upstairs master bedroom w/ king bed HDTV . Full bath with soaking tub. Loft area w/ queen futon mattress. Lower level has king and queen bedrooms sharing full bath.
Great room with gas fireplace and HDTV.
Ceiling fans and air-conditioned
Laundry room w/ washer, dryer
6 top dinning table set.
Fully equipped kitchen w/dishwasher, microwave, Keurig and drip coffee makers, toaster, slow cooker, hand mixer and plenty of pans and bakeware.
Large front and back covered porches
Fenced back yard w/patio, patio heater, gas grill, and firepot for use when fires are allowed in the forest with a gas fire pit for when no burn orders are in effect. We even supply the firewood.

Patrick our host is outstanding!! He is very easy to communicate with and provides you with details about his home to make things easy. The cabin is off the beaten path with deer and elk coming to your back fence. But 10 miles away from stores and restaurants.The cabin is beautiful!! We loved our stay and will be back!!

My fourth (?) stay in this lovely cabin was every bit as wonderful as all past stays. Sooooo quiet for this city dweller, and the cabin is not just a rental, it is a home. All the comforts are there, down to the last detail. It feels so remote, yet not far from Flagstaff’s conveniences. A great place to unplug and relax. Bring your dogs! The yard is fenced and safe, and you can take long walks along the dirt roads. If I was to dream up a forest cabin for myself, this would be it.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in the cabin. The cleanliness sets this cabin apart from others. There were plenty of towels and bathroom products provided. The kitchen will not disappoint!!! Our host, Patrick is very responsive and cares that the stay meets every need. We brought our two dogs along. Pet items such as eating bowels, towels and a leash was handy. I loved the fireplace at night bc this Gilbert. Az girl is use to hot weather. It was a vacation that we will not forget.

Nestled on 10 private acres deep within the ponderosa pine forest, our cabin offered the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. You wake up each morning to the sounds of hummingbirds chirping (we did not know the did this), stellar blue jays, wind threw the pine, with morning and evening visits from cow elk herds grazing peacefully. The air was crisp, the weather ideal—warm sunny days followed by cool, star-filled evenings that make Flagstaff’s climate one of the most pleasant in the Southwest.Our days were filled with the kind of quiet serenity that’s increasingly rare. No traffic noise, no neighbors in sight—just us, the towering pines, and the soothing rhythm of the forest. The property feels wonderfully secluded and safe, a true private sanctuary where you could fully unwind, reconnect, and recharge. At the same time, you were conveniently close enough to town. A great stay. Definitely going back.

This property is beautiful! The ranch is located in a peaceful, quiet area with the national forest at its back door! We enjoyed the fire pit and the bbq all while listening to the wind whisper through the trees. Our dog loved the enclosed back yard and his daily walks in the forest.The kitchen was well stocked, and had all the pots and pans you could use, as well as a double waffle maker! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Patrick was very friendly and his directions were great. We used the ranch as a central location to travel to the Canyon, to Horseshoe bend, to Navajo bridge, and to Page. We saw Elk in the pasture just beyond the back yard, almost every night! We enjoyed 9 nights of peaceful quiet, just listening to the wind through the pines. Very, very nice vacation and did not want to leave! My wife and I are originally from Chicago and moved to Arizona in 2007. We live in the Phoenix area. We bought this ranch to escape the heat of Phoenix's summers. After buying the property in the fall of 2014 we also realized we love coming up in the Winter as well. We didn't realize after leaving Chicago how much we love the change of seasons - and snow!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this property the first time we saw it. It is about as private as you can get. There are no close neighbors. Sitting around the fire and watching the wildlife has been a real treat for us.
