THE WHEEL,Harbour view apartment for two - private front entrance and patio

Lovely one bedroom ground floor flat with beautiful harbour views.

The apartment is 5 minutes walking distance from Falmouth town centre and is overlooking Flushing, Falmouth Harbour and Carrick Roads, all the sailing boats moored and sailed.

Dunstanville Terrace is in Greenbank and the entrance of Royal Cornwall Yacht Club is just in the front of us. Greenbank Hotel to the left of us.
The apartment compromises:
Private front door entrance.
Granite tiled patio in the front facing the sea/harbour, open plan kitchen living room with deep bay window opening to the views. One bedroom with king size bed (American queen) with Vi Spring comfy mattress. Walk-in shower in the bathroom.
PARKING Finding a parking spot close to the Wheel. All the streets in this area offer free 24 hour parking. At times it can be difficult,but there is generally a parking slot along Stratton terrace, North Parade and Simmons Hill. Could be much as a 5 minute walk. We suggest double parking outside,unload and then find a space(just remember where) In the evening and after shopping hours spaces on Dunstanville become more readily available. Amazing property and communication with host was 10/10Property was perfect for us with everything you needed.Bed was so comfortable and welcome pack of bread milk eggs butter scones cream and jam was a lovely touch and most welcomed after a long drive.Plenty to do and some lovely restaurants to eat. We had a lovely walk to Gilly beach .Would highly recommend and looking forward to returning

The attention to detail in the property is second to none. Everything we needed to settle in straight away had been thought about. The bed and bedding so comfortable and appreciated after a busy day. The ability to do a quick load of laundry just fabulous. The location perfect, a quick walk to the town. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, especially with a cup of tea, staring out the window at the absolutely gorgeous view.

The apartment was set up with everything you could possibly need! Clean and with the extra arrival treat of cream tea, milk, bread, fruit, eggs. Plus all of the usual kitchen essentials, this really did make it perfect! Great location too. Parking is a bit hit and miss but not too far to walk once you find a spot.

Wonderful place with an excellent location, close to High Street and Falmouth restaurants and shops. Anne was great…very responsive and kind with suggestions. The view out the front windows is one of a kind.

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful views, clean comfortable and homely apartment; had everything you could possibly need and more; home from home! Host Anne was helpful and quick to respond to any messages sent, left a lovely selection of goodies for our arrival including scones, jam and clotted cream. Lovely wine bar opposite with seating and grass area; easy walk into town with plenty of nice shops; The Boathouse pub just up the road. Parking can be a problem but we did very well finding just the spot by the apartment every time.Definitely recommend Anne’s place, ticked all our boxes!

This lodging is a real find! Spectacular location looking out over beautiful and historic Falmouth harbor. We watched sailboats coming in at dusk. Convenient to all the shops. The lodging is beautifully decorated with numerous prints emphasizing sailing. All you need is there for a very enjoyable week. Super clean and comfortable. My only regret was not having another week in Anne’s property!

Anne is a wonderful host. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome. The apartment had been prepared with great attention to detail, and the welcome snacks were a lovely touch.The apartment was exactly as described: spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and with stunning harbour views. The location is perfect, right by the harbour and within easy walking distance of Falmouth's charming shops, bars, restaurants, beaches, and attractions such as Pendennis Castle.We also highly recommend taking the ferry to St Mawes for a wonderful day trip.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt at home from the very beginning. Thank you, Anne, for your warm hospitality. We would happily return and highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

The Wheel was the perfect home base for exploring the Falmouth area. We traveled by train, and it’s an easy, pleasant walk from Falmouth Town to the property. Close to the shops and restaurants, but far enough away to not be noisy. Incredible view from the front window of boats and the Roseland Peninsula. The property is equipped with everything you need. Anne was quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend.

Honestly one of the sweetest and most welcoming places we’ve stayed at. The location is incredible - uninterrupted sea view and so close to the centre. The place itself was perfectly for the two of us. And so quiet in the bedroom.It’s one of those holiday rentals that actually has heart and doesn’t feel cynical. Helped by great communication and a lovely welcome pack that included a cream tea, fruit, milk etc. we have friends who live in Falmouth and this will now be our first port of call for availability.

Central a Great view

This home had everything, central location to Falmouth, shopping, the train and did i mention a great view. It also had a washer & dryer, which is a must while traveling.Well stocked kitchen, towels and a great bedroom, quiet at the back of the house. Never slept so soundlyWould love to stay here again

Lovely property overlooking the harbour

Beautifully furnished, immaculately presented, well equipped and with a seriously comfy bed, my husband and I stayed here for Falmouth Classics. Very handy for the Greenbank Hotel and the yacht club and a short walk into Falmouth Town. Host is excellent too - very helpful.

A beautifully designed flat in a great location - perfect for a get away for 1 or 2 people - a brilliant base to explore Falmouth and the Cornish coastline from. Loved every minute :)

Wonderful apartment

The host was very helpful even before we arrived and answered queries very promptly.The property is absolutely beautiful as is the view of the river. It is so well stocked with everything you might need or have forgotten and some lovely food was left in the fridge for the first evening.We couldn't have been more comfortable. Many thanks.
