We loved our stay here. It was a great location near the town and RMNP. We had great giews from our living room and deck. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed when making dinners ect.
This home is perfectly suited for a large family or a couple. Sweeping views of the lake and mountains are amazing. Clean, comfortable and the host was easy to communicate with.
I was pleasantly surprised when I entered this cabin. It was perfect for what my friends & I were hoping to spend our NYE - close to downtown (we drove bc of cold/snow but you could walk), clean and spacious. This place definitely gives you a cabin feel of Grand Lake.
This was a very spacious house. We had plenty of room for our family — 5 adults and 2 toddlers. It’s close to the entrance of RMNP and to downtown Grand Lake. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful views, delightful family gathering space, close to Grand Lake. We were in town for a wedding, and we could easily meet with others in town. Master Bedroom is delightful.
Well stocked kitchen.
A well rented property that could use a deep clean and some upkeep, but a good location; a short walk into town.

There has definitely been some wear and tear given the large number of families that have come through the house. The house is having a major refresh of the interior this winter. The entire interior has been repainted and all flooring/carpets will be replaced.
We went to Grand Lake on a family get away. The home easily accommodated our family of 8 with two babies. The views were beautiful and close to downtown. I couldn’t get the owners agreement to open but Dave was very prompt to answer any questions that I had.
We chose this home to be close to the town itself. You can walk down to the grocery store or enjoy an evening walk at the lake from the house. There was plenty of room for our party and we enjoyed the large table that accommodated our whole family for meals. The balcony view was beautiful and the balcony was spacious and not overcrowded with furniture which is often the case. There was plenty of plates, cups, bowls, and silverware for us.
Host Dave was fabulous to work with. He always answered promptly.Positives:Location, location, locationAwesome views of the mountains and Grand LakeCloseby to a lot of activities, Rocky Mountain National Park and restaurantsLots of nice amentities Negatives:The house needs some love and attention. Many things need updated.
This is a nice house. Plenty of room for the 6 of us and our dogs. Lots of stuff in the cabinets, spices, coffee, sugar... lots of pots and pans, and plates and silverware and glasses and dishes. It's in a great spot, 5 mins walk town and nice restaurants and shops. Overall very happy

Great weekend at Grand Lake
We found this house on VRBO and it looked amazing. We booked it and stayed the weekend of 8/15/2015. It accommodated our family perfectly. The house is very open, clean, and the view from the deck is absolutely amazing!!! Walking distance to the restaurants, shops and the lake. The only drawback was the fact that house does not have A/C. Other than that, I would strongly recommend the house.
Overall very satisfied however, a few things could be improved. For instance, there weren’t enough pillows and/or extremely poor quality and flat. At this price, I would expect all bedrooms to have at least a streaming tv, especially master bedroom. David was very good at communicating before arrival.

Needs so attention
The space and layout is great, with beautiful views. but needs some attention. We discover every pillow was flat, please replace a few each stay, none are worth keeping. We found a pan with dried egg, a dirty stove top and comforters unwashed. The owners were very kind and indicated they are having trouble finding good cleaners but our family of 6 was disappointed. With a dusting of snow our mini van could not make the incline and a nice neighbor had to tow us us with his jeep. Snow tires in the winter should be on the listing. If this was updated and got a deep clean it would be amazing. Location and views were amazing.

Stunning; disappointing
The property’s location and view is jaw dropping. The cabin is excellent for a large family reunion. My disappointment stems from serious cleanliness issues, no outside trash can and no extra paper towels anywhere. I can say 2/3 concerns were addressed with communication from Dave before our stay ended. It was VERY clear to me our experience was distressing to him, and that he strives for a higher expectation of the cleaning crew than we found. I suspect my experience was a one off, but l leave this review because I think it’s critical to know that Dave will respond to your concerns.
We had a great time. The views were magnificent, the house had everything we needed, and we could walk to the entire town very easily.
