Apartment with shared pool only 400 meters from the beach

In respect of the water, whilst it was working at the guest arrival, we were later advised that there were problems with the water supply to the whole village. The matter we accept is that, whilst we believed we had a back up tank that usually helps support the situation for enough time until the water resumes, it seems that didn't happen and we will look to resolve this as soon as practical. We do apologise for this problem, but the water supply was restored two days later. In respect of the cleanliness, the previous people in the apartment were ourselves, preparing things for the new season and whilst we believed we had left it in a good condition, the maintenance team do arrive at the property to not only replace the linen but to undertake a deep clean in advance of guests arriving to make things better. This is part of an external cost we have to incur at the start of a booking, not a final cleaning, and this matter will be looked into and reviewed. The consequences of leaving the apartment after three days did therefore have a cost implication, but efforts were made to try and sort out as much as was needed as soon as practical. Even though mostly outside our swift control, we do apologise for the disruption caused to the holiday.
